Update: the Gin & BB Tonic 100% wins a Grammy!!!

Fun & lively! Not bitter at all ***giggle*** Great place to grab a drink after dinner! Loved the cocktails!

Came in for happy hour and was not disappointed! Bartenders are friendly, ambiance is swanky/relaxed. Can definitely recommend the tin man and Boulder v 2.0. Even outside of HH, drinks are reasonably priced. A good place to go with a group of friends or dress it up for grils' night or date night. Fun spot- I'll definitely be back!

The guys were so helpful to us and the ambiance was not at all what we expected but in the best way. Super chill and laid back but darker and intimate compared to a lot of other bars. Would definitely make this a regular spot if we lived in the area!

Cool bar in a convenient area. Just by the free parking near Pearl Street. Nice ambiance and good drinks. Can get crowded and service can be slow. Would recommend, but it's just your average bar in Boulder. The red lighting is cool but can be distracting. They have a nice outdoor patio though.

James Lee makes the best God Damn cocktails west of the Mississippi, and if you disagree you can eat my shorts! The vibes? Excellent! The ambience? Great! The happy hour? Incredible! The service? Amazing! I am a ride or die bitterite, and I have drank enough Tin Men (the best thing on their menu) to kill a horse.

We made a trip to Boulder and read a few blogs that recommended The Bitter Bar so we decided to check it out. Y'all, the HH here is fantastic! Blue Velvet tastes like candy. It literally tastes just like candy so if you're into sweet drinks this is the one! The lavender flavor in Kiss the Sky was overpowering all the other flavors but I like lavender so it was good!! Tin Man was definitely my favorite! The flavors in it were mixed together perfectly. We also got an Old Fashioned (not pictured) and we felt as if it maybe had *too* many bitters. It didn't taste bad, it just was a little more bittery than we are used t. The space is so relaxing and chill. Music is on point. Staff is very friendly + knowledgeable. We went during happy hour so total for 4 drinks was ~$38, 3 HH cocktails, one normal. Would definitely come here again!!

Best bar in Boulder, hands down. Kim and Laurielle are the most fabulous cocktail conjurers of all.

Absolute angels. Kind, attentive, and somehow keeping up with our we'll just try one more thing energy. Now let's talk about the food... WOW. We basically ordered the menu like we were in a competitive sport, and not a single miss. Every dish came out like it had something to prove... and succeeded. Delicious doesn't even feel like a strong enough word. 10/10 would go back and pretend I have self-control next time.

Yesterday was a beautiful day in Boulder. I spent most of it riding around on my motorcycle, but on my way down from the canyons I had a hankering for some truly authentic Mexican food. As soon as my stomach started growling I knew I had to stop in for a bite. Everything, as always, was perfectly seasoned, balanced, and cooked with love. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is some of the best food you'll ever eat. Chef Johnny Curiel has done an impeccable job curating a near perfect menu. From drinks to dessert and everything in between, there is nothing, and I mean nothing, on this menu that will leave you feeling unimpressed. I've spent practically my entire adulthood in the restaurant industry. I've dedicated even more of my time cooking for, drinking with, and serving the people I love. You can taste and feel that same passion here at Cozobi. As always, I leave impressed and wanting more. Places like this are the reason I keep coming back to Boulder's dining scene, and I'll happily continue recommending Cozobi to friends any chance I get.

We were about to get a last minute reservation for Saturday - although the bar seating is nice and cozy and usually always has spots open. The host Chase was super friendly and welcoming. He sat us a bit early, and he offered some of his recommendations. Most of the dishes are made to share. We started with the olives and iberico jamon. The jamon melts in your mouth! For steak, it's all about your preference. We opted for the dry-aged cowboy. Super smooth and not very fatty compared to some Chicago steaks we've had recently. Don't skip on the jamon fat fries or the sunchokes! We were too full for dessert but everything looked so delicious - and they use seasonal ingredients!

We went for apps/lunch and drinks. The view is so gorgeous and who doesn't love seeing mountains while enjoying a perfect red sangria? I mean, such good vibes and what a perfect spot to enjoy an afternoon. I can only imagine sunset. We got the pimiento peppers which were so good--the sauce is out of this world. The salad had the best vinaigrette and while I didn't take a picture (I was so excited to eat that I forgot), the steak frites was out of this world. The jamon fat fries were insane. So crispy and so flavorful. But the steak? Woah. Not a big portion, but that's not surprising for tapas! Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly-- aka, perfection. I'm so sad I don't live closer to Boulder. If I did, I'd be a regular. You have to go here!! Plus, the service was so good and fast! Our waiter was very kind and attentive. Again, it's tapas so expect dishes to come out when they're ready. So glad we went here. It was the best choice for us to enjoy a little lunch/app/happy hour. Can't wait to come back once I'm in Boulder again!

Booked this for a monday evening for a business dinner. i really wanted to like this restaurant…read moreand there were several things that i did like, but the food was just OK from my perspective. Ambience - this isn't the best place for a business dinner. very quiet/romantic and i felt like our group was out of place there, but no one looked at us oddly. It felt more like we might have been interfering with their romantic vibe as we were talking business. The restaurant and staff present a very inviting atmosphere. Food, this is where i was disappointed. the Bread at the beginning was very good/ with salted butter. I ordered the salted radish appetizer and it honestly just felt like salted radishes on top of a puree that i didn't really care for. So would put this as a 5/10 in terms of rating. I got the rabbit, which was recommended as being the best entree option. i have never had rabbit previously and wanted to try it. I thought it was OK, but not very memorable. It did taste like dark meat chicken. however the chick peas they were served with were underdone (crunchy in texture) and simply not that good. Our dessert, blueberry Tres Leches, was the best of the 3. My dining companions had a variety of things (striped bass, meatballs), but no one was raving about their food. Service was quite nice. would give this more like a 3.5 out of 5, as the atmosphere and service were good. Sadly won't be returning.

What a disappointment - food wise. The concept -- a farm to table restaurant sourced from a local…read more500-acre farm with 430+ varietals is so appealing. However, the kitchen fails to deliver quality or good tasting meals, despite the well-sourced food. The menu is prix fixe. 2 appetizers and an entree, or 1 appetizer, entree and dessert. The salmon tartare was salty, too salty. The kefta balls were over salted as well. The onion tarte shell was so hard it could barely be chipped away to eat. When we mentioned this to our server, the response was we get more complaints about the tarte than any other appetizer. I was surprised to see that the appetizers were all served at the same time, so by the time, I ate the cold salmon, the warm kefta, besides being salty was also cool - might have been more appealing if warmer. The rabbit entree was dry, overcooked and tasteless. The accompanying garbanzo beans were undercooked, crunchy and too salty. The food highlight was the family style vegetables. Beets, onions, asparagus were alright; the sugar snap peas which still had strings were not as good. The dessert were disappointing as the rest of the meal. The macaron was brick hard, so hard, we had to ask for a fork and knife to chip hunks off of it. Tasteless. After we departed, my dinner companion said she wished we had sent the dessert back, it was so hard and inedible that we left most of it. Bramble & Hare has a few things going for it: Service was spot on, attentive, helpful and friendly. The wine list is very good. Ambience is pleasant and the dining room is quiet. I really wanted to like Bramble & Hare as the farm to table concept appeals, but with the poor food preparation, this is a tough restaurant to like.
