Lovely spot right on Walnut St in downtown Boulder, with patio seating under some pleasant shade trees, and an awning.

Delightful light lunch, after participating in a medical experiment nearby... but, more seriously... I've been here before, and enjoyed the quiet ambience, and elegant menu. Today my partner and I started off with a couple of rich and flavorful lattes, which really hit that early afternoon hangry spot. I liked the look of the brown sugar lumps that came with, and our waiter was nice enough to give me a ramekin to take the unused few home. For our light lunch, we enjoyed sharing a delicious chicken salad sandwich, with a hint of curry. Overall a super fun afternoon lunch stop, before hitting the road for the long drive home.

A pleasant dining experience after a day at the St Julien Spa. How were we so lucky to have stumbled upon this gem for happy hour specials. The restaurant was beautiful and our food was amazing. The service was beyond!!! Our server Jason and team were very attentive and made us feel like we were the only ones in the midst of a busy restaurant. If our belly's could handle it we would've tried everything, but that was just not possible. For food we ordered Moules A La Mariniere, a dozen oysters, pomme frites, fish and chips, gnocchi, crapes, fish and chips, French onion soup, brie puffs, and profiteroles. My highlights were the French onion soup and oysters. If I'm boulder you should definitely check out this place for a drink and some good eats!

Brasserie Ten Ten is more than just a restaurant for me--it's filled with amazing memories. As an international student at the University of Colorado at Boulder back in 2008, my friends and I frequented this spot for its incredible food, drinks, and lively atmosphere. In October 2009, I brought my (now) wife here for our first date, making it an unforgettable part of our story. Even though we've moved to Houston, Texas, we make sure to visit Brasserie Ten Ten every time we're in Boulder. On our most recent visit in September 2024, we brought our 7-month-old son to show him where his parents had their first date. The food is consistently amazing--my go-to is the Moules À La Marinière, with perfectly steamed mussels in a delicious broth of lemon, crème fraîche, thyme, and butter. I love pairing it with their sea salt fries (Frites) and dipping them in the mussel broth. The quality, ambiance, and exceptional service have never wavered over the years. Brasserie Ten Ten is more than a restaurant; it's a cherished part of our lives. Highly recommended for anyone in Boulder looking for excellent food and service!

I was looking for somewhere to eat after a nearby hike and came across Brasserie Ten Ten, even though it was very busy the hostesses were able to get us a table. My boyfriend and I each got a cocktail, and honestly we weren't the biggest fans of them. The one my boyfriend got tasted like straight licorice and was generally off putting. I enjoyed the food though, we started with a couple of oysters and the tartare de filet mignon. For my entree I went with the salade de Lyonnaise. There were a lot of good sounding items on the menu I would like to try if I ever came back. The food was great but nothing extraordinary, my favorite was the tartare de filet mignon.

Overpriced for the quality, it was incredibly average French food and I get the sense there are 1-2 good entrees, and the rest are meh. Fire alarm went off towards the end of the meal and wasn't turned off until the fire department arrived 15 mins later (if there was actually a fire the restaurant would be chalked). Our waiter also noted this is not the first time this has happened. We had our plates cleared, got a dessert menu, paid for the check, and left before the alarm was turned off, it may still be on‍. Also they didn't comp anything for the hearing loss. I can't say I'll ever be coming back to brasserie zero / ten Update: they comped our meal so I'm bumping to a 3/5 for extremely average fresh cuisine at an above average price (pre comp)

Made reservations for a weekend brunch and was very pleased. The vibes were nice, and waiters were very kind and knowledgeable. We started with the ham and cheese croissant and the onion soup. Both were quite good, the croissant was super soft and flaky, not too hard crunchy you know? I will say pretty much everything tasted just a tad over salted for my taste. French dip was lovely, the pretzel bun was super soft and the roast beef was nice and tender. I'd return, I'd love to try their dinner!

    Specially made haricot vert.

13th Street in Boulder is well known for its collection of comfort food and eclectic mix of…read morecuisines from Dumplings to Indian fusion, so it's no surprise that nestled near University of Colorado is Brasserie Boulder/Cafe Aion, a Spanish-French restaurant. As a former bookstore, this restaurant has a lot of charm that makes for a cozy ambience, especially on a Sunday afternoon. We had a mix of mix of French and Spanish cuisine, starting with Truffle Fries, followed by Beef Bourguignon and Shakshouka, and ending with Basque Cheese Cake. I also had French Press Coffee as well, and just to get that out of the way, wow, such a good coffee! I'm an espresso and Americano purist, and somehow this French Press tasted like a very good Americano with a more nuanced, sweet chocolatey taste. But enough of that, let's get to the delicious food, and yeah, they are all so good! The Truffle Fries to start is just seriously addicting with its potent combination of Parmigiano, parsley, and white truffle oil. In fact, the ketchup is completely unnecessary and detracts from the deliciousness of the fries. The aioli provided adds another twist to the fries for variety, too. The Beef Bourguignon is surprisingly soft and delicate, but never bland or mushy. It plays that fine line beautifully and it is a delight and comforting to eat. The beef is tender, yet savory. It's appropriate that Bourguignon has a red wine reduction component because this dish is as nuanced and delicious as fine wine. Now going to the Spaniard side of the cuisine, the Shakshouka fires it up with a tomato and egg stew that's bursting with flavor! There is balance with the acidity and cheesiness, coupled with one of the tastiest flatbread I've had in recent memory. Finally, the Basque Cheese Cake, named after the Basque Country in Northern Spain, absolutely delivers as a dessert. This isn't an ordinary cheese cake because of the dulce de leche and candied pecans. I just love having the playful contrast of the semisoft cheese cake with the sweet and crunchy pecans. The Dulce de Leche adds another layer of sweetness that is so delectable. It really is 3 different way of sweetness that all works so well together.

But I am glad we had time today and went shortly after they opened for brunch and really enjoyed ourselves. We decided to share one savory crepe and one sweet. They are very large yet delicate and we barely finished them. Our savory was the Parisian and the sweet was the classic lemon. They were perfect in every way. Order at the counter when you arrive and choose a seat in the dining area. It's classic white walls with art and wood tabletops and metal classic cafe chairs. The food was excellent, the French chef owner made the crepes and delivered them to the table. We had picked up our drinks as we paid before choosing a table. It's usually been full when I've seen pictures in the past but it was a very cold day and students at CU as well as other families just getting back from the holiday season. They also offer Build Your Own Crepe and we probably will next time. For a sweet crepe next time I would do one with Nutella but without any banana as many of the standard choices had. For savory next time I would take the Normandy. We chose quickly today as a line started forming behind us. I had looked online at the menu though my husband had not had time. A plan would be good. It appeared that the counter staff may also be family. It is such a welcoming place with really good food, not found elsewhere in Boulder. And very good pricing for quality and portion size. They opened in an unusual little spot, almost downtown but not quite, in the stretch along Broadway between CU and the Pearl St Mall. They have a small parking access to 4 shared spaces with the shop next door to it and the access is on Arapahoe. If you are staying at the large new hotels on the Hill it's an easy walk, the equivalent of one long block. If you know Boulder well and need to easily park, there is paid parking in the library lot across Broadway and an easy flat walk both ways.

Well we remedied that last night for our 34th anniversary and realized just what we have overlooked. To start with the service was simply great, attentive but not cloying like many of the Michelin rated we have visited. They all worked together like you would expect from this level of place and knew the menu and wines that were paired with the detail of a seasoned sommelier. The food was simply sublime and creative. Every aspect worked to make each dish special without that awkward "experimentive" feel that some chefs end up with when trying too hard to be original. As a rated restaurant the menu will change often so I'll not bore you with details of each course. The Shrimp Salsiccia or sausage was original and a delight as well as the Tonno bluefin tuna antipasti. The Tagliatelle with braised veal and the Wyagu ravioli dishes perfect, filled with delightful character. The same experience with our Black Cod and grilled venison Secondi dishes. And the wine pairings worked perfectly with each course so if you don't know wines just take advantage of their obvious expertise. Not being dessert lovers we could not pass on those clever and singular offerings as well. It was a fairly quiet Easter evening and the ambience was soothing and comfortable. We couldn't have been happier to spend our special day any where else! Needless to say we will be back a lot more often. When the Michelin folks finally arrived in our out of the way city they could not have chosen a better place to drop that star!
