We had great service, food and beverages. I didn't catch any names but our server worked hard n the bar area, had dark hair and fancy fingernails. He was great! Super friendly! While visiting we couldn't escape the negative vibe though of another employee. It was a person with red hair and beard, who wore a cross body bag. Each time they approached the server station near the bar, they complained and gossiped incessantly about their customers. If this were my restaurant, I'd want to nip this behavior in the bud. My friend highly recommended this restaurant as she thought I'd love it. So we came in on a Wednesday morning and thoroughly enjoyed the service and the food. There were tons of options and they literally were able to make almost anything gluten free to accommodate my allergy. Snooze does a nice job with breakfast classics and adds their own little touches. We got the Protein Trio Omelet, which was a solid standard- exactly what you'd expect from a good omelet. We swapped the side for avocado, but it still came with toast that was buttered and perfectly crispy, plus a side of jam that was delicious. I also got the Sandwich I Am, which was pretty good, especially with the hollandaise sauce and pretzel bun. It is on the heavier side with the hashbrowns, but they were tasty too. Omg we normally love Snooze Cafe! But today was absolutely horrible service! We waited so long for our waitress we had to ask another server to get her just to order! She was helping clear tables instead of serving her tables! We asked for water and waited 30 minutes just to get water! We waited so long for our food that we debated just paying for our drinks and leave! When we finally got our meal it was cold, obviously it had sat there! This was the worst service we have ever experienced at Snooze! We were actually there 1 hour and 45 minutes for brunch! It was busy when we first arrived but an hour and 15minutes was ridiculous to be sitting waiting most of it! Several other parties came and went as we sat there waiting on absolutely everything! Why would a restaurant allow staff to wear political patches on their clothing. Service was great, food is good. Eggs were prepared perfectly. The shrimp n grits was very greasy and the shrimp were not firm and lacked flavor. I see political news and messaging everywhere, cant I go out to have breakfast without "Pro-Trump" or "Abolish ICE" message. I wont be coming back. We visited Snooze today and unfortunately didn't have a great experience. We were seated quite a bit after our quoted wait time, which we understood and were okay with. However, once we were seated, it took another 12 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our table or came to serve us. When we ordered our daughter's kids meal, we were told they were out of toast except for biscuits. We asked if we could substitute a pancake instead, which ended up being an additional charge. On top of that, all of our food came out cold. Our server Allison didn't check on us until after we had already finished eating, which made it difficult to address the issues while we were there. The OMG French Toast is your path to culinary righteousness. Did you party too much the night before? Does your tongue feel like an old carpet that has been abused by your pets? Eat the OMG French Toast and seek redemption. Here is the path to salvation your tastebuds seek. Ok, back to normalcy. I also really enjoyed the bacon. They tend to not make it crispy, so be sure to ask them to do that if it's your preference. If Snooze was a lady, I'd get on a knee and marry her. Very disappointing attempt at an online order this morning. Ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees to go. The restaurant was busy so I anticipated the order would come out a little later than the pickup time- it was within 5 minutes which was very reasonable- except for the coffee. So I continued to wait thinking it would be just a few more minutes. The coffee station is behind the bar and very visible. After another 15 minutes, it was clear that no one had begun the coffee portion of the order- all the while the food is sitting out on the counter. I asked the hostess, who was friendly and polite, for a refund for the coffee portion. The manager then came up and asked rudely "You the guy who wants a refund?" I stated yes I would like a refund for the unmade coffee so I can leave with the food. In a huff he said he had to go to the back to do it on another system. Took another 10 minutes all the while the food sits on the counter. I asked for a refund for everything as the food had been sitting out so long. The manager obliged but was clear in his attitude he couldn't care less. It's a shame because the food in the restaurant looked pretty decent and everyone else was trying their best. On the other hand, I wish the chain was a bit more respectful about how they conduct their business in terms of ethical and moral practices concerning dress code... I'm paying for service of food, not indoctrination, LGBTQ signs all throughout the place with men wearing painted nails, shorts like if they were women at a rodeo concert, and the attitude, unwelcoming and confusing, is this a restaurant or a statement, the whole point of going to eat with all families of different principles present is that it should be a place to eat, without anything shoved down their throat concerning preferences, especially men parading around the restaurant acting beyond what the actual women in the restaurant really act like.. I won't return. We all felt unwelcome as a family. Like, forced to sit and deal with it.. and wouldnt recommend anyone with little ones to go in, unless they have made their home table about the things you will see here.. read more

I love Snooze though it was better before it became corporate. I moved up north a year ago and this is so close to me. So I come pretty often. The food is terrific the crab cake Benedict has soooooo much crab. The pork belly Benedict is da bomb. But.... The service is almost always lacking. If I eat outside I usually have to pop back in to get water refilled etc. once on a Monday the restaurant was 1/3 full but it was a 15 minute wait because they only had 2 servers. Maybe I just miss Jolene and Tracy at the DTC location? There was a really great server here a few weeks ago but she seems to be gone shortly after training. We had a very attentive waiter which was good considering it was about 6:30 in the morning (Black Friday shopping) haha. Ambience: Always super busy and it has very breakfast cozy vibes. We have been going since the first location at Larimer Square opened. But the service? It's gone downhill fast, and this last visit sealed the deal. I won't be returning. My wife stopped in on October 20th, right around 9:15-9:40 AM (maybe management can pull the camera footage to see for yourselves). We were seated quickly, order taken without issue, and even with that massive Amazon AWS outage messing with everything that morning, our food hit the table in a reasonable time. No complaints there. The real issue was the coffee refill--and honestly, this isn't the first time we've dealt with lazy, inattentive staff. I finished my cup and looked around: every single server was either glued to their phone or bullshitting in a huddle, ignoring the dining room entirely. After waiting way too long, I finally stood up, walked back to the counter with my empty mug in hand, and politely asked the guy standing right there (who was deep in his phone scroll) for a top-off. What happened next was straight-up unprofessional. He snatched the cup like it offended him, slammed it under the coffee pot, and overfilled it to the brim--spilling everywhere--while yelling at me that he's "NOT your server" or "NOT even serving yet" (I can't remember the exact words, but the attitude was crystal clear). Then he just plops the sloshing mess on the counter and stomps off like a toddler in a tantrum. We paid our bill and left feeling embarrassed and frustrated. Is this a new manager? Staff turnover? Or just the "new normal" at this location? Whatever it is, it's unacceptable for a place that charges brunch prices. The food might save you once or twice, but not when the service treats customers like an inconvenience. Snooze, get your act together or watch loyal folks like us walk for good. read more

I LOVE snooze. I've eaten at a number of locations and they all rock. I usually get the breakfast burrito and it's amazing.

This location was great to visit early on Labor Day. There was surprisingly not a long wait around 9:30 AM/10AM, which meant we were able to get off the waitlist as soon as our party arrived. They were doing a bacon-themed special menu which include the bacon and egg pancakes, which I wish they would implement all the time because I LOVE a savory pancake, waffle, or french toast type of dish. The food also came out quickly. I also got the Bacon But Different, and it was deliciously sweet and spicy. I highly recommend it! I also tried the Strawberry Lavender Lemonade, which didn't have much lavender but was still good. This I might not order again since it was also quite pricey. Our server was pretty attentive too, which made the experience quite enjoyable. It was a nice way to start the holiday. I highly recommend getting on the waitlist through Yelp. read more
