For Mothers Day, I had originally made a reservation for 4. Then our plans changed and I had to cancel. Then they changed again and I called at 5:00pm explaining I had canceled but could they accommodate the 4 of us last minute. No problem. We were greeted and sat right away, our server was friendly and attentive. Even though it was filling up quickly, we didn't feel rushed. While our food was good, was it the best Italian we've ever had? No, but honestly it's rare to find really really good Italian these days. Regardless of that, we enjoyed our meal and enjoyed our time. Parking situation: the restaurant is located in a busy mall/street mall area. There's street parking closer but mostly parking is mall parking with a little bit of a walk. $$$$ - on the higher end. Garlic bread, 4 meals (3/4 were half portion), a glass of wine and 1 dessert was $140 not including tip. Just plan accordingly. read more

Biggest problem I have was the check. They tacked on 20% for a party of 6. That's absurd. Second, they charged tip on the tax. That is revenue the server did not earn. My total was $140 so the tip $28. I was over charged $3.36. No wonder your restaurant is empty. You nickel and dime the customer to death. Bucatino's in Lafayette is much better. read more

If you order the Colorado Chicken Parm be prepared to have your plate look like this! Wow

Sorry folks, but this is not an Italian restaurant. It's more like a food court eatery. No eggplant, no veal, no pizza and meatballs that should be called 'bread balls'. The bread basket had something in it, I'd call crusty white bread! The menu could fit on a five by ten card and the food, we had, was mediocre at best. The wine glasses had the minimum amount possible above calling them samples. Very disappointing. Also the check has a 3% service charge, another way of padding your bill! And the tip percent is calculated on the after tax and service is added on?? The reason for the two stars is that the service staff was great and the desert was good. Italian restaurant...NO way!! read more

Beautiful interior with comfortable seating. This place is definitely on the costlier side, one plate was roughly $45-50. Sadly my meal was lacking flavor, but the affogato was delicious. The service was friendly and quick. read more

Lots of employees, high school girls focused on their phones and filling cheese containers, more than service. Drinks ran dry and we didn't get menus until we asked. We were there an hour before closing and it wasn't busy. Manager didn't seem to notice us needing service either despite sitting at a table in the middle of the restaurant. Food was fine but wouldn't return due to mid service. read more

I would not necessarily recommend dining with Asti D'Italia. It is hard to write as the staff could not have been kinder and more attentive! They were really great, however the lower rating is due to my opinion of the quality of the food comparative to the price. The average cost of a pasta dish with protein was $40, which I believed to be excessive for "non-homemade" pasta dishes. read more

I would like to give Asti five stars, but it just wasn't there on our last visit. We invited friends along who are vegetarians. The menu says at the top corner that a vegetarian menu is available on request. When we ask for one, we were told they don't really have them. They just take the meat off other entrées on the regular menu, but charge you the same price. Huh?! Our friends solved the problem by ordering items that are naturally vegetarian, of which there are very few on the menu, instead of paying full price and receiving something less than what another diner might receive who ordered the same item. Mr. Manager, this does not make sense and only irritates your vegetarian customers! read more

Asti d'Italia is absolutely amazing! It feels like stepping into a cozy little restaurant tucked away in Italy. The wine selection is fantastic, the martinis are spot on, and the food is truly to die for. The service matches the vibe...warm, welcoming, and perfectly paced. Small, quaint, and intimate... it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger over every bite. Love this place! read more

The food was excellent, the staff were lovely and charming with the 3-year old who was with us. Vegetarian menu was a bit limited, but they were able to accommodate the vegan. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars was that the food took a long time to come out after our order. However everything was hot, and all 7 of us were served at the same time. read more

We stopped here on a Sunday night to celebrate my birthday. There were only two other tables besides ours. The service was on point and although Amy appeared to be the only one working front of house she provided amazing service. She was knowledge and kind and very attentive. The ambiance was nice, I really liked the decor and the music. The only downside was that the AC was out so we had to sit in the far back of the restaurant where it was cooler. I had the light white wine flight which was amazing and I ultimately decided on a glass of the Tuscan Blend to go with my entree. For appetizers my husband chose the Parmesan garlic bread which was to die for. It came with two large pieces of fresh crusty bread with amazing garlic flavor and lots of ooey gooey melty cheese. The marinara that came with the bread was absolutely incredible. I chose the polenta bruschetta as my appetizer and it was fresh and delicious - the perfect start to the meal. My husband chose the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. He said the pasta was good but that the grilled chicken was a bit dry. I chose the chicken orecchiette which was a large portion of perfectly cooked pasta, savory sauce, and roasted chicken served piping hot. My only complaint was the large pieces of sun-dried tomato that I chose to pick around. I also wish I would've asked to have the mushrooms left out but that was my mistake not the kitchen. When Amy noticed I hadn't eaten the mushrooms she was very apologetic and let me know that most entrees could be adapted and to make sure I asked for no mushrooms next time which I found really thoughtful. For dessert I chose the gelato affogato which was the perfect end to our meal. When Amy found out we were celebrating my birthday she said it was on the house which was a nice surprise. My husband chose the chocolate temptation cake which was a large enough portion for us to split and it came with a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of butter pecan gelato which were both creamy perfection. We left stuffed and content and we hope to be able to come back and try some of the other items and drinks on the menu. read more

We had a pretty disappointing experience here. Our server was the only one working the floor on a Sunday night, which clearly wasn't their fault, but it meant we only saw them a couple of times and they seemed very overwhelmed and rushed. Service took over two hours for just two of us, even though we ordered everything the first time the server came by. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, and it was underwhelming -- honestly, I've had better Italian food at Olive Garden. What made it more frustrating was that what appeared to be the manager or owner was only seen on the floor once. When we left, he was sitting in the corner with a glass of wine playing cards while the server was still clearly struggling to keep up. Between the long wait times, lack of support for staff, and the quality of the food, it just wasn't worth it. I do feel for the server, since they were put in a tough situation, but overall the experience was frustrating and not one I'd repeat. read more

Get your carb cravings satisfied at Asti D'Italia. Parking (5/5): Situated in a mall, you won't have difficulty finding parking at all. The benefit of the restaurant getting situated in a mall is once you fill up with your favorite dishes, taking a walk around the mall helps you burn it all off. Ambiance (4.5/5): The place was clean and quite spacious. The overall mood was very warm and comfortable. While the ambiance felt very refined, it felt like something was missing, potentially more character. Service (5/5): Our server was friendly and informative. Even though the restaurant had given us a heads up that service may be slow because they were quite busy, I didn't feel like my needs were ignored. Food (5/5): - Classic Chicken Parmigian: Wooooow, the portion was huge so be prepared. The dish was sooo good; however, I wished I was able to finish it. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned perfectly with the cheese on top making it a fantastic pairing with the linguine. The marinara was slightly tart with the perfect blend of seasoning. I would definitely be back to grab that again. - Fried Mozzarella: You really can't go wrong with Mozzarella sticks... pairing the mozzarella with the marinara sauce was a great palette stimulator for the main entrée. - Crab Cakes: I actually didn't try this dish but it looked pretty good. The crab cakes were bite-sized and looked a little on the burnt side. Gnocchi: The Gnocchi was tasty but a tad on the softer side, it was missing that slight chewy side for me. The flavors of the sauce was good Heads on on the appetizers: some of the portions are on a smaller side so plan for that if you're a larger party. I rarely go out for Italian food and pasta so the next time I'm out for that, I'll for sure use Asti D'Italia as a benchmark. If you're going for an energy booster after a long day of walking around the mall, do make a stop at Asti D'Italia! read more

Seriously good food! I am a New York ex-pat of Italian descent and I'm picky about my Italian food. This place does it right. The Chicken Parmesan is one of the best I've had in the area. And their wine list is second to none. The owner has visited most of the vineyards personally and it shows. You can't go wrong with any of the wines on the list. Oh, and not like it's an afterthought, but the service is truly amazing. read more

We came back here recently for the first time in years and I remembered why we are not regulars here. The food is good but the prices are way too high for what you get. Portions are small - definitely not enough share. If the prices were a little more reasonable, we would eat here more often. read more

It was ok. My date ordered a pricey cocktail that truly tasted like toilet cleaner, otherwise things tasted fine. But for the price? Meh. We spent a lot and I was barely full. Service was ok --tho I noticed my server going to the "bar" area and making our cocktails herself? Weird. read more

See the owner harass a woman and leave a note on her car about parking in the EV parking spot. She stated she did it on accident as the EV sign was not right in front of the spot. Overall I was not impressed with the food and felt that Asti D'Italia was very overpriced. They're trying to be an upscale modern Italian place you'd expect in the city but they're located in the suburbs and their food isn't very good to begin with. Additionally, their online menu is outdated and the prices are even higher on the actual menu then priced online just FYI if you're trying to plan ahead. I got the Penne with Italian Sausage Ragu and was quiet underwhelmed. The food was pretty bland and unexciting especially for the price. If you're looking to pay high prices for food that isn't that great then by all means give this place a try, otherwise I'd suggest looking elsewhere. read more

First time coming to this restaurant and I'll be back. I had the buffalo lasagna and it was excellent. Just the right amount of cheese, sauce, and meat. Very well balanced and nice and toasted on the top. The wine selection and sevixr was great. read more

Food... boring. Sad to say. Restaurant is clean and staff extremely kind. Location prime near shops and theater. However... the food isn't anything to write home about. The spaghetti marinara was so bland the seven year old wouldn't eat it. The fettuccine Alfredo was good. (Not great but good). The crab cakes were tiny-over cooked- and served with tartar sauce that tasted like it came out of a jar. Shrimp and angel hair pasta was bland. Buffalo lasagna dry with the same boring-bland marinara. Pesto gnocchi was good, except the tomatoes rendered the pesto mute. Happy to recommend this place for wine and dessert. The desserts were fantastic, and the wine was fabulous. Otherwise... our group's general reaction was, "Well... we tried it." ...we won't be back. read more

Just wanted to give a heads-up from a customer who has previously enjoyed eating at Asti D' Italia. My family ate there on December 21, 2021, party of 3. There were a few problems, all unfortunately with my dish. I ordered linguine marinara with chicken which was a disappointment. Meal was watery, linguine was not properly drained which ruined the sauce. Service was not timely, waiter was taking care of other tables payments which I would think was not as important. Waited about 10 minutes for Parmesan cheese. By the time it arrived the dish was cold. The chicken was grilled, but was obviously for another dish, chicken caprese, was prepared in balsamic. That was not tasty in the linguine and marina, chicken should have been just grilled. I ate it, but will have second thoughts on returning.. For a $150 I expected better. Hopefully it improves read more

The duck confit gnocchi is my favorite dish. It's so good and well prepared! I also love that they never shy away from a drink request if they have the ingredients to make it. I love to pair duck with the sweetness of a manhattan or a Cabernet Savignon. I love this restaurant it's five star style on a 4 star budget. The staff is sweet and fun! Stopped in randomly with a few friends for lunch not realizing the price or fanciness. Was not dressed at all appropriately for the ambiance, however the service was still incredibly on point. Really appreciated not feeling like my outfit affected my service. Our waiter did an amazing job with answering questions, refilling waters, and being attentive without being overly crowding, and allowing our group to just talk. I ordered the Chicken Orrecchiette and it was AMAZING. The menu is on the pricier side of things, but the food quality and service made it known why it was priced that way. Will definitely be coming back, but for a date night or event where I'm not in athletic shorts haha. read more

We will not be back. For how much we paid I am pretty disappointed. Wayyy to expensive for our experience. Came to celebrate my birthday on a Monday. We were one of three tables there and service was still awful. For the second half of dinner we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. There were 3-4 teenagers working and they seemed more interested in talking and hanging out then taking care of their guests. From the start they seemed bothered that we were there and ready to us to leave so they could too. The food was okay. But we left hungry which should not be the case after spending $70 for two entrees and "bread". $4 for bread service And it's a single loaf squished down flat and cut into 6 pieces. Not only was the heat on way too high in the restaurant making it very uncomfortable but we were barely attended to the entire time we were there. We waiting around for 10-15 mins to see anyone to ask for more water and Bread and We sat at our table after we finished eating for about 25 minutes and not a single person came and asked us if we needed anything or a box or the check. We just sat there ....sweating. Sad we spent my birthday dinner here. If there was an adult around I would have chatted with them about our experience cause it was pretty bad. read more

I looked at yelp reviews after getting seated and got worried. Thankfully, Yelp was wrong for once! The service was quick, our server was very nice and attentive. I enjoyed the soup of the day (Cheesy Potato), the fresh Bread, and the Penne with Sausage, all was great! I asked for a Raspberry Cosmo, also amazing. For Italian I don't think the prices are high. It came out about $40 for an alcoholic drink, soda, soup, bread and Pasta Entree. Seems pretty standard to me. read more
