I'll have to admit, when Boulder's Pita Pit went out of business I was disappointed. It was a great source for large amounts of veggies for a super low price. I didn't care that it was a corporate chain serving GMO veggies. But now the universe has given us something much better in it's wake- Thrive! As far as I know they are relatively new in town & offer only fully raw, vegan, organic, gluten free, soy free dishes. Everything is surprisingly affordable for a delicious vegan raw foods restaurant too. I'm really into the smoothies in the morning/afternoon, the kyoto drip coffee is the BEST cold brew coffee I've ever had, and my favorite food item is some seaweed veggie wrap that is to die for (I forget what it's called). If you're looking for a healthy change of pace that is affordable even if you work at McDonalds, then EAT HERE!! read more

Wow, the bar has hit the roof in honoring live, raw, vegan eats. The only place in town that offers TRULY raw, organic sprouted almond and cashew milk, made daily. The quality of the spices and honoring the ayurvedic art of healing ingredients is practiced here, and the prices are very reasonable - especially knowing the quality of the ingredients they are committed to using without compromise. First, they'll take your order, then they'll spend the first 15min talking with each other behind the bar, while you question whether or not someone's in the back making your drink. They're not. You'll spend the later half of your visit watching them clean the dirty blender they forgot about, then searching for the ingredients they're unsure they have, and getting high in the kitchen. Macca Chocolate is the bomb. Sometimes the staff can be weird here. Its high quality snack kind of food. Its not like raw gourmet not even close, but its good for you. Food combining of drinks is off: fruit with nuts. The nori roll is really good and they make a very good, but not always consistent with taste or portions Pad Thai. Burgers not very good. Salads are good, but taco salad has too much fat. Its the best vegan in town, but the door is wide open in Boulder for other places. Nacho kale chips are best ever. read more

The food is super yummy, but expect small portions. The ambiance of this place is totally bizarre and when we came in the music was so loud, we couldn't even hear the guy taking out order. He did turn in down a little when I kept asking "what?". Also, there is minimal seating so we took our food to-go. I loved the pad thai! read more

Everything here is amazing: the people, the food, the ambiance, the community, and the events! They have unbeatable high quality raw organic vegan paleo gluten free food and everything is carefully crafted by the owner and the Thrive tribe. Can't thank all of them enough for their attention to detail and the amount of love they put in everything they make. This is one of the ONLY places I will eat out at due to my high standard of food. They make everything with local Eldorado Spring Water (if it requires water) and offer it to drink as well. Everyone that works here is incredibly sexy, you can tell they are healthy from the pheromones exuding from this place. I would honestly pay money just to hang out on the property. The amount of crystals in this place is out of this world. Thank goodness too, am I right??? Everything is compostable and the staff (besides blasting my eyeballs out) knows everything there is to know about super foods. Beyond that, some Grandfatherly like figure who said he had no name, gave me direct pointers on how to decide what to eat and offered me flashcards with tons of information about the food. Lunched here when visiting and tried a smoothie and potatoes. Both were excellent and service staff and kitchen were helpful and attentive.

I was extremely happy to find this place. I walked in, greeted by sacred geometry decals and paintings, which was very comforting. The staff are all friendly and high-vibe. I ordered the holy pesto and kale chips. The kale chips were especially amazing. I'm going back today to try the Nori wrap and of course get more kale chips. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were for such high-quality food. read more

I'm really happy this place exists. We have a dearth of vegan restaurants in Boulder, and this is probably the only restaurant that is all organic. That is ridiculous for a "food town" like Boulder. It has a definite hippie vibe and you might be waiting a while to get your food. That's ok. Just don't come in here if you're in a rush. The smoothies are decent, sometimes a bit chalky because of the powder adds. They have some really good salads and soup. Kale chips are good. For all their strictness about their ingredients and health-quality, I have a few gripes-- to much sweetener - they put sugars in a lot of things - even places where you wouldn't necessarily expect it like sauces or cheeses or wraps. And agave is not good for you. I don't care what they say, do the research, it's overly processed and spikes your GI. And not everyone can have added sugar in their food due to health reasons. Secondly, nutritional yeast. It's hard to find things made without this. All nutritional yeast (unless you buy specialty products) is made with synthetic vitamins added. Not healthy. Not natural. It is also grown on fermenting sugar beets, also usually GMO. And because it's a yeast it can feed internal fungus like candida. Many reasons to avoid yeast but unfortunately you will have a hard time avoiding it here. To recap, I love you Thrive, but please take a second look at some of your ingredients! And would love to see some new things on the menu sometimes. read more

Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. My boyfriend got me a gift card for my birthday. I'm vegan, he's not. We went on a nice sunny day and sat outside with our dog (another bonus). He loved everything just as much as I did. We got the nori wraps, an iced coffee, and two of the salads (rainbow magic and pad thai). Everything was great - my boyfriend kept saying how surprisingly full he felt all afternoon afterwards, too - and I would highly recommend the nori wraps. We will be back! read more

This restaurant has good vibes and even better food! Everything we ordered was off the charts incredible! Even my husband who is a meat eater loved it. This place was a life saver!!! We are a raw vegan couple from Miami, Florida on vacation in Colorado. We had to spend a night in Boulder unexpectedly because of a huge snow storm that made it unsafe for us to drive up north to Estes. This ended up being a blessing in disguise because we found Thrive and were able to eat all of our meals here. This place is so good that we made sure to order extra to take with us along our road trip! We tried the sammiches, burger, nori tacos, mushroom soup, holy pesto zucchini, chilli soup, rainbow salad... We also had a smoothie (can't remember which flavor), multiple cheesecakes and porridges. Yes, that is a lot of food for two people but when this is the only raw vegan cafe in town you go big! It was sooo good, if we lived in town we'd be here everyday. The staff was wonderful, super laid back and gave off awesome and friendly vibes which is always a plus. They have done a great job decorating the space which adds to the experience. If you are looking for delicious healthy food in a high vibrating location - THIS IS IT! Thank you guys for nourishing us with your delicious food.
