    We LVED this place; COVID19 closed their doors! It is loud, lively place except their food was excellent and somewhat reminds mee of our times there. We celebrated, our daughter's 21st Birthday, low-key brunch with close girlfriends and us. We have been dining there for years, my husband and I, love the poulet (lol, chicken) and their onion soup (unable to recall name. If, it comes down to it; my husband would order and pick up soup to bring home, feeling of warmth in my tummy

    Duck Confit

    Best food I've had in awhile. Randomly came here since I was visiting the area and I couldn't have been more impressed. The duck confit and everything else we ordered was amazing. The service was great and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. It's no white table cloth experience but it's very cozy and warm and the food quality far surpasses any assumptions I could've made.

    It was ok but not very French. I was hoping for some great onion soup, coq au vin, etc. Everything was fine just not worth another visit

    Brasserie Ten Ten feels increasingly rare now…read more Even in very good restaurants, actual tablecloths have become uncommon. At lunch, rarer still. So when you settle into Brasserie Ten Ten, with its white linen, substantial silverware, mirrors, low conversational buzz, and faint 1920s salon energy, you will notice. There's something a little Gertrude Stein about the place: people lingering, talking, drinking and eating well, behaving as if the outside world can wait. It feels slightly Parisian, in the best way. Refined but lived in. A room designed for appetite and conversation. If cigarettes were still allowed, you could almost imagine someone chain smoking over a third glass of wine while arguing about literature or the affair they're having. But this is still Boulder, where the fantasy stops just short of the inevitable side-eye and civic disapproval. And then there is the gauze-wrapped lemon. The first time I ever saw one of those mesh bundles tied up for squeezing over seafood, I thought it was the height of sophistication and luxury. The gauze has the faint sexiness of pantyhose while also serving a very practical purpose. A factory worker's kid like me being mesmerized by a lemon condom probably tells you something about aspiration in America. I started with the pâté, which was exactly the right kind of decadent. I paid the extra charge to swap the crostini for bread, which was absolutely the correct decision. I ate about a third and boxed the rest before things got irresponsible. The Boulder influence...nah. The accompaniments were classic: grainy mustard, tiny olives, and a small pile of pickled vegetables cutting through all that pâté richness. The bouillabaisse was mostly lovely. The seafood was cooked expertly, which matters in a dish where every type requires slightly different timing. The shrimp were especially sweet. I would have liked more cod, which felt a little stingy, and while the saffron broth was flavorful, it leaned more tomato-forward than I personally prefer. Still, between the mussels, shrimp, cod, rouille-slathered toast, and that absurdly elegant lemon situation, the fisherman's stew delivered exactly the kind of brasserie pleasure I came searching for. Service at the bar was confident and relaxed. Two bartenders understood the balance between attentiveness and hovering. Not doting, which I don't need, but every need was met. Real napkins. A dedicated, and attended, host stand. People who seemed comfortable in the room instead of performing hospitality theater. Not an everyday lunch. You notice the prices. You should. But every once in a while, it's good to sit somewhere that still believes lunch can stretch a little too long, conversation matters, and a gauze-wrapped lemon can still feel faintly glamorous. There may be no cigarette smoke, no Left Bank argument unfolding over wine, no real salon except the one you briefly imagine. But Brasserie Ten Ten still knows how to make lunch feel like an act of civilization: linen, appetite, conversation, and just enough theatre to make the afternoon seem...negotiable. Gertrude Stein probably would've approved.

The servers are incredible - they look like paid actors with their impeccable server etiquette and the fact that they were always smiling lol. But jokes aside I was highly impressed with the service and professionalism. Ambiance was unbeatable. I don't think there's a bad seat in this restaurant. The tables overlook Boulder and there are floor to ceiling windows almost everywhere. The lighting was so purposeful, we even watched a server set up a table and get a ladder to make sure the lighting hit the table just right - love the commitment! The food was good but we weren't blown away. However, it was still very much enjoyable, especially combined with the service and ambiance as mentioned above. One notable mention is the focaccia they bring you before the courses. I'm still thinking about how tasty it was. Overall we enjoyed our time and I'm happy to cross this spot off my list!

The wine menu is almost overwhelming but we'll guided, and the cocktails are unique. Service throughout is expert and engaging, with depth and attentiveness. The occasional crossover events with wineries or other restaurants create completely different experiences. The location on a quiet end of Pearl Street and modern interior fits the understated elegant experience.

Currently there are 5 restaurants that are studded with the recognition, it was my honor to be able to visit Frasca Food and Wine a few Sundays ago. It was supposed to be more of a casual "me time" occasion after a long week of heavy workload (from the day and side hustle jobs.) I felt like a drained battery where recharging to be a human again was needed. When I picked this restaurant after typing "wine bar" in the search engine and Frasca was top of the list I completely forgot about the star award this restaurant carried so I hastily picked it to make a reservation. And yet, it dawned on me when I stepped inside and was greeted by an elegantly suited up man upfront. At that moment, the occasion was elevated from "casual" to "plush". "Am I dressed properly for this?" The bar is strictly reserved for solo or two-some diners with reservations. I hence was asked to sit anywhere at the bar. There were two couples finishing up their dinner, but they soon left. Suddenly, I had the ambient bar all to myself. I then had a sigh of relief. I didn't want to be in a place where it was loud with background music and chatters by others; I wanted to sit and relax by enjoying the moment in a quiet setting. The young lady who was manning the bar along with her male coworker mirrors all sorts of traits a person with professionalism must possess. As a matter of fact, all employees who came to assist me during the whole dining experience equally possessed the same degree of integrity/accountability/respectfulness. I carefully looked around to inspect the ambience of the restaurant. Elegant and refined; the overall ambiance is impeccably modern and yet not overly too decorated. Everything looked pleasing to anybody's eyes. I started my night with a glass of red wine. The lady at the bar kindly let me taste the "Bava 2023 Barbera d'Asti Libera" (Piemonte, Italy) before I made my decision. This is the most reasonable one on the "wine by the glass" Red at the price of $16 (as of mid-May of 2026). At a Michelin star restaurant, this might be a rarity. Food: Whereas this restaurant may be geared towards "course" menus, there are several pages where you can pick and choose by the so-called "ala carte" style. I was glad; I certainly wasn't in for $150 to $230 course. I simply needed a few items that would pair well with my red wine. Let's dive into the core of the dinner experience: Food. -The starter sourdough roll with butter. Definitely ask for it. I am not quite sure if they'll automatically bring it to you but since I was craving for a quality bread, I did at the start of my dinner. There was no charge for this when I got my check at the end. -Frico Caldo, a potato dish. A good side dish that is like a crispy potato pancake is the best way to describe it. This is one of the dishes that have a good cause behind them. $1 from every Frico Caldo sold/sale will be donated to CHOW to support hospitality workers' mental health. This type of social responsibility is always appreciated and admired. -Blecs Verdi. Ragu pasta made with spinach dough. A good portion of shredded pecorino was sprinkled over the entire pasta and YET, this is an extremely small entrée dish which is about the size of a child's fist priced at $35. As much as I found it masterfully cooked and prepared, the portion size was quite the disappointment. Yes, I do understand the fact that this (small portion) is typically seen at high-end restaurants especially with Michelin star stud so they could manage the costs of premium ingredients. I also heard that these small portions work to prevent palate fatigue. But in my honest and frank opinion, this dish can add a few more spoonfuls or bites to its current portion size. Fortunately for me though, I didn't need to fill an incredibly big appetite that night. By the time I finished the three items (starter bread, potato dish and pasta dish), I was ready for a small dessert or dessert drink. I ended up with a decaf double espresso with a frothed milk on the side; this came with a baby biscotti. This was simply perfect and enough to conclude the dinner. This elevated night at Frasca cost me $100 after tax and tip. Was it worth it? In a way, yes. Exceptionally professional workers who treated me like a VIP, modern/chic ambience that made me relax to name a few. Although the main pasta dish had a gap between expectations and reality when it came to the portion size, all in all, it was like a night of culinary journey I made from my southern Denver house to Boulder to detach myself from the hustle bustle of busy daily life.

The lattes were made with OZO coffee beans, which meant they were good but very overpriced. Service was prompt, attentive and they even let me take my latte back to my hotel room. Overall, it was a decent meal. The price point was high for what we received despite the dining credit, so rating this as an average hotel meal. We're definitely planning on staying at St. Julien again sometime in the future, but I'll skip eating here next time.

Between the pastry case that looks like it belongs in a museum and croissants so perfectly golden brown they almost appear artificial, every item seems to have been crafted with an almost unreasonable amount of care. I ordered the breakfast croissant, a black coffee, and a blueberry muffin. Now, I firmly believe a bakery's coffee should be judged the same way a singer is judged performing acoustically: no fancy tricks, no backup dancers, nowhere to hide. If your black coffee is excellent, everything else is built on a strong foundation. Thankfully, La Belle passed that test with flying colors. The breakfast croissant somehow managed to be both delicately flaky and impossibly soft at the same time. Every bite left a trail of evidence on my shirt that I regret absolutely none of. I'm fairly certain the croissant received more quality control inspections than my first apartment. The blueberry muffin was equally impressive, striking that magical balance between homemade comfort and professional craftsmanship. But if I had to describe La Belle in a single word, it would be love. You do not create food this visually stunning and effortlessly delicious unless the people behind it are deeply passionate about what they do. Every pastry, sandwich, dessert, and loaf of bread seemed to radiate the kind of attention to detail normally associated with Swiss watchmakers, NASA engineers, and grandmothers preparing for a family gathering. I've had plenty of delicious meals before. What stood out here wasn't just the flavor - it was the unmistakable feeling that every item was made by people who genuinely care about their craft.
