    WILD BOAR BOLOGNESE
    Shelly J.

We were perfectly pleased with Famille this past Friday night for my birthday dinner. We had a reservation for two and were seated right on time. We shared and enjoyed the focaccia & oil and a harvest salad. My husband ordered the beef short rib and it was mouth-wateringly delicious!! I had the wild boar bolognese, which was also very good! And leftovers from both were even better the next day. I really appreciated the atmosphere of Famille. They pull off trendy, modern, and clean while also feeling comfortable and homey. The artful design was lovely to look around at. Service was good as well, no complaints there! We will certainly be back again. Would love to try brunch here!

3/10 Ambiance: if you like modern minimalistic Italian restaurant that feels less homey than a Panera bread it is great. Service: our waiter was nice but it was really slow service we waited over 20 minutes for drinks (took 10 mins to get water to our table and another 15 for drinks) Food: the French drip was really good- my fiancé got the wild bore bolognese... there was no meat to be found just a lot of pasta and light sauce. The chocolate cake for desert was really good but so thick! Side bar- the dirty martini was too dirty! I was drinking all olive juice Overall- I wouldn't go back for the $. If I was going to meet a friend at the bar for a glass of wine and bruschetta board I might return.

We met some friends for dinner at Famille this evening. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, but it quickly filled up. The space is spotless and has a fresh, newly-opened feel--even though I've heard it's actually been around for a while. Our waiter greeted us warmly and asked if we had dined there before. Since it was our first visit, he mentioned they had just rolled out a new menu. I started with the French onion soup and the grilled chicken wrap. My friends ordered the bolognese and the scallops. The chicken wrap was excellent--the chicken was tender and moist--and both the scallops and the bolognese were big hits at the table. My only complaint was with the soup: it was far too oily, with a visible layer of oil on top even halfway through. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée, chocolate cake, and pumpkin tiramisu. All three were outstanding and a perfect finish to the meal. Overall, Famille has earned a spot in our restaurant rotation. Next time, I've got my eye on the French dip!

ELEGANCE! First a Stunning factor, is one of "Seven Exquisite Restaurants and Hotels by ORIGIN HOLTELS" poignantly place around the USA, with "2" here in Colorado; Westminster (where I am a friend overly enjoyed more than 2 1/2 hours of "appetizing mouthwatering, Intensely Delicious" Gourmet food, via "Executive Chef Lindsey!!" Who has the "Graciousness of a Diplomat! And Culinary aptitude of an "Iron Chef!" Due to having a Service Dog and Famille having length wise solid booth seats, Executive Chef Lindsey had the Brilliant idea to place us in the magnificent designed - splendid Atrium. With sky high ceiling, fireplace and walled out windows to wash the drizzling ran. Thereby, our constant laughter and Service dog would not hamper others' enjoyment. My friend was brought a small round marble table to eat upon, I am my Aspen we pleasantly seated on a sink into leather sofa. This was only the beginning! I had heard of their onion Soup, and being a vegetarian Chef Lindsey warned me, "Onion Soup Broth is marinated overnight in Venison!" Riley, our most gracious and delightful attentive server, suggested Chef Lindsey's pancakes and embellished to the point I had to ask (albeit this is very uncommon food for me) "may I have ONE SMALL sample." YES was the resonant reply. And to drink Riley, "I prefer hot tea, via your choosing." I was not disappointed. Out came a Hot Peppermint Tea with Honey! This was perfection for a cool rainy Colorado day & the most Souffle air light smaller Pancake ever to caress my mouth! My eyes rolled back into my head with Glee! And onto the Venison Onion Soup: Intensely Delicious! The broth was magnificent - none I have ever experienced from Europe - South & North American, topped with a delicate gruyère cheese and most likely homemade toast. The blending was empyrean! Our Service was beyond reproach!! Then we were invited to view the hotel rooms. I almost booked a few nights, if I did not have appointments the next day in Littleton. Only these photos hopefully present justice to our delightful afternoon! Psst I wish to move in to the Hotel!!! Plus, rear Hotel/Restaurant two parking lots!!

This place was great and exceeded our expectations! The bruschetta board was so damn good, the French onion soup was super yummy... my duck was great! First time trying it and it was great. It came with puréed parsnips and Brussel sprouts and potatoes. My husband and son both got the French Dip with fries and loved it. For dessert we ordered the white chocolate raspberry creme brulee and it was amazing. The atmosphere was a good vibe and all the staff here so friendly and attentive!

Great things happen to those who wait. The Sous Chef back in 2021 is now their Executive Chef. Wohooo! It's so well deserved. I still remember their 7 hour Colorado Brown Ale Braised Lamb Shank. That was crazy delicious! And that was almost 4 years ago! @famille_westminster inside the @origin_westminster is a must stop when you're in the area. This grace the we had for dinner was dreamy to say the least. Chef Lindsey Ryan @ladyryno is right on point. Everything we had can be found on their Spring Menu that they started last week and will be around until about August. The entire menu is made from scratch and they cut their own steaks. If you noticed that this group is happy you are not wrong. Its evident. The chef is happy and the rest of the staff are too. So lots of love, care and time goes into every dish! Partnering with local producers and artisans allows us to ensure that your dining experience includes ingredients at the peak of their freshness. 4.5 Star experience, almost a perfect 5! Minus 1/2 star due to steak & potatoes a bit on the salty side. Service by Amy was spectacular! Her friendly smile, knowledge of menu and attentive service was spot on! Food was amazing and the pancake with berries & cream made our brunch complete! Steak & eggs deliciously cooked to order! Side of green chili made the perfect addition to the eggs. Mimosa was very refreshing at $10.00 a glass. Overall a wonderful dining experience and one of my new favorite places to go for brunch! Free parking a short walk away or you can pay to park out front of this Hotel/Restaurant in the heart of Westminster. The interior is very simple yet upscale and relaxing. Can't wait to return and explore the other delicious entries on the menu!

Friendly with good drinks. I ordered the French dip sandwich and it was delicious. Maybe one of best.

Well the ambiance is nice but the food was worse then the greasiest truck stop I've ever been too. It took an abnormal amount of time to get such an abysmal meal. We were the only guests! The eggs were literally swimming in grease the bacon so limp I think it oinked. The sausage also under cooked but also maybe spoiled and the potatoes were deep fried hard nuggets.

    Cauliflower Soup
    Samantha B.

Attentive waitress, and the restaurant had a good vibe. We made a reservation and it did start to fill up around 6/6:30. We were too full for dessert from the good-sized portions. The cauliflower soup was my favorite part of the meal. Would eat here again, seems like a good place for a special occasion dinner

The bread was baked to perfection - crunchy but soft all at the same time. My friend got the salmon, cooked to medium and I got the Jamaican jerk chicken which was not very spicy and contained a lot of flavor. The mango chutney and green mojo combo was complex and paired well with the chicken. My friend devoured she salmon so one can only assume it was delicious! Marta took cared of us and did a splendid job. We really appreciated her recommendations and looked to her for advice on the dessert menu as it was extensive. The steak was cooked to perfection with just right amount of seasoning. I didn't need any additional sauce but I heard the blue cheese crust and the bone marrow butter were both amazing, really added to their steaks. Most of us ordered the 10oz Wagyu New York. One of my favorite sides was the truffle frites that looked more like potato cubes, fried to perfection, so crispy and tasty. We also ordered the whipped potatoes and broccolini, also very good. The mood lighting is definitely adding to the upscale-ness of the restaurant, we were seated next to a cozy fireplace. Forgot to mention, we really loved the fried alligator and the beef Wellington bites as appetizers. The escargot was delicious but the snails were small without shells. Love that they added a small piece of pie crust or phyllo dough on top of the escargot to pick up the herb butter. The only thing, if I must complain, was the water. It reminded me a little bit like the swimming pool water, maybe it's PH balanced and my peasant palate was not used to it but our whole crew picked it up. The water at another fancy steak place was similar experience, so not sure if it was a steakhouse theme or just driving ppl to order other beverages... either way, it wasn't bad enough to take away a star, but be forewarned on the bleach-y water. The house made cheesecake, the crème brûlée, the biscoff mouse were all super tasty! Want to come back to check out their most ordered lava cake. We split the 20oz ribeye steak and had the garlic whipped mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. We had ordered the steak medium well but I feel that it was well done when we got it. The sides we ordered were great! We did order the truffle butter to go along with the steak (additional $7) which was ok. The steak itself was ok. It wasn't anything to bash about. We ordered the Nutella triangles for dessert and it was too sweet for me, very odd for me to say since I have a huge sweet tooth! Our waiter checked on us a couple of times. It wasn't that busy but it seemed that service was a bit slow. As far as pricing, I do think it's overpriced for what it is. There are 5 other steakhouses that I think have better quality and are not as expensive as here.

The server was bragging about how nice and "not tough" the octopus is, so we made sure to get that for an appetizer. But it came plated a little sloppy, and I felt it to be pretty tough (not chewy), just tough. But the steaks were a highlight! We shared the filet flight. All three were very very good. One person at our table was vegan, and they catered to her very well. Her entree of a vegan risotto was actually the most beautiful plate on the table, and had some excellent flavors! The duck fat fries earn an honorable mention. They have some sugar on them, so they're sweet-- very interesting, but delicious. All in all, I had a great time, and the service pushed it over the edge. And the food was very well done, too. I'll be back here for dinner, annually, but back for happy hour more often. Thanks & Cheers! And see you next time!

There's always going to be that guy in shorts and berks. Gnocchi was THE BEST! Little puffy clouds of heaven. I've literally never had a better gnocchi. Brussels perfectly crispy. Ribeye so tender. Asparagus was large and yet had the same crunch with every bit. Potato Pave was a first and a recommendation from our server, did not disappoint! We shared the wedge salad and they chopped and put on separate plates before bringing it out, talk about service! I could have ordered this 10x over. Every ingredient just tastes so fresh. Not only was the food to die for, our server, Arthur, was 10/10! He was the sweetest and gave the best recommendations. Let us take our time and didn't rush us out the door which was really appreciated. Our reservation was for 7:30 and I didn't see valet outside so we ended up parking in the parking garage close by. The restaurant does not validate your parking ticket if you park in the garage. I'm not sure if it's complimentary valet.

There may be short waits during busy hours, but you can always book a wait time ahead. When you walk in, pay attention to all the championship belts on the wall. One of the kitchen guys won all of those. And you can tell in every steak you get. And the rest of the staff is stellar as well. I've been on occasions when they've had corporate trainers in there showing people from other places how it's done. You will always see managers out checking on everything, and bartenders like Wendy will set the experience apart from your typical chains. The entire place is roomy, comfortable, and welcoming. You can pop in for a quick bite. Or relax and enjoy your meal The quality and value are unmatched. Everything on the menu is excellent, but I strongly suggest the steak, specifically the ribeye and prime rib. Also, personal preference, but I like the rolls with regular butter if I get them before/with the meal, and the cinnamon butter if it is after.

It's definitely not worth the 40 min wait and I recommend you go to the grocery store and pick up a steak and season it yourself. Everything we ordered from the fire bloom to the pickles to the steak and the sides were super salty. The baked potato was rolled on with salt. It's too much sodium. My tongue felt like it just swam in the ocean. The salad was probably the best part after the rolls to take a cleanse from the power of the salt. Texas Roadhouse is not a place for a first date or if you're sensitive to noise. Someone every 15 min was celebrating a birthday so it does get quite loud.
