DEKI is an awesome gift to downtown Lafayette. While the town has no fewer than five breweries, having a distillery and cocktail bar is a really nice place to be! The location is great too, right off the main drag. They are open good hours, so you can head over most weekdays and grab a drink. It was pretty bumping mid evening on a Friday. The staff was friendly and enjoyed their craft. Got a s'mores drink, which was definitely tasty. I'll have to go back and try some of the purple ones too! Fun Fact: Family owned and operated DEKĪ Spirits in Lafayette exists in a space completely repurposed by the family's own hands. Taking distillery tours never gets old for me and I absolutely loved the history of this spot as told by Scott, the patriarch of this family endeavor. This distillery stands out from others, as they focus on bringing flavor filled vodkas and gin using grain from a local farmer (who then takes the spent grain and feeds it to his livestock, closing the loop on waste). Deki is a lovely Distillery and bar in Lafayette. You can buy spirits, have a cocktail, or both! I actually first bought a bottle of Deki lavendar gin at a local liquor store before setting foot inside Deki. All cocktails are made with their own spirits. I've been here a handful of times for happy hour and going away celebrations. Everyone who joined has been happy with their cocktail choices. In the cooler months, there are many warm cocktails to enjoy which are delicious to the tastebuds and the eyes such as a spiked apple cider and smores (a fave!). Of course, many ice cold drinks are available and just as creative like the Revolver with bourbon and coffee liqueur. Regardless of your spirit of choice, you'll find something you enjoy! They don't serve food but have been perfectly fine with us bringing in snacks. I'd check in advance to make sure the policy has not changed. Deki is a fav of ours. They recently came out with their Peppermint Schnapps. We had to go and do some early holiday shopping. We knew if we waited, it would be gone. This is a fantastic distillery with great drinks, a great patio and plenty of parking. Deki has wonderful, craft cocktails. Every time I have been here I have tried something new and the drinks have been wonderfully balanced with unique flavor combinations. I especially love the spicy cocktails and appreciate that they can make them mild or molten depending on your taste. They have great spirits and liqueurs as well. The Lavender Gin is great and makes really pretty cocktails with it's purple color. I love the Mule Mix! Just add Sprite. The mix has the booze and real ginger in it. Yum! read more

Will was the only bartender there that night. He said it was dead at 7 but then there was a huge rush after we came in for drinks. Will is an awesome bartender with a great personality. The initial reviews seemed so positive that it was a no-brainer to take our friends here to enjoy a cocktail. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointing experience. First, the space is cold and clinical. White walls, cheap tables, and way too much lighting. Second, we weren't greeted upon entering, and were given zero information about the spirits being distilled or why we should care about them. The four of us each ordered different drinks and literally nobody liked what they ordered. We hung around to play a game of sorry all acknowledge that we would never go back. 12 Point Distillery opened last week in downtown Lafayette and offers craft liqueurs along with a wide variety of interesting cocktails. Service is very friendly and they will try to accommodate your taste as much as possible. There is a nice patio and since they don't have a kitchen there are food trucks at times (I guess you have to follow them on FB to know when they come). If you miss the trucks, like we did, there have a limited selection of snacks (pretzels, guac and chips) you can buy. We all ordered different cocktails, that way we got to try a few of them. I'd say some were flavored a little too strongly for my taste. For example, the Rosey Cucumber was too heavy on the Lavender (this plant is tricky as a little goes a long way); the Mary Miller Mule was also strongly flavored with ginger, too much for most of us. Still, other cocktails such as the Spicy Blackberry Mojito or the Old Fashioned were quite good. We all had a very nice time and will go back, hopefully next time one of the food trucks will be there. read more

What a great find! Amazing distilling in a compact space - everything I tried in a flight was delicious - lavender gin, bourbon, spiced rum and amaretto - each among the top of their type I've tried. While we are not big liquor drinkers, we were shocked at how well crafted each spirit is! We were able to meet the owners who have an immense passion for what they do, and it indeed shows in their quality product! Our favorites were the Kona Coffee, and the spiced rum! The bar area and the patio both have a great vibe - they are set up to foster conversation. They even have live music and some board games available to play while you enjoy one of the delicious handcrafted cocktails on the menu. From the great location to the amazing staff and the INCREDIBLE spirits this p;ace is just amazing. Great! I was impressed. I am not a big drinker, but I went to meet a friend. The staff was SUPER nice, and there was a sweet doggie to meet my friend and I at the door. The drink itself- I think I got the wrong drink. It was too sour, but that could've been just me. All of the other drinks look great, so I hope to go back and try again. The location was clean inside, and the bathroom was spotless (I always look for that at restaurants and bars!!!) Great spot! read more

It's a very fun time with liquor. Great mixed drinks and lots of flavored and infused options. Though not aged (yet), I still really enjoyed the bourbon. The whole flight was very interesting and I recommend that route for first-timers. My wife liked her raspberry chocolate martini. Wow! We came here on a Saturday afternoon with two kids under 4 and a dog and it was perfect. The bartender was friendly and helpful. They have a nice patio area with music. Drove from Cheyenne to check this place out and they were closed - Their website, google and Yelp all say they open at 1pm BUT pull up to the door (rad for those who live 80 miles away) and they don't open until 3pm. I'm thrilled to have discovered On Point Distillery. Their spirits are incredible, with such vibrant flavors. We did a tasting and couldn't believe how the blackberry vodka tasted just like fresh blackberries, and the orange liqueur tasted just like fresh oranges! Our favorite was the Kona Black coffee, which recently won Gold in the 2019 Denver International Spirits Competition. We also loved the lavender gin. And the atmosphere at On Point was also A+. The bartenders were so friendly and helpful with recommendations, and the huge wrap-around patio with live music is the perfect place to soak up the sun as the weather gets warmer.
