    Rage Quit IPA
    Michael H.

I'm glad I have a cousin in Brighton because it means I get to visit Something! It's a little tricky to find the entrance from the back (black door at the top of the stairs) but once you're in it's great. They had a dungeons and dragons room, some arcade games, and a paint and sip event. The beertender was awesome and I had a great chat with a local. I enjoyed a couple beers. 1. Cobbler Cart, a cherry pie sour with cinnamon. Wow! Refreshing, unique, and delicious. The cinnamon finish really makes this sour amazing. 2. Rage Quit, classified as a mid-coast IPA, it included citrus notes and nice citrus flavors. I'm looking forward to my next Brighton visit so I can swing by for a pint (or two)!

A pint glass filled with dark beer features the Somethin' Brewing logo, including a fist holding a beer bottle, on a weathered wooden table outdoors.

Went there on 4/11/24. First time here in many years. Came on a Thursday night and it was packed. They had trivia that night. Pretty small inside but good side patio. They have a permanent food truck. Tried Godspeed, flux capacitor and unicorns with labor horns. Godspeed was really good! But the other two were meh. Bartenders were very friendly. Cheers!

Pizza from Simply Pizza and Tacomatic beer

Stopped here after a walk around Barr Lake and was pleasantly surprised! It was pretty busy when I got in. I grabbed the Tacomatic Mexican lager and went out to the back patio to get food from the food truck Simply Pizza. The pizza was delicious and so was the beer! They have some other beers I was interested that I'll try next time I'm around.

Cute outdoor patio & pizza in the back to order if you're hungry. Great place for the kiddos to run around & get some energy out.

    6th anniversary beers!

My husband & I just happened to stop by Something Brewery on their 6th anniversary - and boy are we glad we did! Their menu was expansive and included a ton of unique beers - from sours to stouts - I was so impressed with all of the cool options! It was incredibly hard to choose, but I ended up going with the Oreo milk stout & my husband went with an IPA. Both were so good!! Only complaint was that they weren't offering flights that day - if they were, I truly would have tried everything! We'll be back!

Relaxing with a full pint of the Nerd Alert!

Getting another brewery off of my list to try for the Denver metro area! Always love exploring the Front Range and having craft beer experiences there! For Something Brewery we had the Nerd Alert, a Strawberry Sour. Some sours are feel are just a big sugar rush and completely defeat the purpose of the name "sour" but in this case I didn't think I got a sugar overdose with Nerd Alert. Strawberries are already very sweet so I was a little bit cautious about how sweet this beer may be. But all in all it wasn't as sweet as I thought and was enjoyable. The wheat feature in the flavor balances out a lot of the sweetness which made me a fan of the beer more than I anticipated. A very pleasant surprise!

I'm never in Brighton but I came out just to pay this brewery a visit! I stumbled upon their Blueberry Muffin Kettle sour a few months ago at a Liquor store in Denver and just had to visit! I was not disappointed! Such fun flavors and names to go with it. The staff was great, funny, engaging and very energetic. Will definitely be back!

What a great place to enjoy beer. I found Something while driving back from an average dinner. Brighton is a growing area and main street has lots of places. You can tell when you walk in this is a brewery with lots of choices and plenty of fun. I started light and worked my way up to stout. All the staff is friendly and happy to explain the menu. If you are in Broghtpn and looking for a place to spend an evening this is the place.

Shameless selfie after having The Bee's Knees pint...so yummy

The beer is amazing...the bartender is even better. This place is so fun. The games make it so unique. I forgot to take a picture of the beer...so I did a shameless selfie. This place is so worth visiting and becoming a regular.

    Cheers!

This little gem is about the best place in Brighton to grab a craft beer. There are a couple of other great places, but these guys are a touch above the rest. Their beers are unique, odd, and for the most part, excellent. They do weird, fun stuff, so you might find something that's not to your liking but the next one you'll surely love. Located in old downtown, it's a fun spot to grab a beer and watch the cars go by or chat with another local.

Jeremey is the most awesome beerslinger. He knows his stuff.

Best brewery around! The best beers, the best atmosphere, and THE BEST people. You won't be disappointed making a trip.

Indoor back room and arcade games

Great bartenders, unique funky beers leave you with lots to try or stick with a safe and steady hazy. Tart blackberry Milkshake, strawberry cheesecake (whatttttt?!), guava, raspberry, all the flavors. Indoor space isn't huge but very smart to maximize seats, back patio is a hike from the bar and hidden but HUGE! Puppy friendly, including inside - yassssss!

Oh my, my, my! First off I have to tell you, I love the bartender JOHN! I think if you're going to be in the restaurant business, you need to find people like,John and Kacey, they need to be cloned. What a little gem this place was for us. We have a blast but can only drink a couple of their beers. If you are not a IPA fan well let me tell you they only have one Lager (beezknees) and maybe one or two sour beers. I am a Lager or Ale girl And so is my husband, there wasn't much of a choice for me! These breweries need to think more about the non-IPA drinkers and give us a little choice. This was my only complaint. I loved the decor, I love the size at the establishment, it had a wonderful feeling. They have something going on every night and a few nights a week they have a Romine Food Truck. There is a little sausage/hotdog cart outside that we indulged in and the young lady that runs that was so fun and cooked my jalapeño sausage perfect! We ended up sharing a table with what we believe became some new friends and as it turned out we had many things in common and also were able to join in on some conversations and people around us. I started this off with the "oh my, my, my". We are talking to a person out of Colorado Springs and knew the series called "Homicide hunter" which is based on true events that happened in Colorado Springs. You can find it on the ID channel. I WOULD go back and can't wait until I do. Hopefully by then they will have at least another one or two lagers on the board?

They seem to have a large number of home brews. And for the sports lovers, such as myself, there are plenty of large TV's. In short, I will be stopping by here anytime I am around the area.

We ordered our pizza and my husband very specifically asked for no mozzarella, but ALL ricotta on his pizza with the detroit crust. The girl seemed confused but didn't ask to clarify anything. The pizzas came out and were dropped at our table with no napkins, plates or silverware. My husband got up to ask for silverware and the annoyed bartender handed him silverware, got back to the table and realized there were no napkins in the bag that holds the silverware so he got back up to get napkins; very annoyed, the bartender handed him napkins. Didn't dare ask for plates, parmesan or red pepper flakes, so we ate off of the pizza trays, even though we were sharing pizzas. Then we realized my husband's pizza wasn't the detroit crust. Whelp, no one checked to see if our food was ok. We were completely ignored the whole time unless we flagged someone down. So, once again, my husband got up to go get someone. They took the pizza and then one of the staff came to our table to tell US what we asked for, which was completely incorrect! She started to clarify what the detroit crust is, which we know what it is, been there a lot. And then says, 'You ordered no cheese!' Um, no he didn't! He ordered the detroit crust and no mozzarella with all ricotta. Isn't ricotta a cheese? She said, 'Oh, well there was some confusion.' No apology and if there was confusion then come back and ask us before making the pizza. Again, we were completely ignored and the blonde bartender was SO rude to us. Not sure what we did except eat at your business. Not sure why we were completely ignored the whole time and treated like we were a burden and they didn't want us there. They were visibly annoyed. We weren't nasty in any way and were gracious. I'm still upset that my husband even tipped, honestly, I hope it went to the kids in the kitchen only. All they did was take our order, tell us what we ordered, and ignored us. Not asking for special treatment, just decent and kind service. Awful. And we drive a ways to eat at this establishment. Never again!

The interior is dark with cozy bar stools and tables inside for sipping beer. Bruz Beers (a play on the Belgian Bruge) has an extensive menu. I got the bartender Tim's recommendation for my first beer. It was their dubbel, which is a dark abbey style ale. It was very tasty and not overly heavy. I wanted to try one more and am a big fan of sour beers. The grape saison (only available at Colfax location) is tart and fermented with Gewürztraminer wine grapes. It was also very good with the right of sour and not overly sweet. The bar has some snacks for purchase like popcorn and meat sticks. I guess they normally have food trucks offering different types of cuisine. There are bathrooms just outside the taproom shared with R&R head labs and another business.
