Alpenglobe
Sagir P.

Food was great quality. Ambiance is nice as well. Having the Alpenglobes was a nice touch, very intimate and cozy setting. Service was good, server checked in on us a bunch however as a first timer I wish the server explained the menu, made recommendations. And my only other complaint was issues with our bill. They didn't honor the happy hour prices for the items we ordered before 5pm. But even worse, they tacked on an additional $25 without explanation. I understand the $6 community fee but the itemized bill and final bill did not add up. We had to ask another person to assist with it and no explanation was given, so watch your bill!!

We got home from dinner at Corrida's, reservations strongly urged and ate in our own private dome on rooftop! We came at 5:45 pm, just in time to watch sunset, beautiful views of Flatirons and several people came out to take pictures. My mother and husband ordered margaritas and I got glass of white wine, plus sprite. The food was yummy, surprisingly affordable and I'm not too sure on "shareable" portions. My husband and I shared everything, appetizer of artichoke (don't recommend), bread is yummy, soft and warm. The butter is good, too! My husband and I shared 19" ribeye wagyu, with beef accompaniment (don't recommend). I really wanted aged ribeye, they only offered it in 30" cut. Also, we shared potatoes. For dessert, we ordered tallow cheesecake and it's St. Patty's day, my birthday was on Feb 15 and they brought out ice cream with sherry, made in house. Service was excellent, there were a few servers, bill was decent for 3 ppl, I didn't check details, I know there's an automatic 5% restaurant fee for staff, we added 15% tip on top. Pictures are amazing, at that time in evening, being in our own dome is really nice for maybe romantic night out...

My girlfriend and i dined here last night and i would say i left feeling a little underwhelmed. The great: The mountain view from the roof top is next level. The interior decor is somewhere between industrial and modern with a hint of oddities like animal skulls to tie everything together. The cocktails we had were absolutely delicious and unique. You can tell their beverage director is a talented person. The okay: Most of the dishes we tried were so close to being homeruns but a few lacked 1 or 2 touches from being perfect. Here's an example: the roasted brie served with house made focaccia was undeniably a beautifully curated dish however my partner and i both agreed it needed a bit of acidity to really pull together that apricot jam with the decadent bask style cheese. Perhaps some lemon zest on top? The bad: While most of the dishes were delicious enough not to be disappointed, i must say the potato bravas is so overwhelmed by the sauce underneath. You can't taste anything other than that. It very much gave off expensive potato wedges and ketchup. For the price you're being charged it was not worth it. The ugly: Service was underwhelming. The servers here are definitely told in pre-shift to push up charges and try to sell bottles of wine to jack up bill averages. Which i can understand as someone who has been in the industry my entire life but there's a way to do it that isn't as blatantly obvious. Our server was also quite timid. Lacked eye contact and a personal touch. Regardless we tipped very well because we've both been in the hospitality industry for a long time and get the struggle. Tl;dr: Corrida is a fun spot to have some wine and a bite or two while looking at the beautiful view. The food is a bit underwhelming yet acceptable. The service is reminiscent of '90s fine dining that lacks personality and charm. If you're willing to pay Michelin prices for not Michelin food then by all means give it a chance, as it's not a bad restaurant by any means. : 4.2/5

We ate in an Igloo!! Such a cute and fun experience. They have heaters and music in the Igloo. The service was great. However they did change servers on us about 3 times which was a little annoying. Otherwise the food and wine were delicious. This was the best steak I've had in a long time! Cooked to perfection. The octopus was also delicious! Shishito peppers were delicious as was the crudo

Amazing restaurant! If you want a great meal and view, Corrida is the place! It is located on the fourth floor in a build in the West Pearl District. Parking structure close by with FREE weekend parking! We went for Brunch, Easter Weekend is a 3-Course Pre-Fixe menu. Excellent options! In addition, great cocktail Menu. The inside is very inviting. I love how the ceiling and walls have acoustic materials. Rare now in restaurants where noise rules! Views out if the glass walls! There is also an outdoor patio that must be a great option on Summer days and nights. There were even private igloo! There are windows into the kitchen and a case of meats aging. Overall, great vibes! The cocktails were excellent. Gin Martini made with a locally sourced gin! The food was works of art and the flavors, just as amazing as they looked. First course two of us selected the Salmon Toast, excellent, and the third selected the endive salad. For the second course, I had the Corrida Beef Burger with Fries. It was done perfectly and the aoli with the peppers topped it perfectly! My husband had the Hrimp and Eggs served on top of Bomba Rice, another excellent choice. Our son ordered the Benedict. It was served with these roasted potatoes that were the best he's ever had! For dessert we ordered all three shared! Basque Cheesecake, Chocolate Tart, and Strawberry Sorbet. All three were just amazing! We had an excellent server, Meredith. Very attentive! Very helpful with selecting our courses. She described ever dish that was served! Very knowledgeable and well trained! Others helped to serve and refill waters. Highlighly recommend Corrida if you are visiting (or if you live in) Boulder! We really enjoyed Brunch! Next visit we will be back to try dinner!

Delishes food in a beautiful atmosphere . I went for their annual fundraiser. The baad was great and there is nothing like having a cocktail while staring at the beautiful boulder mountains.

Flawless service and absolutely incredible food, what a wonderful evening!

I had the pleasure of dining in an outdoor globe and was very impressed with the experience. The service was provided by a very strong ensemble who were not only very kind, but very passionate and informative about the menus. Here's my favorites from the night : Melon Sin Semillas - this cocktail blew my mind. It was a lovely balance of flavor and aroma and a nice way to start the meal. I've never had a milk punch before (spoiler, it's not milky. Don't let the name deter you). It's quite refreshing. Pulpo- incredibly tender and fresh Short Rib- very tender with a delicious sauce Halibut- great for sharing, but I really should have ordered my own because this was SO GOOD. Basque Cheesecake with strawberry compote - indulgent, but not overly sweet. A great way to top off the meal. Overall, dinner at Corrida was the ultimate treat (if you don't mind dropping a couple bills on a meal). For me, I paid for an experience and that's exactly what I got. Shoutout to Isaac and Collin whose service made the night wonderful!

This place was incredible. The views are great, the service is very attentive, and the food is excellent. Everything tasted great. The bread was very fresh. The shishito peppers were cooked very well. The bison was also very well cooked. I really liked the paprika butter. This place is not cheap but great for a special occasion.

Best dining experience yet in Boulder! Service was really good, waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable, we loved their recommendations. We only had the olives from the tapas section, they were good, nothing stand out Id skip it next time. But the pork belly was super yummy, the sauce was acidic it was perfect for how fatty it was. My favorite was the japanese wagyu, soooo good, totally worth it. More so, the sauce they serve with the wagyu, it was phenomenal. We literally saved it to eat with all the other stuff we ordered and it was choice decision. My partner liked the tenderloin more though, I liked it too. We also got the fries and mushroom sides, and they were super yummy as well. Perfect sides! We spotted their little pods outside and they were even able to make another reservation for us for one! Excited to return next week.

Bacalao (cod) appetizer. It honestly the size of a fun size candy bar.

If you want great flavor, an over priced menu, and an empty belly on your way home then this is the place to go. I don't mind paying $50 for a fish dish in a fancy restaurant. However I felt ripped off when they served me the smallest piece of fish (a snickers bar is larger than what they served me). I know this is a tapas style restaurant but what is served here a micro tapas for a crazy high price. Walked out of here with a $200 bill for 2 beers, and 3 dishes that wouldn't fill up a toddler. Had to go to another restaurant afterward to have a real dinner. The view was nice and the servers were knowledgeable about the dishes.

We were greeted almost immediately and presented with drink menus. Our server answered questions about what the drinks tasted like to help us decide as well. The drinks were VERY good and reasonably priced while not cheap, I didn't feel gouged either. This will definitely be on the return list on our next trip to Boulder.

The inside is a little bit divey in feel but more upscale than your typical dive bar. They had tons of seating, and I saw next to a fireplace because it looked cozy (it was). The server was quick to take my order even though it was pretty busy in there (was rush weekend I think for the university?). I had the tin man HH cocktail because my server said it would be the most floral (has elderflower in it) and I quite liked it! Was very refreshing, not too strong. Aside notes: the bathrooms were quite clean. Parking was a little chaotic, some is paid parking and some is free 2 hour. There are only a couple spots right in front, I had to park a few blocks down but it was in 2hr free park by another small business that was closed for the day. I didn't have any issues there. Overall thought this was a fun little bar in Boulder with good happy hour drinks, I would def come back :)

We basically ordered the menu like we were in a competitive sport, and not a single miss. Every dish came out like it had something to prove... and succeeded. Yesterday was a beautiful day in Boulder. I spent most of it riding around on my motorcycle, but on my way down from the canyons I had a hankering for some truly authentic Mexican food. As soon as my stomach started growling I knew I had to stop in for a bite. Everything, as always, was perfectly seasoned, balanced, and cooked with love. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is some of the best food you'll ever eat. Chef Johnny Curiel has done an impeccable job curating a near perfect menu. From drinks to dessert and everything in between, there is nothing, and I mean nothing, on this menu that will leave you feeling unimpressed. I've spent practically my entire adulthood in the restaurant industry. I've dedicated even more of my time cooking for, drinking with, and serving the people I love. You can taste and feel that same passion here at Cozobi. As always, I leave impressed and wanting more. Places like this are the reason I keep coming back to Boulder's dining scene, and I'll happily continue recommending Cozobi to friends any chance I get.

Booked this for a monday evening for a business dinner. i really wanted to like this restaurant…read moreand there were several things that i did like, but the food was just OK from my perspective. Ambience - this isn't the best place for a business dinner. very quiet/romantic and i felt like our group was out of place there, but no one looked at us oddly. It felt more like we might have been interfering with their romantic vibe as we were talking business. The restaurant and staff present a very inviting atmosphere. Food, this is where i was disappointed. the Bread at the beginning was very good/ with salted butter. I ordered the salted radish appetizer and it honestly just felt like salted radishes on top of a puree that i didn't really care for. So would put this as a 5/10 in terms of rating. I got the rabbit, which was recommended as being the best entree option. i have never had rabbit previously and wanted to try it. I thought it was OK, but not very memorable. It did taste like dark meat chicken. however the chick peas they were served with were underdone (crunchy in texture) and simply not that good. Our dessert, blueberry Tres Leches, was the best of the 3. My dining companions had a variety of things (striped bass, meatballs), but no one was raving about their food. Service was quite nice. would give this more like a 3.5 out of 5, as the atmosphere and service were good. Sadly won't be returning.

However, the kitchen fails to deliver quality or good tasting meals, despite the well-sourced food. The menu is prix fixe. 2 appetizers and an entree, or 1 appetizer, entree and dessert. The salmon tartare was salty, too salty. The kefta balls were over salted as well. The onion tarte shell was so hard it could barely be chipped away to eat. When we mentioned this to our server, the response was we get more complaints about the tarte than any other appetizer. I was surprised to see that the appetizers were all served at the same time, so by the time, I ate the cold salmon, the warm kefta, besides being salty was also cool - might have been more appealing if warmer. The rabbit entree was dry, overcooked and tasteless. The accompanying garbanzo beans were undercooked, crunchy and too salty. The food highlight was the family style vegetables. Beets, onions, asparagus were alright; the sugar snap peas which still had strings were not as good. The dessert were disappointing as the rest of the meal. The macaron was brick hard, so hard, we had to ask for a fork and knife to chip hunks off of it. Tasteless. After we departed, my dinner companion said she wished we had sent the dessert back, it was so hard and inedible that we left most of it. Bramble & Hare has a few things going for it: Service was spot on, attentive, helpful and friendly. The wine list is very good. Ambience is pleasant and the dining room is quiet. I really wanted to like Bramble & Hare as the farm to table concept appeals, but with the poor food preparation, this is a tough restaurant to like.
