Good service, good people, good food. What more could you ask for in a neighborhood grill You can never go wrong here

We found North Side Tavern purely by chance when we were looking for a relaxing late lunch in Broomfield. We enjoyed our lunch so much we returned the very next day for a second lunch! First lunch, my wife went with the Chicken Tender plate subbing fries for a green salad. The tenders were just that..juicy and tender, fried to a nice golden crispy perfect. I settled on the Piggy Back Press which is their version of a cubano. Pulled pork, ham, and bacon all pressed and toasted in a nice baguette and I chose to have it with their sweet potato fries. Some of the best Sweet Potato fries I've had in a long time, the exterior was nice and crispy without being burnt, the inside was perfectly done and they stayed crispy through the entire meal, Next day we decided to return, this my wife being a cheese lover went with Colorado Cast Iron Cheese Dip adding in carnitas. Served with a basket of fresh tortilla chips, she thoroughly enjoyed her order. I went with the Tavern Burger w/sweet potato fries (they were that good) which was a Tuesday special. Burger was done well with a nice crust. I added some of the melted cheese from my wife's cheese dip and OMG that is a super combo. Overall great prices, generous portions, fast and friendly service makes this a must visit. I'd like to return at dinner to start working through their craft beer menu!

I've been here several times for dinner as it's close-by, it's a good spot to take guests with friendly service. We sat at the bar this time. Parking - there is a lot but it fills up when they're busy. Theres also some side street parking right outside. Food - Tavern burger - a bit underwhelming, the patty was pretty dry. Would skip this next time. Overall rating 3/5. Black & bleu burger - also pretty dry but was tasty with the bleu cheese. I'm 50/50 on whether I would get this again. Overall rating 3.5/5. (Previous visit) fish & chips - very good, although pricy, the fish was well cooked. Would get this again. Overall rating 4.5/5. Drinks - Mango mojito - very delicious! If you like fruity drinks, and rum, this is a great choice. Easy to drink. Would get it again.

Visiting from houston and my friend brought me here. Our waitress was very attentive and pretty funny. We started with the fried pickles. They were very good. I ordered the arugula and beet salad with grilled chicken. It was YUM! Friend ordered the piggy back press and she loved it. I recommend this place! It did not disappoint.

Real Good Food served by Real Good People. Nuff said. Glad to see not much has changed with new ownership.

From the moment we walked in and were seated at our table the service we received from Chantelle was over the top. She helped make are selections as this was the first time we were here. We ordered the Blackened Salmon BLTA and the Piggy Back Press with Sweet Potato Fries. All I can say is the food was totally delicious, the Service was Great and something you can't tell from the outside looking in, the Ambiance was from back in the day, just awesome.

I have been to North Side Tavern on several occasions and have enjoyed every visit. They have a nice menu with lots of options and they do specials during the week. Wednesdays are $.99 wings and they also do brunch on weekends! Definitely an awesome neighborhood spot!

Clam chowder was insanely salty. Meat on the French dip was gristly. Expected a lot better quality for a $25 soup/sandwich combo.

It is truly a hidden gem. We were there for a date night, but to be honest a friends night out would be the best here. There are lots of different types of spaces in this adorable gem! From intimate to communal to standard dining. We have already begun to plan our next trip.... coming from Wyoming!

Man what happened to this place…read more. Jasmine used to be my favorite bar in the area. They provided a varied menu with incredibly unique and delicious drinks with an upscale yet cozy vibe inside. However our last visit was anything but. Supposedly they've made the decision to drop the entire "old menu" as the bartender called it in favor for an uninspired and honestly boring Christmas menu with drinks that weren't even remotely on the level of their previous offerings. Yet the prices were actually higher than their standards. This current menu feels like something you'd pay $11 for at a dive or chain restaurant. After a relatively long wait for service, we ordered 3 drinks, having to repeat ourselves multiple times to the hostess that didn't seem to have any clue of what their drinks were called. Of the 3, none of them included the garnishes that were outlined in the menu, and one drink was completely wrong. We were allowed to keep it and had it replaced at no cost at least, but even the replacement did not have the correct garnish per the menu. I'm praying this place didn't sell out and it's just in some strange transition period between seasons but I won't be returning to check until some time after the new year and these awful drinks are gone. For now, go to Nora's.

I don't…read morethink we had been back since pre-COVID times, but we decided to make the extra drive because we remembered the great BBQ and food we used to get there. Boy, has this place changed. We knew the routine that this was a walk up to the bar to order food/drinks but we loved the idea of being able to order from a QR code on the table and have food and drinks delivered directly to our table. Unfortunately, the execution completely missed the mark. After placing our food & drink order, we waited several minutes with no drinks. We were about to just go to the bar ourselves when our food arrived. When we asked the food runner about the drinks, we were told, "They're busy, you might have to go to the bar to get them." That completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead through the QR system. My husband ended up standing in a very long bar line, and just as he was finally reaching the counter, our drinks finally showed up -- probably 10 minutes after the food arrived which was about 25ish minutes after placing the initial order. By then, our food was cold. The brisket sandwich had barely any actual meat on it (maybe 2oz of meat max) and was mostly inedible fat. The wings were dried out, cold, and tasted like they'd been reheated multiple times and drenched in buffalo sauce to cover it up. No one ever checked on us to see if things were okay. (They used to come around all the time) We also had to get our own utensils and condiments which we knew from previous visits, but the guy that dropped off the food made sure to tell us to bus our own table, afterwards, scrape food off dishes into the trash, and return trays and dishes to busstubs they had set out. Like I said, from our previous visits we knew this is more of a bar-service style restaurant and not full table service, but the expectation of any sort of a tip much less the 25% gratuity that was automatically generated/expected on our e-bill before actually finalizing our bill is honestly ridiculous. Other than someone dropping food at the table and a bartender opening a can of beer, there was essentially zero customer service. We ordered our own food, got our own utensils and condiments, cleaned up our own table, and still somehow were expected to tip at a level you'd expect from a full-service restaurant!? I can get the same level of service at a fast food restaurant and no one expects a 25% tip there. To top it off, the live band felt more suited for a retirement community social hour than a lively Saturday night crowd. Needless to say... in the six years it's been since we have been to the old man, we clearly have missed nothing other than its decline.
