Baked goods are so delicious, can be a little bit sweet and flaky if you're not used to French pastries, but I highly recommend the cinnamon roll and the chocolate croissant.

Ok so the almond croissants are out of this world. Would go back again and again for that item. But otherwise not blown away by other menu items. The space is nice and ample seating. Was disappointed in the breakfast sandwich and my cappuccino was not great.

What a cute little cafe and coffee shop. Don't be fooled, I said "little" but this place is actually huge! The seating area isn't what you see after you order, walk to the left and through the door and there are table and chairs down the hallway. Keep walking and there's a nook with more tables and chairs. Food was good. The slice of quiche was HUGE and filling. The bread of the Croque Madame that I ordered were both light and fluffy as well as chewy, it was a GREAT breakfast! We ordered a kouign amann for a little sweet bite after breakfast. It was nice and crispy at all the little edges. I really appreciated the artistry of the pastry. Parking n the street was not too tough. I'm from Los Angeles so I believe I'm always battling for parking but we found a spot a short distance away and there's lots of shops to stop and check out to keep you busy. Service was amazing, the cashier was super polite and friendly.

Top notch food, service and atmosphere. The lack of gf options is a bummer, but the prices and quality make up for it. Best drip coffee in town. Good place for small groups or to study

Great French food for brunch or lunch. Order at the counter and food comes out to your table. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the outdoor seating was shaded. We were there on a fall Saturday around 11am and the line to order moved quickly. There was no problem finding a place to sit. Quiche was classically French - very rich! Salmon salad and croissant were both well prepared. Consider getting some bread or pastries to go - they all looked delicious.

The food was very yummy! The croissants were so flakey, and done really well. I Went thinking it would be a quicker option since you order at the counter and then the food is brought out when ready, but it was a bit of a wait. The pastries and coffee came out quick/immediately but the actual plates took over 30mins. The staff were nice, and there were many seating options! Overall would recommend for a casual but good breakfast.

My husband and I were out and about for Boulder Startup Week and in the process, we bumped into a friend who told us about Maisonette. I hadn't been into the building since pre-covid Frank's Chophouse and it looks amazing. It's always been a neat structure, but the current version of simple, rustic, elegance works perfectly for this little pastry shop. The desserts are beautiful and were very tempting, but I ended up with the Matinette. It came with a side of beautiful fresh greens. The Matinette itself was topped with a perfectly cooked egg and was superb. Parking is as easy as anywhere in the area (there's an underground garage just across the street). Also, this is the most walkable part of Boulder with plenty of public transit. Overall, it's really exciting to not only have the space in use again, but by such a great little place. It was busy when I was there! Let's keep it that way.

Full pastry case at 8 am on a Saturday

The more I go here, the less enchanted I am becoming. It has potential to be better and I hope they get there. My friend and I finally went early enough to see a full variety display of the pastries. We were there minutes after opening and they had a full case. We bought a few to take home for other family members and I will report on the quality of these later. I had an almond croissant and a cortado at the table. I'm glad they have opened up more of the existing seating which had been used by the previous occupant of this building. I saw why there are almost no pastries left by 11. Within 10 minutes of opening the line was long. There is a hotel directly across the street, whose food reputation is only fair so I guess this place serves the purpose. The cortado was the smallest and most tasteless I have ever had. There is an excellent one down the street at the coffee bar of a popular food hall. They got confused and made this one "to go" in a silly tiny "bathroom type" size paper cup. My almond croissant was "for here" so why not the drink? The almond croissant was warm, large, fresh and as heavy as lead and too sweet. I have had them all over Boulder and this was not even close to as enjoyable as a long time north Boulder bakery. I washed the serving down with 2 glasses of water to make up for lack of fluid in the cortado and broke off a big chunk of the warm baguette to eat immediately, that I was taking home. The baguette was the star of the day, warm, crispy outside and fluffy inside like any in Paris I have had. I will adjust the review if necessary once the rest of the pastries are eaten. Know that even compared to quality places across Boulder, the prices are here are high. Not for every day for many. They have apparently spent a lot on the remodel and it does look great and they are still training serving staff and need to continue to do so for sure.

We went here for breakfast and this place crushes!! Thank you for making great pastries

I've been once, had an almond chocolate croissant that was perfect. I love the atmosphere, lots of quiet places to sit and talk.

This is The Place...for a great locals breakfast…read more Food was exceptional and all the breakfast favorites are available. Leaning towards Mexican options which is even better for us. We had the MIGAS and the Steak-and-egg fried rice with coffees. AWESOME!!! I would eat the wagyu steak n eggs everyday! Service is fast and efficient. They had people in and out in no time. Food came fast and hot and they didn't miss a step. Coffee cup was full the entire time and they turned tables like their life depended on it. At 11am on Sunday morning we showed up to 10 people waiting, within 5-7 minutes we were all seated. There was a constant flow of customers and you know this place is a local gem. Out the door for $52 for a quality meal that included steak and bottomless coffee felt amazing given the economics of the day. Indoor and outdoor seating. Tables from 1 to 8 and lots of 2 and 4 tops. Hidden away in an industrial park, forget Snooze, come here. You won't regret it.

This truly is a best kept secret for brunching heaven off the beaten path in Boulder…read more It's a beautiful melting pot of cuisine as well as guests. While it has its own parking lot there is also loads of street parking nearby - making it easy to drop folks off near then swoop a spot for your stay. Seating is offered both inside and out. They are also happy to accommodate folks with mobility concerns and/or crutches. Staff are friendly, attentive and more than likely the hardest working waitstaff in town! If you're craving delicious food they have something for every palate! I'm talking gritz, breakfast burrito, pancakes, braised beef tongue, you name it they've got it!
