The Philly is mostly bread. Not worth $12. Not even close

I'd stick to a traditional breakfast here. I tried a sandwich today. After calling in a Reuben, the restaurant called back to tell me they took it off the menu. I opted for the Philly and it was very small with not much between the bread. I let them know and the staff made sure that I was taken care of when I came back, which is really appreciated.

My husband and I left this restaurant shocked. Here is why...first, we were looking for a new diner that would be a hole in the wall and has both Mexican and American options. We can both confidently say that this restaurant had both. Service was so-so, the place was in dire need to cleaning...new carpets...new chairs and tables...just was very old and dirty. You could see the marks on the floor like a black trail of where people walk. Sorry, but this is pretty gross. When we got to the point where we paid our bill, the price seemed right. I got my card out and on the counter...was a live...crawling....cockroach. I have not returned.

Parkway Cafe is your typical small town diner. I dropped by on a Sunday morning with a small group of people. They have limited vegetarian breakfast options. In fact, the only items on the menu I found I could eat was an omelet and pancakes or French toast. I ordered the number 3 omelet with French toast and a biscuit on the side. None of my food had any seasoning and the biscuit was under baked. The people I was with enjoyed their food more than I. As a vegetarian, my experience was underwhelming. This cafe may not be the best option for people with dietary restrictions but I'm sure all others might enjoy.

Lot's of good food at a reasonable price with good service. I had the # 2 omelet which comes smothered in green chili with hash browns and toast. The omelet was good and although they are not affiliated to the Parkway café in Boulder the green chili tasted the same. The hash browns were not browned but this is a lost art I guess judging by my recent experiences at lots of restaurants. I would repeat the experience,

So I've been in the north area for years and I've always seen this little cafe but have never ventured in. So I decided to surprise my wife with some place new. It's located in a strip mall running parallel to 92nd ave, facing the North. This place is nothing fancy but it is very comfortable and lots of seating. There is a full menu and you can pretty much order whatever you want off the menu. We asked for suggestions and the waitress said pretty much everything was delicious. The server wad very friendly and very attentive. Even the other waitress checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything. I did go to the bathroom and when I walked by the kitchen it was nice to see the griddle in action full of bacon and sausage. Our plates were plentiful and filling. We will definitely be back. If your looking for something new, but old give ol' Parkway cafe a try !! Would definitely recommend !!!

The huevos Garcia is my favorite! I'm going to try the chili rellenos next time. There are a select items you can order and a half order for those that prefer s smaller meal. The kids breakfast was surprisingly big! The coffee is excellent... the service is fast and friendly... a post definite recommend!

5 Stars because for a Greasy Spoon, this is the Apogee. I would reccomend experiencing it for yourself. True short-order cooking. Do breakfast of lunch, they're the best times. As for what to eat, get a Burrito or a Burger. These are just the Best, everything is good.

The restaurant was clean, service was great as always and though busy, we were seated pretty quickly as the establishment is quite large with lots of seating. She found out that hubby and I were going to split a 4 piece dark meal, she split out the plate with our own mash and gravy...and also cut our Texas toasts in half, without us asking. We always get the chicken gizzard and livers here and would be down to try livers and onions at some point. This place has a good hearty meal and consistent great service. We love Wishbone!

There is a lovely patio and plenty of seating inside but this is a popular spot for good reason! Service is cheerful and expedient throughout. We started with the Mexican cold brew coffee and it might be the best coffee I have had in the area!! It was OUTSTANDING!!! Get it! It's the perfect blend of cold brew, horchata, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon and I think I could drink it everyday!! We each ordered a skillet, I had the chili relleno skillet with chicken and pancakes for the side and they must be putting magic in those pancakes because they were special. I'm not a big pancake person and I couldn't get enough. They were fluffy and yet they didn't fall apart and I could taste the vanilla they use in the batter. The skillet was massive and delicious and the rellenos were crisp all topped with a hearty portion of expertly prepared green chili. My husband had a different skillet and modified it to add extra proteins and also the rellenos. They were happy to accommodate. What a fabulous brunch experience! I wish I lived closer! I would certainly be a regular! This place is fabulous!!!!!

And, my, oh my, as soon as we parked, we saw the line. Thank goodness, these folks were on their game and despite a decently long line to be seated, they were able to get us in pretty quickly and continued to do so with others, throughout our entire visit. This is teamwork at its best - front and back of the house killing it. We ordered brunch cocktails (bloody mary and mimosa), shared one of their seasonal specials (churro french toast) and had entrees (chilaquiles and crispy rellenos & eggs). Yes, before you think it, yes, we ordered way too much food but took some home with us. Service was really great - fast and cooked to order. Our server checked on us often but not so much that we felt rushed (despite seeing all the folks waiting to be seated, lol). It was a great meal that we'd drive back for. Brunch House has a great vibe - a bit of an upscale diner feel with really elevated food. We will def return in the fall and maybe sit outside. Do yourself a favor, add them to your short list.

Mimosas and Bloody Marys were both decent, nothing spectacular, which was fine. We ordered 4 Bruschetta Boards, a Classic Remix, a What The French, a Kids Grilled Cheese, and a Kids "Picnic". All meals were excellent, served hot, and of a perfect size. Everything was consumed at the restaurant. The Classic Remix consisted of scrambled eggs, homemade tater tots, and sausage. The tots were crispy and the sausage was mild. The What the French was torn up pieces of French toast covered with a honey based sauce. The Bruschetta Boards provided a full assortment of the items offered. The favorite was the Sweet & Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese. The kids enjoyed their meals as well. The Picnic is nice as it's just sliced chicken, grapes, and apples. They ate it all!
