Great little diner. Vintage design inside. 50's-60's vibe. Open kitchen. The menu looks really great. Some interesting breakfast items, delicious sandwiches and burgers. I chose patty melt.It was delicious! Perfectly grilled with melty swiss cheese. The burger was super tasty. I chose the salad with mine. It was fancy greens with tomato and onion. Shredded cheddar cheese and cucumbers .Their red pepper Italian was delicious. Service was excellent. Very attentive without being annoying. Prices were great. Check out Bob's.

Amazing in every possible way. Food is perfection. Nobody can ever cook an over medium egg properly. They can here!! The pork green chili is fantastic. The decor is so adorable and clever. Servers are all wonderful. Can't say enough good things.

My brother lives right on the edge of downtown Louisville & is within walking distance of everything. He rarely dines in and likes to walk to his favorite spots to eat every day. The crazy thing is that the quality of the food in Louisville is somehow far above that of other small towns. I realize that all the places I've eaten there have been well vetted by my brother and his family but I'm not used to having such a great concentration of fantastic places to eat. this was my first trip to Bob's with him and it didn't disappoint. My brother is a burger and fries guy and I'm a Reuben & rings person. I can't speak to the burger but my Reuben was top notch. I loved the marble rye and the onion rings where perfect. I also ordered a short stack of pancakes since we were there before noon and those were also great. Our server was excellent and knew my brother's order without him even needing to give it to her. if you're int eh neighborhood, this is small town excellence!

Consistently good food, substantial portions, efficient service, reasonably priced neighborhood diner with outdoor seating in downtown Louisville.

Fantastic Diner! How is it I've lived in Boulder County for so long and missed this GEM! The pancakes were fluffy and fabulous. The corned beef hash was yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order. The service was awesome. Zoe is great! Coffee was kept full and hot. Hot chocolate was epic. Definitely will be going back to try lunch next!

Taste: 4 Service: 4 Price: 5 Quality: 5 Quantity: 4 I really liked bobs. It's got a great atmosphere, really making you feel like you're in the 60s. Bobs is a pretty consistent breakfast spot with good prices, that never disappoints. We ordered the light breakfast, pancakes, and breakfast special, which were banana pancakes with vanilla frosting. There's typically plenty of parking and it's too hard to get a seat. I'd say, maybe best to avoid Sunday after 10. Common sense to avoid crowds after church let's out. Even still, worth the wait :)

Excellent service and food! Server was attentive and helpful. Had good recommendations on food and helping me decide. Food came out quickly and delicious. Pancakes are large and very fluffy. Breakfast shot is delicious and a good way to start the day! Went early in mid week, it wasn't super busy and had seat options.

    Hot pastrami sandwich, yummy!

Consistently good food and friendly service in this charming diner downtown Louisville. I love that they keep a limited breakfast menu during lunchtime. Inside it's small but when the weather gets warmer there are a few tables outside, which is very pleasant. No wonder we keep going back!

Fun vintage diner, food was pretty average, but great value. The cups had a bit of a smell to them.

I wanted a burger he wanted to sit down meal and we ended up at the Moonlight Diner. Walking into the diner is like a step back in time. The decor is 1950s memorabilia with chrome touches and leather wrapped seating. It's everything you would think a diner would be but the food is so much more. They have a full bar as well as dairy treats, including shakes and malts. They also have breakfast all day and love their pancakes. They also serve barbecue. But I went for the patty melt. And my other half went for breakfast. His breakfast was the mountain man breakfast and was full of meats, eggs hashbrowns, and Ken with pancakes, but he opted for English buffet instead. It also came with a side of toast. It was a very ample breakfast. My patty melt sure did hit the spot. It was a perfectly medium cooked hamburger on rye with cheddar, and Swiss melted with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Instead of fries, I went for the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was comfort food to the max. My date also got the peanut butter shake. He slurped that down in a hot minute. He said it was wonderful. He offered me a taste at least twice before I noticed it was gone. There's also meatloaf on the menu as well as a pulled pork barbecue Frito pie and they have a Frito pie burger. They also serve meatloaf. They have several classics and several twists. I recommend going there. There's something for everyone.

Solid win (mostly)…read more We eyed this cute diner because we needed dinner and we are staying at the YMCA cabins for XC skiing. Love to support a local place. Drive by night one at 6:40 and they were putting up chairs (7pm close seems a bit early). So... went the next night and made sure to get there with plenty of time. Ordered a veggie burger (solid!), spicy original, and original burger and large fries. Ended up around $30. My family loved the food and when I picked up the order, they did tell me the fries are cooked in beef fat or seasoning or something like that and asked if I still wanted them (knowing vegetarians ordered veggie burgers). I do wish they put this on the menu before we ordered but grateful they shared. They very well could've not told me. My family enjoyed them. The only thing that can be improved is the cleanliness. I think the diner chairs were a bit dirty and could use a scrub down. Other than fries I wished I could eat and a bit of a scrub, we were pleased to come here.

Holy cow that was a horrible diner…read more The owners were very non-chalant about seating us. We originally sat near the service door to the kitchen and heard a lot of complaining when people went in and out of the door. Had to ask to be reseated. We were not quickly attended to, never received our water in a timely manner, but we did get our coffee which was incredibly watered down and flavorless. (Granted, we got our coffee quickly.) Had two different dishes: one was their "sampler" of sorts, and another was an omelette smothered in gravy. The sampler had decent eggs - the hashbrowns were food service hashbrowns that were stale and not very crispy and chewy - typical food service grade: "acceptable". Ham and sausage were incredibly bland, bacon was just salted bacon with zero flavor. Had a waffle that disintegrated as soon as I put butter and syrup on it - completely turned to mush, had a raw consistency. The pancakes were the only decent thing on the plate, and it's clear they were Bisquick. Omelette didn't have layered meat and cheese, it was all whipped together - very very lazy. Overall, very disappointing. Cost was only thing decent about the restaurant. Lots of older people in the diner, which tells me "salty and bland". The clientelle of the restaurant usually represents how the food will be, and for hospital level service food, this was spot on. Now, I realize restaurants are struggling to survive. But if you're struggling and you simply don't care, that's a different story. Hit up Moonlight Diner off of Tower. Longer drive, but worth the trip. If you're really hungry, stop by McDonald's instead.
