I am in awe with the sheer volume of breweries in Colorado. Now I'm only visiting the Erie area, but I venture out a little further to check out a new place. LM did not disappoint. Beer was tasty, especially the sour. Service at the bar was friendly and efficient. And to put the cherry on top of a delicious pint, or two, no charge for a brewery sticker! My CO collection is shaping up nicely. I'm surprised how many breweries don't have a sticker, or are out. I'd like to hold back a star on those, but don't think I will.

The beer selection is good and tastes good! Nice ambiance. For us it does depend on which food truck is there. Yes they have rotating food trucks. Depending on which one is there it can get very busy!

Love this brewery! My favorites are the Lucid AF and West Coast Cartel IPAs. And what's better than some of the best IPA's, the symbiotic relationship that this brewery has with FOOD trucks. Tonight's delight was the On the Hook Fish & Chips! Seriously some of the best fresh, fried alaskan cod out there! Love the comfy & vibrant atmosphere. You can tell the Staff really enjoy working here as they were very friendly and outgoing. Great place. What a treat!

Adding to my old review, and granting an extra star! Why? Because a random bartender made my night! When my credit card didn't have enough for a full pour, I could only get the CO Pint day glass. This fine fellow comped my beer and made my rainy night that much better. Place is always popular and people love it here. Thanks !

First time visiting Liquid Mechanics and it was a great experience. The space is really nice and clean and the bartenders were super friendly and inviting. I really like the way they decorated a big, open space. Oftentimes it can feel a little sterile with an open floor concept, but they did a great job with the wood accents, hip corner lounge with studded armchairs and the cask room with barrels lining the wall. We didn't go out on the patio, but it looked nice and chill. The beers we tried were pretty great. If you're an IPA lover like my husband there's a bunch on the menu, but I personally prefer an amber or stout and they had a few options. The Märzen was my favorite and I also got to try the coconut stout which was delicious. My husband got the Jiggle Juice which he thought was good and we also tried the Stuck in Reverse which I thought was a little bitter. The back room with pinball machines was clean and well-maintained. They have a good selection and there's a change machine right next to the machines. A really cool place to hang in Lafayette with a rotating food truck parked outside. Will definitely be back!

Probably my favorite brewery in the outlying Denver area, with a great venue, awesome selection of delicious beers, and frequented by our favorite LOBSTER Food Truck Lobster and Beer,....what else is there!!!

Dear Liquid Mechanics Brewing, Having heard nothing but rave reviews about you from fellow beer-lovers over the years, I was beyond excited when my husband's mid-morning tee time gave me a great excuse to tag along for my own brew-venture. After grabbing breakfast and killing some time, I showed up promptly at noon as you opened your doors to sample your delicious nectar. My pup and I snagged a spot on what is typically your patio. I love that you have converted a portion of your parking lot to outdoor seating to help accommodate more thirsty patrons in these strange times. Your well marked social distancing reminders, abundant cleanliness, and cautionary measures did not go unoticed. Wanting to sample as much of your tap list as possible I opted for a flight covering a wide variety of brews. My flight consisted of: Kolsch, Hop Nectar (hazy IPA), Notoriously Brutal (grape brut sour), Purple Reign (boysenberry gose), and Dreamsicle Brutal (tangerine/vanilla sour). Clearly I was leaning towards your tart and sour brews during my visit. Wow! They were all so flavorful and well balanced. I can't pick a favorite, because they were just all soo damn good! Your staff was so friendly and welcoming. They were more than willing to help me with my beer and merch selection. You can tell they truly love what they do! It's so easy to see why you have all the hardware (medals) adorning your walls for your deliciously crafted brews. I can't wait to make my way back and sample even more of your award-winning brews! Fermentedly Yours, Carly "Darling" W.

Oh, how I wish Liquid Mechanics was my neighborhood brewery, but they're not. They are about a half-hour from where I live, but anytime I'm in the area I stop in. They make consistently good beers with a fair amount of creativity and connection to the seasons. Nothing too over the top but still fun. They also offer a few traditional styles done well on the regular. They usually have a food truck, and when it's warm, they have a great patio to play some games or relax in the sunshine. I have also been in, and they are hosting game nights or live music, so check their social media.

    Cheers!

How you use the space is pretty customizable. We got married 10/20 at gatehouse and the ivy was a deep, beautiful red. Our reception was very fun and we danced the night away! When you book here, you're assigned a wedding coordinator who is more than a day of coordinator but not exactly a wedding planner. Their job is to be a go between for vendors to take the stress off of the couple who is planning. Once we got into planning, the coordinator only had a small list of "preferred vendors" for Lionsgate, which she would help coordinate with. The preferred vendors were more expensive than average and not really our taste as a queer couple. So, a lot of the planning fell to us. If you get married here, my advice would be to hire a wedding planner anyway. Note that if you book here you have to use their preferred liquor vendor (party liquor) as well as hire a Lionsgate preferred DJ. You can hire any other vendors you'd like. When you ask for prices, make sure to ask for hidden fees and costs. We have had a couple of surprises in our bills and deposits.

On their website, you will find a full roster of shows to include local bands, comedy, and a lots of tribute bands. They are also open to private events. I find myself at Nissi's about once per month to see my favorite a capella Rock Band, Face Vocal Band. Face has performed at Nissi's for over 250 shows, and while they have been hosted at venues around the country, and literally around the world, Face loves to perform frequently for their local fanbase. Nissi's and Face built a great relationship starting two decades ago, at Nissi's former location, and traversing the years to tonight, where I will see what must be my 15th or 20th Face Vocal Band performance at their home base--Nissi's (I've been to both the former and current NIssi's locations). At Nissi's there is literally not a bad seat in the house. They have high tops in the back, where you can see over all the tall audience heads and look the performers right in the eye, and they have a lot of floor seating of various table sizes. It's not a huge venue, I think sitting about 75 in the audience. Tickets are reasonable priced-- I paid $35 each for mine tonight. While my husband and I have our favorite high tops for two, this time, I chose a four-top high-top to accommodate my visiting family and myself. I like the high tops in the back, firstly, because I'm short and can see over everyone, but mostly because the sound is great when you aren't too close to the stage. You can also choose a table for two, four, or 6, or whatever you need. Of course, you can always purchase a single ticket at any table with an opening. Meet someone new! The food is also good. There is a menu of reasonable size, and you can purchase a delicious and varied cheese plate, choose from a variety of appetizers, or go full boar with a large burger (poultry and plant versions are available), a local trout piccata plate, tacos, or even a beef stew. There are salads, sandwiches, and wraps. There is a full bar, and a selection of wines and beers that are not too shabby. The servers are skilled and unobtrusive, as you can choose to arrive early and finish your meal ahead of the show, or eat during the show if you prefer (food or drink purchase is not required, but hey, why not live a little?). I find the desserts to be a bit much--large and too sweet, so I have usually skipped that unnecessary splurge. Until... two months ago when they added a homemade lemon sponge cake and ice cream to the menu. OMG, so good! Not overly sweet, and refreshingly indulgent. I encourage you to browse Niissi's calendar, here: https://nissis.com/shows/ Find a show on a date that works for you, and have a date night!

My husband passed in January and I contacted them within a few weeks to start making arrangements. They were just making the transition to the new business so there were a few no contact issues, but totally understand given the circumstances. As the event grew closer, I had some facilities concerns and they addressed every single one. Again, starting a new business. I worked with Honey and Spencer on the planning and on the day, Spencer was there the whole time. They were nothing short of spectacular. Spencer was 110% on top of everything and was absolutely critical to the success of our event! The food was exceptional and the bar/ wait staff/servers were a well-oiled machine. The venue itself is a little rustic and rugged looking, but hey - that's why we went with it - it reminded me of my husband and I'd like to think he would've approved. My sincerest thanks to everyone at Roots! It was an awful thing to have to plan and execute, but they were absolutely wonderful in every way.

The event started an hour late, the food was basic and served in very small portions. The appetizer was supposed to be Samosas but very closely resembled a beef empanadas. Whatever they were, they were good. But, along the lines of Indian culture, aren't cows considered to be sacred animals? I'm almost certain that beef isn't part of traditional Indian diets. Maybe next time, serve lamb, chicken curry, etc.? All of the courses were small, cheap, and plain. To add insult to injury, we ordered a vodka soda (Tito's), and a domestic draft beer for which we paid $16. Other friends got a baseline Pinot Noir for $15/glass. The venue only offered one option per type of wine, and they charged $8 for domestic draft beer. These drink prices rivaled what is often charged at big sporting events in Denver?! They were overpriced and the service was subpar. This event was far from meeting expectations for the price. The atmosphere was beyond sad. It was set up in an open, sterile room, riddled with random vines and cheesy string lights. We expected an immersive experience rich with culture and good food. Instead, we listened to loud, obnoxious rap music at such high volume that it drowned out any opportunity for meaningful, interesting conversation. This event was put on by novice event planners, not professionals! Where is the culture?! Indian music, perhaps???? And, they don't tell you but on top of tipping for expensive drinks, and paying for the overpriced food, there is a mandatory $10/pp gratuity. Ridiculous! Skip this event! Go to a nice restaurant, spend the same amount of money, and treat yourself to a delicious meal. This event was nearly $250 for two people tonight and was awful!!!! It could've been the venue/catering company (Roots in Broomfield, CO), who knows?! It's a great concept but very poorly executed event! The venue, signage, and staff were equally disappointing. The kicker was the dumb bartender who was so baked that she gave us the vodka soda without vodka and tried to charge us the full price. All around, the event planning company, Fever, and it's partner/venue were an absolute mess! We will never attend another one of these events again!
