I haven't been to a Snooze in a very long time and wanted to take my father somewhere nice. It was a Friday at roughly noon. The place was hopping as they usually are. We waited maybe about ten minutes before receiving the text that our table was ready. The place was loud with all the conversations at the various tables and then the music on top of it made it hard to hear the person next to you. The server was pretty disappointing and M.I.A. most of the time. Didn't offer to refill our water, only refilled my father's coffee once, and we had to ask for items. The table next to us, with the same server, asked for silverware, but the server never came back so they had to ask someone else. The server spent a lot of time up at the bar hanging out with the other employees and wasn't particularly friendly with the patrons. In addition when the runner brought out the food, his wording sounded like he was delivering the wrong food which created a miscommunication and he got miffed, lost his patience and left requiring the server to come back and sort it out. It ended up that everything was fine but didn't really appreciate the attitude when trying to understand what he was saying. I order a latte and they burned the milk making it bitter and barely drinkable. I order the Protein Trio Omelette with a pancake instead of the toast. Which is an extra fee. The omelette was good and not over cooked like many restaurants do. The proportions were huge, so much so that I had a whole meal for leftovers. The omelette came with a nice pile of hashbrowns. The pancake was okay but I felt like the maple syrup was false advertising. The menu says its real Vermont maple syrup but it taste like regular diner syrup. Overall it wasn't bad and I would go back, although it's a bit pricey and the staff isn't all that friendly. read more

I recently visited Snooze and had a good experience with the food and service, but one situation left me uncomfortable as a parent. Not sure if they were just running out of food today because it was so busy. But my takeout breakfast was pretty abysmal. I paid extra for bacon crumble and hollandaise on my tacos. I am not lying when I say there was probably two tiny pieces of bacon crumble on two of the tacos and zero on the other. I don't feel like there was extra sauce added at least it didn't seem like it. And I think they ran out of cheese too. So it was not the best breakfast. The kids meal pancake was odd with a strange spread of sweet potato on top. Hard to find, but it was sort of there. The fruit was well pineapple and one extremely large blackberry. I don't know. Maybe I'll just not go on Saturday. But I was pretty surprised how lacking everything was today. I'm sure if I was eating at the restaurant, I could've said something about the bacon. However, being takeout, it's not like I was going to drive all the way back. Food was great as always, especially the pancakes which are our favorite. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. Tried it once again. Service is still horrible the servers think it's more important to hangout, chat and hug. I had to once again ask another server walking by for a coffee refill. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the smile on the hosts faces. They were kind and accommodating. Our server was very much on top of everything throughout our meal. Atmosphere was fun and upbeat. Lastly the food was absolutely delicious. When I asked to talk to a manager to complement our server and let him know how much we enjoyed our experience. My friend highly recommended this restaurant as she thought I'd love it. So we came in on a Wednesday morning and thoroughly enjoyed the service and the food. There were tons of options and they literally were able to make almost anything gluten free to accommodate my allergy. We were informed anything could be ordered as a half order so we started with a GF blueberry streusel pancake. Yum! Snooze does a nice job with breakfast classics and adds their own little touches. We got the Protein Trio Omelet, which was a solid standard- exactly what you'd expect from a good omelet. We swapped the side for avocado, but it still came with toast that was buttered and perfectly crispy, plus a side of jam that was delicious. I also got the Sandwich I Am, which was pretty good, especially with the hollandaise sauce and pretzel bun. It is on the heavier side with the hashbrowns, but they were tasty too. Drinks were simple and done right- we got an Americano that tasted smooth even black, and the classic drip coffee with free refills. Why would a restaurant allow staff to wear political patches on their clothing. Service was great, food is good. Eggs were prepared perfectly. The shrimp n grits was very greasy and the shrimp were not firm and lacked flavor. I see political news and messaging everywhere, cant I go out to have breakfast without "Pro-Trump" or "Abolish ICE" message. I wont be coming back. The business can choose to allow staff political opinions to be a part of their brand. I choose to separate myself from politics. We had great service, food and beverages. I didn't catch any names but our server worked hard n the bar area, had dark hair and fancy fingernails. He was great! Super friendly! While visiting we couldn't escape the negative vibe though of another employee. It was a person with red hair and beard, who wore a cross body bag. Each time they approached the server station near the bar, they complained and gossiped incessantly about their customers. If this were my restaurant, I'd want to nip this behavior in the bud. Unfortunately, like many restaurants, Snooze had a great menu and a great way of preparing its dishes, but then they decided to change them. That's exactly what we experienced on this visit. They changed their hash browns and the way they prepare their Eggs Benedict, and neither was nearly as good as the original versions. It's disappointing because these changes took away from what made the restaurant so enjoyable in the first place. We visited Snooze today and unfortunately didn't have a great experience. We were seated quite a bit after our quoted wait time, which we understood and were okay with. However, once we were seated, it took another 12 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our table or came to serve us. When we ordered our daughter's kids meal, we were told they were out of toast except for biscuits. We asked if we could substitute a pancake instead, which ended up being an additional charge. On top of that, all of our food came out cold. Our server Allison didn't check on us until after we had already finished eating, which made it difficult to address the issues while we were there. Omg we normally love Snooze Cafe! But today was absolutely horrible service! We waited so long for our waitress we had to ask another server to get her just to order! She was helping clear tables instead of serving her tables! We asked for water and waited 30 minutes just to get water! We waited so long for our food that we debated just paying for our drinks and leave! When we finally got our meal it was cold, obviously it had sat there! This was the worst service we have ever experienced at Snooze! We were actually there 1 hour and 45 minutes for brunch! I only have one problem with Snooze, that is my waist getting larger during every visit. Snooze doesn't have a single bad dish. They simply have varying levels of good or great. If I were to offer a critique, it would be that many of their dishes are a bit too sweet. The OMG French Toast is,,,,, hold on a sec. I'm not giving you the proper impression... OH LAWD! The OMG French Toast is your path to culinary righteousness. Did you party too much the night before? Does your tongue feel like an old carpet that has been abused by your pets? Eat the OMG French Toast and seek redemption. Here is the path to salvation your tastebuds seek. Ok, back to normalcy. I also really enjoyed the bacon. They tend to not make it crispy, so be sure to ask them to do that if it's your preference. If Snooze was a lady, I'd get on a knee and marry her. I had a fantastic experience at Snooze the food was absolutely perfect, and the atmosphere was really lovely, especially thanks to the friendly staff. However, I didn't enjoy the behavior of a person who seemed to be the managera tall, bearded man who was quite rude to the hosts, DoorDash drivers, and some guests. We also heard very loud shouting from the kitchen, as if the staff were being scolded. That said, we know Snooze is always packed for a reason it's just that good! Food is good, could use a bit more attention on the portions but taste is good! They accommodated to an allergy so was very pleased about that! On the other hand, I wish the chain was a bit more respectful about how they conduct their business in terms of ethical and moral practices concerning dress code... I'm paying for service of food, not indoctrination, LGBTQ signs all throughout the place with men wearing painted nails, shorts like if they were women at a rodeo concert, and the attitude, unwelcoming and confusing, is this a restaurant or a statement, the whole point of going to eat with all families of different principles present is that it should be a place to eat, without anything shoved down their throat concerning preferences, especially men parading around the restaurant acting beyond what the actual women in the restaurant really act like.. I won't return. We all felt unwelcome as a family.
