A Greek cafe with an incredible ambiance! I sure wasn't expecting this discovery while I was doing a little excursion in this Lafayette neighborhood on a beautiful Sunday early afternoon. This is a cafe where they can prepare a full meal and yet you may not call it a "full service restaurant". You can also order something upfront and be on the go so I enjoyed the "casual" approach. I hadn't had my morning coffee yet; I was a bit overdue for that as a matter of fact. I first asked for the Cold Brew but the young lady upfront said they were all out of it for the day. Bummer...I hence opted for an Iced Latte. I also asked for one the traditional Greek Butter Cookies/Biscuits. And all for to go. As much as I wanted to immerse myself into the exquisite ambient atmosphere inside the cafe, I somehow shied away from doing so as most of the tables were occupied by people with some chatters (they weren't loud or anything however ); I simply wanted some "me time" all by myself in my own car. As much as this place is beautiful, the service was a bit too slow. My simple iced latte and butter cookie/biscuit took about 15 minutes before they were handed to me (while I was awaiting though, an older lady who came out of the kitchen area gave me a nice warm smile and asked if she could assist me. To which I replied, "I am waiting for my beverage and pastry ". As soon as I had said that they were finally ready. Oh boy, I almost thought they had forgotten about me!) But my patience paid off at the end. I really enjoyed my beverage and pastry especially the iced latte. It was well-made in a 16oz cup in a generous pour. The perfect mixture of the espresso shots and the milk; mmmmm!! The butter cookie/biscuit was light and had a hint of butteriness; sure was a nice accomplishment to my cold refreshing latte. The quality didn't disappoint me. While I strongly doubt that I would bother to come all the way up here just to dine at this cafe even for its cuteness, it's a nice place to remember in case I happen to find myself in the neighborhood. This place deserves a perfect 4-star review based on my experience today. And I hope that the service improves a bit in the future. read more

Wow - what a gem. Can't believe I haven't come here before. Located on 95th and Arapahoe this breakfast/lunch place is not to miss. They have indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a park. Order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. We were there for lunch on a Friday and the place was packed. My friend got the gluten free quiche and a Greek side salad. I had the Kofte Borek and a Greek side salad. Portions were perfect. Food was fantastic. My Kofte took a little longer to come out because they made it fresh. They serve all the coffee and tea you would expect for mornings. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Recommend! read more

This coffee shop is SO CUTE! A lot of natural light with a roll-up door to let the outside in. The coffee was delicious too and they have Turkish coffee if you want something a little stronger. They have Wi-Fi and outlets to work remote. Can't recommend this place enough read more

I am so excited about this charming coffee shop located between Morning Glory and the now closed 95a . The space is very pleasant, bright, airy, and welcoming, with a nice patio. The owner, who sells her Mediterranean pastries at the Louisville and Boulder farmer's markets, opened Kismet a couple months ago. Fadia and her staff have created something unique and very special in Lafayette. The atmosphere is amazing, there are gifts to purchase but most importantly the coffee and pastries! I wanted a walnut baklava which was out of stock but Fadia put a batch in the oven whilst we had coffee so I got to take some home. My husband had the bougasta which was so light and heavenly. The Turkish coffee was amazing served in a very pretty cup and my latte was so creamy. Will be recommending this gem to all my friends read more

Very good food but the reason I'm leaving three stars is it took 20 minutes to get a bunch of items that are typically pre-prepared like hummus, tzatziki, Greek salad and so on. There is no reason why a not particularly busy Restaurant should take that long to serve this kind of food. read more

This cafe is a lovely little spot tucked into a group of businesses and other restaurants on the southeast side of 95th & Arapahoe. It feels like an oasis when you walk in, with a light airy feel. I love everything about this place and come here anytime I'm in town. It reminds me of my trips to Greece and Cyprus and I'd argue that the Bougatsa and quiche are even better at Kismet. The ambiance is incredible as well! read more

What a sweet little spot. The outdoor patio is very pleasant on summer mornings. We had four pastries today - spanakopita, kofte borek, portokalopita, and bougatsa. All were wonderful. The borek had a lovely spice to the meat. The portokalopita was like getting a hug. And the bougatsa had such a wonderful crunch on the top and creaminess to the center. Totally a delight! read more

Wow -- what a find! This is a lovely new establishment, offering delicious and authentic Turkish coffee (brewed the old-fashioned way, over hot sand!), sweet treats, spinach pastries for lunch, and much, much more. The owner is delightful and helpful and there is plenty of seating to relax and eat. Plus, some shelves of hard-to-find-elsewhere items for fans of Middle Eastern things. I love the sesame cookies and the shortbread-like melt-in-your-mouth kourabia cookies. This is a lovely restaurant tucked in with a few other restaurants. Owner is friendly, and the ambiance is really inviting. Numerous art pieces on the wall, a variety of seating, including an outdoor patio. The food is Mediterranean, wonderful dolmas, baba ganoush that melts in your mouth, delicious pastries, and the restaurant has great coffee. Daily offerings of quiche and a mezze plate.
