I love Texas Roadhouse. I think you get a great meal at a great price. Typically, we get great service and have no issues. We went in yest around 1:00 for my son's birthday and our experience left me unsure that I'll return. Our server seemed experienced but wasn't attentive. I ordered a side that didn't come out with my meal & it took her so long to check in on us I was almost done with my meal before getting my side. Never asked to refill our drinks, and one of the meals was missing part of it. She left in such a rush when she was there that we didn't have time to ask her for additional items. The steak was good but the quality of the food has declined drastically. The shrimp was mushy, the salad had several bad pieces of lettuce, and overall, it was just a negative experience for what we paid. read more

It's definitely not worth the 40 min wait and I recommend you go to the grocery store and pick up a steak and season it yourself. Everything we ordered from the fire bloom to the pickles to the steak and the sides were super salty. The baked potato was rolled on with salt. It's too much sodium. My tongue felt like it just swam in the ocean. The salad was probably the best part after the rolls to take a cleanse from the power of the salt. Came here on a Saturday at 3 pm and it was still packed. When we left about an hr later it was even more packed with a line out the door. I guess everybody loves their bread, which is amazing. It's so good! But everything else is just ok. I guess people come here because there's no way you can beat a $25 decent steak. I've never been to this location and it seems to be a good one. Just left this place and I wanted to make sure I posted why I haven't been back in over two years. Sat down and ordered the prime rib, medium rare, wife ordered her fillet my kids placed their orders. So the kid came out and took the order, again I ordered myself the prime rib. He proceeds to argue with me and let me know that he would've asked me if I wanted horseradish with my prime rib if I actually ordered prime rib. So I guess the customer is always wrong. I did see him mention to the manager or whoever was in charge on the floor something about it before he came back to me to argue about what I requested in my order. Then the manager just casually walked by and said everything good and I said ya and he just kept rolling. Like I said, I don't like to complain and return food at restaurants, but I would like to be acknowledged on what I ordered versus what I was given. Also, while we were waiting for our food, we were seated near the bathrooms, about two tables away and the table closest to the bathroom door had 6 high school boys come in and sit down. Not too strange in itself that high school boys were eating out at a restaurant together. After they get their waters or whatever they ordered to drink 3 boys from the table all stood up and decided they were gonna use the bathroom together, which was odd. After a little while a restaurant worker, either a bus boy, cook or server comes out and the three boys are right behind him. They sit down and one of the boys dumped a handful of pills into one of the other boys hand that were at that table. So I guess this is where the local high schoolers go to get their drugs. The steaks are always good and usually cooked how you order them. The sides are minimal to choose from. The best part of the meal is the peanuts and the bread! We went here for my sons 21th birthday. They have a very cool menu and decent prices. I ordered the filet mignon medallions and unfortunately they were chewy and hard. The salmon we ordered was actually decent but everything else like the vegetables and the green beans just didn't feel fresh and it just felt like they were passing out food with no real pride in making it. Very disappointed that I asked for a medium rare steak, had to send it back the first time because it was very well done, then the second one came and on the first cut it seemed alright, but I ended up taking it home and when I cut into it in the middle it was again very well done... I've been on occasions when they've had corporate trainers in there showing people from other places how it's done. You will always see managers out checking on everything, and bartenders like Wendy will set the experience apart from your typical chains. The entire place is roomy, comfortable, and welcoming. You can pop in for a quick bite. Or relax and enjoy your meal The quality and value are unmatched. This night was one of the worst nights to come. We were celebrating one of my godson's 8th birthday. Even though we had reservations it happened to be PROM. haha. Well though they had our reservations we had to wait about 30 minutes because people at a table fit us wouldn't leave. I believe on busy nights they should institute a reasonable time limit per table as hot pot restaurants do. It was my first time at this location and it was busy busy busy on a Monday night at 5:30pm. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was super yummy. Perhaps a touch on the salty side, but I didn't mind it. Mashed potatoes were good and so was the house salad. My man enjoyed his steak and it was pretty tasty too! Last night I stopped in at 4:30 to order a dozen of these tasty rolls for my family. When I approached the window for carry out orders, I saw a sign stating that the use of the app or website to order was preferred. I went on my phone and ordered as requested, though this process did seem to take a lot longer than going to the window and ordering. After placing my order, I was surprised to be quoted 15 minutes because with the bread being served to every table, you would think they always have some on hand. I finally got the text that my food was ready almost 1/2 hour later. I don't believe I am too out of line to say that this is too long to have to wait for bread. I will start by saying that I love Texas Roadhouse (in Arvada) and it is one of my favorite restaurants. We decided to eat at this location since we were in the area. The quality of the food is clearly not consistent between restaurants. I was excited to come here for my birthday with our family whom we had not seen in a while. We got there and were seated within 5 minutes, which was nice since there were a ton of people waiting outside to be called in. Our server was really great the whole time. TR emailed me a free birthday appetizer to use, so we ordered the Rattlesnake Bites, which we had not had before. They were slightly crunchy on the outside and perfectly warm, cheesy, and gooey on the inside. They had the perfect amount of spice to them as well. I ordered a house salad as one of my sides, and it was probably one of the best salads I have ever had. I could have just made that my meal. Unfortunately, that is where the enjoyment of our meal ended. All 5 of us ordered steaks and not one of them was cooked right. 2 of us ordered ours medium and they came out very rare. My boyfriend ordered his rare and it came out medium well. My boyfriend just gave me half of his 11-ounce steak and I gave him my whole 6-ounce steak. I got maybe 3 bites of his because it was so incredibly stringy, tendony, and impossible to cut through. I probably should have just ordered new steaks, but we were under a time constraint and the restaurant was so busy as is. Nobody at our table finished their steaks, which normally does not happen. The ribs that I got with my order were just ok. I had a few bites of them and just ended up giving them to my boyfriend. He ate one and did not want the rest either.
