Last time I had Postinos was for an event for Yelp during the pandemic where we'd go do a pick up for 4 bruschettas... Finally had the opportunity to come by to their new north westy location and I was blown away. You cannot get a good happy hour anymore in the environment we are in but Postino delivers. No happy hour food and the portion is a little smaller than I remembered but the food was so tasty and the service was top notch. We came in on a Friday afternoon and was served by Jennai, Walter, and Majic! All three were so so amazing and attentive. Jennai recommended so many tasty things we cannot refuse - except for goat cheese - not her fault but my own. We had a couple bottles and a couple food options. I highly highly recommend their happy hour, can't beat a $6 glass of wine or $24 a bottle! Anywho, come check them out, food is yum, music is great, service is top notch and the pricing is on point. 11:00 am Sunday morning reservation for six adults and two children. We were seated immediately drinks were ordered and in our hands in short order. Mimosas and Bloody Marys were both decent, nothing spectacular, which was fine. We ordered 4 Bruschetta Boards, a Classic Remix, a What The French, a Kids Grilled Cheese, and a Kids "Picnic". All meals were excellent, served hot, and of a perfect size. Everything was consumed at the restaurant. The Classic Remix consisted of scrambled eggs, homemade tater tots, and sausage. The tots were crispy and the sausage was mild. The What the French was torn up pieces of French toast covered with a honey based sauce. The Bruschetta Boards provided a full assortment of the items offered. The favorite was the Sweet & Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese. The kids enjoyed their meals as well. The Picnic is nice as it's just sliced chicken, grapes, and apples. They ate it all! We finished with two orders of Donut Dots which is donut holes that are deep fried a little longer to make them a little crispy in a good way. Dipping sauces are provide; chocolate, vanilla, and carmel. Great service was provided by Aleia and supported by other staff members. A return trip is definitely needed. read more

I have got to say that Postino has probably one of the best happy hours in Colorado. Anytime before 5pm everyday you can get a glass of wine or a small pitcher of craft beer for $6. The service was also very quick even with how busy it was. I will definitely keep coming back to Postino, especially because this location is so close to my place. read more

Postino Lohi had always been my go to for happy hour deals, but I love this location and will most likely switch to this one. Love the convenient parking and the tall ceilings! Plus it is close to the same distance. Their $6 before 5pm every day is the best happy hour deal I have seen. I get the Stagedive wine, my husband gets the pitchers of beer. On mondays they also run a $25 bottle of wine and brushetta deal, which I plan on taking them up on soon as well. Service is always friendly and prompt, and I love the mid century decor. Stopped here for a girls day lunch and it was the perfect spot. Despite being super busy we were seated right away and service was flawless. Plenty of options to choose from and everything tasted great. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to eat that pleases everyone but this sure did. We will all be back for sure. This is a cute spot with plenty of easy parking and a good menu. My friend ordered a few appetizers which she enjoyed, and I ordered the soup and salad combo. The soup of the day was minestrone, and it was definitely the worst minestrone I've ever had. It was filled with mostly little cubed white potatoes in a light flavorless broth. The salad nearly made up for it. It was hearty and delicious. We sat at the bar on the end near the door, so it was pretty chilly with the door opening often. This might be the classiest place that my wife and I go. We always feel special, very well taken care of and its a very nice place. The food is always spot on - we usually get a bruscetta place and the "table cheese" for the two of us. Again, it is spectacular. We go back from time to time and - frankly - try to duplicate the bruscetta for guests that come to our house - its that good. Absolutely go - make a reservation. My husband and I visited the Westminster location yesterday. While the drinks and charcuterie board were good, the meatballs we had ordered looked completely undercooked. We had ate a couple already but we didn't cut inside them until a few in. I asked our waitress and she asked her manager who said it is supposed to look that way due to the tomato sauce they marinate it in and did nothing about it. After my husband and I saw how undercooked they were, we just left the rest of the meatballs. I simply do not believe that it is the marinade. It very clearly looked completely pink in the middle. What a joke and disappointing experience. I called this place two weeks prior to our visit and they accepted a 3pm reservation for 7 people on the patio. This was an important day celebrating my partner's 40th birthday. They reserved a table for four. Luckily there was an open two top next to it that we were able to slide over. We had to ask multiple staff a few times for a 7th chair, and finally after standing around waiting five minutes, I went to find one at another table. The sun was shining directly at our faces when we sat down. The lone server staffed on this patio of over a dozen tables, clearly overworked and overwhelmed, was standing right there but barely acknowledged us as we sat down and asked him if we can open the shade behind our table. We all ordered drinks and he then brought the whole order, except the pitcher of beer, informing us the keg is tapped for the orange witbier. So we asked for a Pilsner, and waited for 15 minutes while this lone server went around the whole patio taking orders. I went to the bar to try to get the pitcher myself, and a smug little man with an early 2000's pencil beard goatee and a Beatles hairdo smirked and said I must order through a server. First time in my life that a bar won't serve a paying customer. Unreal. So I had to wait another 10 minutes. Most everyone was done with their first drink by then and I had nothing to toast with as everyone else gave up waiting. At about 4pm, the sun was shining on the large tinted glass above the front door and blinding those sitting on the side facing the building. It's truly a poorly designed building, and they need more staff. Pick your seat carefully. read more

What a lovely Thursday night outing! I'm a huge fan of Postino & this one is right on par with the others, maybe even better. Exterior is really well done. Dog - friendly patio. Lots of parking. Interior is also really well done. Great natural light. Beautiful, vibrant decor. It feels more lively than the other locations. Nice bathrooms. Everything was very clean. Host was kind and got us into our seats quickly. Our server Jackson was extremely attentive. All of our food arrived quickly. Bruschetta board was a smash hit. The goat cheese and pepper jam one is always my fave. French onion #2. Elote & prosciutto tied after that. You really can't go wrong on any of the bruschetta flavors. Crispy cauliflower is a full head of cauliflower. I love the way that they do this! The outer edge has a light crispy layer, but you still get the vegetable texture and flavor. And you don't end up with greasy cauliflower wings. Sweet potato wedges were perfectly cooked. I have a lot of appreciation for restaurants that can pull off simple menu items like these. We finished with the donuts. They're made with ricotta so they are SO fluffy. Comes with three sauces - chocolate, caramel, vanilla glaze. Yum!! Pricing is super reasonable. This review is in reference to Yelp Elite's Week at Postino Westminster. This Postino's location is super cute with great parking. As a part of the Yelp Experience, I was able to try out the Bruschetta appetizer and wine. This review will focus on the bruschetta board since I am currently not drinking. The Bruschetta board had a great presentation value, and I love that they have you select four different bruschetta flavors for the appetizer. We had the burrata, salami, goat & jam, and prosciutto. Came here on a rainy Monday night thinking it'd be empty, but apparently everyone else in Westminster had the same idea because this place was packed. Clearly Postino is the "Netflix on a rainy day" equivalent, but with bread and wine. Respect. Didn't catch our waitress's name but she was sweet, patient, and guided me through my "which carbs pair best with which wine" crisis. Ended up with a glass of moscato (sweet wine gang rise up), a bruschetta board, and a potato leek soup. The soup was solid but nothing groundbreaking, just a nice side to have for the cold rainy evening. The bruschetta though? Life-changing. The sweet + spicy jam with goat cheese was my favorite, definitely recommend giving that one a try. The others (prosciutto and fig, chef's choice which was Mexican street corn, and bacon/tomato) were pretty standard imo. Atmosphere was moody, dark, and chill like if a wine bar and a speakeasy had a baby. Perfect for rainy-night vibes. She suggested options and explained the flavors and ingredients of each offering. The Italian Beef Dip Panini was full of warm slices of roast beef, cheese and fresh greens. The focaccia was perfectly toasted and warm. The Au jus dip was added just the right touch to the panini. The cream of tomato and basil soup was delivered hot and perfectly seasoned. What a great new addition to the area. Postinos is easily hands down one of the best experiences for any first comer if you enjoy small bites, wine/beer and bruschetta! We had our first Postino's experience back in the Woodlands, Texas and we were blown away and not realizing that one was coming to Westminster! We got there at around noon on Friday and it was busy! Knowing it just opened and the amount of people that would have gone next door to Lazy Dog for lunch time makes sense. We were told about a 25 minute wait but only waited five minutes! I'll tell you the interior and the infrastructure of this building was meant for the best design for the Restarant. Has a patio, nice wrap around bar that wraps to the outdoor patio area. The kids menu is awesome too, our kid got the Picnic kids item which was a great portion for him and he ate all of it! We decided to go with the cheese board and the bruschetta board choosing our 4 bruschettas as the tomato mozzarella and basil, prosciutto and fig, salami and pesto, and Brie apple and fig spread! She didn't make eye contact with us or any new customers that walked in for an extensive amount of time- all you need to do is say hi, smile, and say you'll be with us when you can if you are overly busy. Most people are very patient but when you purposely avoid people, it makes them feel awkward. Then when taking order, we ordered drinks and when started to say food - said she has "4 other drink orders to take and will be back to take food order". Wife and I just relocated from Honolulu to Colorado and we were excited to try many of the great restaurants in our area. We are huge fans of wine and charcuterie boards, Postino's looked like it would meet both of those needs! We arrived on a Sunday evening, the place was crowded but we were fortunate to only wait a few minutes before being seated. Loved the service. We went with the Chef's Charcuterie Board and the Skewers appetizer. We debated ordering the crispy cauliflower but held as our server said their portions were generous and we could add on later, glad she told us because it was ample enough for our dinner. The board was awesome, the whipped feta and humus were delicious! The skewers was a mix of chicken and filet served over great yogurt sauce. Of course we had partake in some of their fine beverages. The hosts, our server, and other staff who helped with delivering our food and clearing plates were all friendly and attentive. We went out to celebrate but left feeling disappointed. From the start, the host seated us and reminded us at least three times that our table was booked at 6:30, which made us feel rushed. The drinks were good, but the food was a letdown. There was barely any cheese on the bread, and the hot donut holes came as just five small pieces, one of which was flat and not properly cooked. Throughout the meal, servers and managers kept hovering around our table in an uncomfortable way, making us feel like we were being closely watched and pressured to finish quickly and leave. We ended up taking some things to go. It's disappointing to have this experience, especially considering the restaurant has only been open for six days. Person seating was nice and seemed overwhelmed. It was so loud and hot, with late staff and a wait list. We felt for them and they were very kind, considering. We sat for almost 10 minutes with no water or greeting. Numerous staff looked at us and just looked away. Not one offered water or even said someone would be there soon. No manager supporting the staff or greeting customers. One table had their food but had been waiting for water. We watched two espresso martinis come to our table three times, by three different people, and watched all of them go to multiple tables trying to find who they were for. Watched them continue to return to the bar with them. Only to come to our table again. Once staff came they were helpful and explained they were waiting for the next server. Very knowledgeable of the wines. Enthusiastic. Good personality. We got 4 of "Bruschetta" and were very disappointed. The bread was not crostini, not as bruschetta is supposed to look. Was dry white American bread. Barely any Brie with the apples and too much fig spread. Flavors were very mismatched. The tomatoes were abundant. But couldn't get past the dry white bread. When we asked the new server about the bread, they said they had worked there for a year and it was always that bread labeled as crostini. Please go on the internet and see Bruschetta and crostini. Or find a recipe book. This is not that. It was awful. Everyone seems to be excited about $6 wines which should never be more than that given they are mostly retail max $17 bottles. Retail. Don't worry. We won't be back. Glad for you it was busy. But we felt bland, loud, and unremarkable. And yes. We eat good Italian. We like variety. Postino always delivers! I went for friend's birthday party. We had a group of ten that evening and yet our server handled the group effortlessly. I had an aperol spritz which was perfect. It was busy as usual, but everything still was delivered with care and correctly. It was the first time a few people had been to Postino too. I think they left with a smile on their face after trying many of the different options at Postino. The wine always delivers too. I have been to several Postino locations but this one is my new favorite! I love the location. I've been here twice and I've had excellent service each time. With reservations I was seated promptly and everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful. What's better than a board and a bottle on a Saturday? Maybe some snacky things too. But definitely go and pick your favorite bruschetta board! The location has a great patio and the inside restaurant is nice and open. The restaurant definitely seats a lot and it can feel a little close with other patrons but not too stuffy overall. I already want to go back and enjoy a good bottle with some great food. read more

This is Postino's 6th location in the Denver Boulder area. They opened last week. I came to try the new bruschetta in this summers challenge. I sat at the bar. Kylie T took my drink order for The Mockingbird zero proof drink. She said the kitchen staff is trying to keep up with the regular menu, so no bruschetta challenge. My zero proof drink had Lyre's dark cane & Italian orange soda with pineapple and almond bitters. A great summer beverage. I ordered a Tuscan Tuna panini on focaccia bread with a side of homemade tots. Lots of tuna and crispy tots with a aioli based dipping sauce. A great lunch. This was our first time at Postino's and it was exceptional. The Boards offer a variety of choices. We chose the Trio and loved the taste of the lemon-garlic feta, as well as the hummus. The Caesar salad with shrimp skewers was excellent, the lettuce crisp and shrimp perfect. Our server, Halle, was always present, making this experience truly unique. I'll return here often! I do really like this place but we have had some weird experiences with ordering drinks from the hostesses and then the people manning the bar shunning us from from where we can can stand/be while we wait. First of all, I would like to state that I am a HUGE fan of the entire Postino brand. You can't go wrong with food or drink at their locations. We love the location near us, and checked out this new location. The bartenders were welcoming and efficient right off the bat. All of the Postino's have this incredible happy hour, and the pitcher of craft beer for $7 (I typically do the Hazy Little Thing but you do you) is one of the best deals in the area. Wife had the wine, and they always have a great and very unique selection. We walked in already knowing the menu, and we started with one of their ringers, the bruschetta. Have your own fun finding your favorites, but we had to try the recent bracket winner, the Mexican street corn. Solid, but the French Onion one is slowly winning our hearts. I just usually rotate through their great food, but I did the West Coaster with tomato soup for this trip. I am also a big fan of the grilled cheese, shakshuka, the Nine Iron, and someday I will try the always delicious sounding French Toast. The West Coaster sandwich is always solid, but their soup is somehow basic, but unique, if that makes any sense. I had trouble with the WIFI as a heads up to Verizon folks, but could have just been a weird day for my phone. We had a great experience here overall. I only give it a 4, as it is easy to give great service when the first people come in, but our service level dropped off a lot when they got busier. They also have a wine club that gets you good wine and an occasional free glass every few months.
