Review is for takeout. Phone support was phenomenal. Great information and even better recommendations by the phone service. It is so nice when establishments answer their phone. I went with the spinach chicken salad and wow. Absolutely the best spinach salad ever..the chicken was tender and not dry. Dressing tied in all of the different flavors of the feta cheese, cranberries, I even loved the onions. It was ready to go when I got there and she was even nicer in person. So glad I tried them out. Fresh, flavorful food with friendly, great service. Seems like places like this are becoming more rare as time goes on. Gotta cherish them. I had a disappointing experience as a vegetarian. I ordered the veggie omelette and found a piece of bacon in it. After asking for a remake, the second dish unfortunately had a piece of ham mixed into the hash browns as well. If you're not vegetarian, I would rate the food around a 4/5--the banana bread French toast was excellent. However, the repeated mistakes were concerning and made me question the kitchen's attention to detail and overall food handling practices. read more

I just want to start off by saying that the service was decent after the initial greeting, although the server was a little short with us initially... Im not sure if it was the manager or who it was, but he came over and asked how my burrito was and I told him that the steak was undercooked and that it was just sort of subpar and I will not be taking it home and he, to his credit had it removed from the ticket. I would say the primary reason why I felt compelled to write this review is because it has 4 1/2 stars and I have no idea who has been rating it that way, but it's definitely not a 4 1/2 star restaurant. We go out of our way to go to restaurants that are rated highly and this one does not fall in line with four and half stars at all maybe three...maybe two. The food here is absolutely what you would get if you just went to the frozen food section at Safeway or something and just bought it and made it at home. Which is not to say it's impossible to have a restaurant that sells food like this, however, if it is that quality of food, I would expect the prices to be in line with that. The cost for anything on the menu- even basic biscuits and gravy was $12.99. I would say the average per plate was somewhere around $15 per plate and for anything else that you want to add on it's 3 to 4 sometimes five dollars, which is gross to think that we could've stayed home and paid a lot less and not gone home feeling like crap from the massive amount of MSG in the food. Also, the banana bread that looked so good in the pictures online was covered in some sort of salty loogie-tasting cinnamon thing that may have been good to someone, but I'm not sure who would like the taste of a cinnamon flavored loogie. As far as ambiance goes, it's pretty loud and the tables and booth seats that we sat at seemed pretty cheap. Teh floor plan is relatively wide open and it seems like it was thrown up pretty quickly without a lot of extra thought. Overall, I would say the restaurant was probably put together to be a profit machine, and most of the high ratings on here probably came from friends and family or even investors or shareholders and their families. 10/10 would NOT eat there again, even if someone invited me and said they would pay for me. I had an awful first time r"there yesterday for breakfast. I ordered a California eggs Benedict . When the waitress came to take our plates she asked why I didn't finish my meal. I said because it was "served to me cold". She went to try and take it off the bill but wasn't able to because know one at the restaurant how to make the adjustment to the check. I've tried this place 3 times over the past couple of years. The food isn't anything exceptional despite all these positive reviews. I love old school diners but this one always disappoints me but I think the new generations just don't get it. Diner food used to be the food you grew up on. The green chile is mediocre and I received about a 1/4 cup of it for what was supposed to be huevos ranchero. The eggs were supposed to be sunny side, I got scrambled eggs ( who gets scrambled eggs for huevos ranchero ) this made for a very dry plate of huevos ranchero I've ever had in my life. The potatoes were good but only half were cooked properly. I really want this place to be great but to be honest, finding a good diner is becoming a thing of the past. The diner setting is classic, the staff was friendly and the overall service ok. Maybe I'll try it again and get a sandwich. read more

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Colorado Springs, and it was great. We only had to wait about 15 minutes, which was surprising given the number of people there. The skillet, omelet, and country-fried chicken with eggs, served with a biscuit and gravy, were all delicious. Our server was attentive, checking in frequently to offer coffee refills. Greeted promptly and only had to wait about 1-2 minutes for a table and that's only because I wanted a booth and they were still cleaning it. Server Doe was really nice, sweet, and helpful. Very clean and everyone looked professional. Yes it's a breakfast place so sometimes employees can get relaxed but here they are relaxed but still professional. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with the Hollandaise sauce on the side with potatoes. (I'm very picky about my Eggs Benedict, I like the traditional English muffin, Canadian bacon, poached egg, and sauce. I like the sauce on the side incase it doesn't taste good or it's old and/or separated.) My order came out and looked exactly the way I wanted, however when I cut into it the white of the eggs was not cooked completely. I told Dow and she replaced it without any grief and in a matter of just a couple minutes. When she brought it the cooks had put the sauce on it and she offered to replace it again. I told her no and explained why I like the sauce on the side and told her I already tried it and it was perfect. She completely understood and agreed with me. So my meal turned out perfect. My companion had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and French toast, which he said was great. Prices are great. If we are ever back in the area we will be going again. read more

The staff here were super friendly and the vibes were what you'd expect for a little diner vibe brunch spot. But unfortunately the food just didn't fit my expectations. The breakfast sandwich was highly recommended so I got it with sausage. I was sold by the server who said the bread was a fluffy brioche and was almost like a croissant. I was intrigued. But what I received was what felt like two mini previously frozen generic sausage patties, two over hard eggs, and a slice of cheese inside a regular hamburger bun, dripping with grease. My side of fruit was fine but was just generic cantaloupe, honeydew, and pineapple. Overall, I felt I could have gotten a similar breakfast sandwich from a convenience store for much less than $15. On our second visit to brunch restaurant, we were greeted with a welcoming smile by a friendly lady who guided us to our table. The atmosphere was consistently pleasant. I arrived with a hearty appetite, eager for a satisfying meal. I decided on the Sonoran Omelette with a side of pancakes. Starting with the pancakes, they were decently sweet and enjoyable. Still hungry, I moved on to my omelette where the taste of the jalapenos stood out, adding a great flavor. I had breakfast here. It's a very classic place. The 50s music reminds me of my parents. I miss them. This is a place that they probably would have enjoyed. And in my opinion, they have the best Belgian waffle in town. It was crisp on the outside perfectly shaped Lots of butter lots of syrup and nice and fluffy and inside other restaurants I've been to their Belgian waffles were always soggy not this place. Just have to say this place is a 5/5. I started with the biscuits and gravy which the flavor was amazing. The only issue was the biscuit could have been a little more crispy. The ratio of gravy to biscuit was perfect and I love that it was packaged separately. The banana bread French toast was ingenious. I have never wanted to eat more. It was a plus that my daughter ate so much of it as well. The hungry man eggs bacon sausage and potatoes were the perfect ending to a great breakfast. Between the 3 of us we ate it all. Came here based on reviews~ and knew my daughter would want the banana bread French toast- she said it did NOT disappoint. It was so thick she could only eat one piece but boxed the other to go. I ordered the English Muffin BLTA and fruit bowl. The fruit was fresh with great taste My sandwich was good also, they did NOT skimp on the bacon as is often the case. The reason for 4 stars is we ordered hot tea- it was $3.29 for a Lipton Tea bag and hot water. Yeah I'm a tea snob so for a cheaper tea to serve Celestial Tea would have been better r even Earl Grey. Knew we wanted a special breakfast, and even though it was a bit of a drive, Goody's was the right choice. It's got a simple diner kind of vibe. Very busy on this Saturday morning, so we took a seat at the breakfast bar rather than wait for a table. We'll do that again -- for it was entertaining to watch the wait staff and cook staff interact to get food to people in a very timely manner. Husband and I split the Philly Cheese Steak Skillet. It was huge, and I'm so glad we had it... and split it. It's steak (though the steak is a bit tough and certainly not the star of the show), potatoes, green peppers and onions, melted cheddar-jack cheese all top with a couple eggs. It was very hearty and tasty on this cold morning. Husband wanted a side of pancakes (that came with the sandwich), I wanted a fruit cup and was happy to pay a bit extra for it. Really enjoyed this place! The omelets were delicious. The Sonoran has their green Chile that they sell jars of and it's delicious on the omelet! A few bites of the omelet and side potatoes is a perfect brekky bite. Pop The biscuit with gravy for a side is vegetarian, which is nice! There are a few other vegetarian options as well. This place is a hidden gem in Westminster. Great place to enjoy upgraded East Coast diner food. I was stunned how delicious the chili relleno breakfast was. I've ordered it the last three times. The sleepers are the baked goods. Tops is the banana bread with cinnamon butter a close second to me was the house made biscuits with butter and honey. My friends all got egg dishes as well and loved them. The hash browns don't suck either. Key point to not: the coffee was awesome, just what I hoped for and received. The staff is awesome. Goody's is good, good!! No call ahead or online reservations, but the wait was only about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning. It's definitely a diner vibe with a small bar. Not many people are wearing masks, and honestly, that's my most negative comment. The restaurant is busy! Jo was our server, and she hustled baby! Such a nice lady. Drinks stayed full. Our food was served promptly. She took our substitutions in stride with not a single error. I had the farmhouse skillet (no meat, no egg, extra veggies) with pancakes. That skillet rocked my socks! It's crispy, perfectly cooked potatoes with fresh onion, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Hit it with a little Chalulah, and baby, you're in business! The pancakes topped with their strawberry compote shouldn't be slept on though. And my husband said the banana bread french toast was so good he wanted another order! I'd recommend this restaurant. They do not have gluten free bread alternatives and they wont substitute the pancake or english muffin sides with fresh fruit. We would have to pay separate for that.
