Michelin-recognized restaurateur Mawa McQueen has done it again with Crêpe Therapy Café in Boulder, CO. Now you can experience her amazing food just a short drive from Denver. This spot isn't just about delicious crêpes -- it's about creating space to pause, breathe, and reset. The concept of "permission to pause" truly shines through, from the calm atmosphere to the thoughtful menu. I stopped by during their opening festivities, and it was a full celebration. The Golden Buffalo Marching Band, champagne sabering, and dancing brought incredible energy to the event. What I tried: * Parisian Crêpe: Gruyere & Swiss, jambon de Paris, honey Dijon mustard sauce * Boulder Crêpe: Gruyere & Swiss, rotisserie chicken, basil pesto, mushrooms * Citrus Confidential Crêpe: Yuzu lemon curd, blueberry compote, powdered sugar * Butter croissant and ham & cheese croissant Best bite: The Boulder Crêpe was perfection. The basil pesto tied everything together beautifully, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. If you're in Boulder--or even if you're not--this is absolutely worth the drive.

This place is awesome. I got a custom savory crepe with chicken, ham, bacon, Gruyère and Swiss, mustard, and horseradish sauce. It was amazing! Very generous on the fillings. For my sweet crepe, I got the velvet crush. Wow! I've never had a red velvet crepe before, but I'm sure glad I have now! I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Service wasn't awesome. Food was alright but way overpriced for what you get. Cute place though.

With a classy and modern feel to it, Crêpe Therapy Café is definitely one of my favorite spots. Whether it's a meal, dessert, or coffee, I feel like I've always got options there (not to mentions the various vegan/ gluten free options!) everything is made with the best quality, and tastes like it too. 10/10!

The crepe was tasteless and the so-called savory ingredients were minimal. So overpriced! The tables were tiny and we could not spread out.

Good food. But. The staff seem mistreated and the vibe was so bad. Felt very awkward and overpriced.

But I love fresh squeezed fruit and vegetables juices especially when I can choose a normal table size option, 12 ounces or less and especially if they graciously customize. This is the place. They even have at least 3 different menu designed options that meet my requirements that are actually interesting, and include things like beets, which I love and are not heavily dependent on standbys such orange/carrot bases, though I do love some carrot included. Yes the place is pretty crowded whenever I've been there. It's walkable from CU and Boulder High so that is not surprising. The staff has always been nice and pretty realistic on how long it might take. Yes, I have had to leave my order and return 10-20 minutes later on a busy Saturday afternoon on a CU game day but that's to be expected. There's lots of browsing nearby or you can do what one smart customer in front of me did and plan ahead, use the app and arrive to your order packed and waiting in a nice big bag. Tastes good and feels healthy.

Although when it came my order she ignored me and was what felt discriminating and aggressive against (colored gay person) even though she didn't seem to have an issue with the white man behind me. (which is the reason why she even serviced me to begin with) because the person I introduced the store to was attended by the young man and I was serviced by the girl I am very disappointed as i've been attending to this establishment since it opened!!!! Personally I love this store so much and I like to take people there since the owners are very friendly and welcoming but i never want to experience this again or have anyone else feel uncomfortable!!!!!

I highly recommend subbing the blue cheese for the aioli; it's perfection. My husband loves the ramen, and the orange cauliflower is another must-try. If you visit in the evening, they serve complimentary focaccia bread, which is so fresh and flavorful. Nearly any dish can be made vegan, and they do an incredible job with the substitutions. This is definitely one of the nicest upscale vegan-friendly restaurants around. Our server, Elizabeth, was incredible -- so attentive, kind, and genuinely friendly. She made our experience even better. We'll definitely be back! Also, the restaurant is super cute!

I've been here many times in a variety of ways--sat at the bar, at tables with friends and by myself, both inside and outside, and even experienced the large farm table prix fixe menu, which was fantastic. My experiences have consistently been great--the food, service, and atmosphere have always been top-notch. Tonight, however, was my first disappointing visit. I ordered the root vegetable bruschetta, which was very good. I also ordered the butternut squash penne pasta, a dish I've had before and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely spicy. I'm not sure if the recipe has changed or if it was just a heavy hand in the kitchen, but it was not something I could eat. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't have an answer, so I simply asked for a to-go container. Since I couldn't eat it, I later gave the container to a homeless woman sitting nearby with her grocery cart. On my way out, I spoke with someone at the door who brought over the manager. The manager asked if he could see the dish, so I opened the container for him. He then asked if he could taste it and reached in, picked up a noodle, and tried it, saying he didn't notice anything unusual. He also wasn't aware of any changes to the recipe. I suggested that if the dish is now spicy, it might be helpful to note that on the menu so guests know what to expect. What left me disappointed wasn't just the dish itself, but how the situation was handled. There wasn't an offer to replace the meal or provide an alternative, which would have gone a long way. As someone who is only about six months into living in Colorado and a new business owner in the area, I often refer places I believe in. Tonight left me questioning whether I will continue to recommend Leaf based on how this was handled, though I'm hopeful that by tomorrow morning I may feel differently. That said, based on my many past positive experiences, I still believe Leaf is a great restaurant. I just hope this was an off night and that a little more attention is given to both consistency in the kitchen and how concerns are handled moving forward.

Some items are now where they should as have been, like peanut butter is now next to jam and jelly jars rather than applesauce and baby disposable diapers! Who ever thought up that choice? But now all the chicken is in sealed packages rather than the fresh case. The staff has offered to open a package to sell only a smaller amount but I wonder how likely they will have time for this? A loss for me as I only buy for two people most of the time. Another change is that the olive bar is stand alone and no longer dished out into containers to grab and go. Much more chance of contamination from a different item from another bin. I still prefer this store for many things though both of the smaller Whole Foods location have a usefulness too. The previous in store location of Birdcall is now gone the the free standing location at Twenty Ninth Street Mall is still open and has seating a parking better than when it served here. It's nice to see staff members still working here for 20 years but also nice that some turnover happens for new energy too. When the remodel is done I will be back with pictures and an evaluation from a shopper's point of view.

It was packed with exciting products some of which were 3rd party certified to be organic. Tried some lovely skin oils (they smelled so good), and perused their clothing, methylene blue drops, sea moss gummies and organ meat jerky. Had a really yummy juice called Glow (Apple, carrot, turmeric, ginger, lemon, aloe vera) that I shared with a friend. As the items are made fresh on demand it does take some time to receive your item. The other patrons today tended not to pick up after themselves and were not very courteous or self aware. It is parent's weekend for CU so what I encountered may be a one off. Will definitely be back to try more menu items.
