I almost didn't want to write a review because this place feels like such a secret hidden gem in the Firestone area! The drinks were delicious, especially the blueberry cider--and all of the pizzas we tried were great. They're personal-sized and perfect for one person, but our family ordered a few different ones and shared them, which was a fun way to try everything! The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts. They have yard games like cornhole, and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around and have fun while the adults could hang out and enjoy some drinks. It is all outdoor seating, but there's plenty of space, and the whole setup has such a fun, laid-back vibe. Great drinks, great pizza, and an awesome atmosphere. Wrapping up the summer this spot is truly a place to be, with plenty of parking. The breath taking view of the mountains is great to have on the background of your pictures. With live music and outdoor seating you can meet up with the whole fam or just a cute little date. The variety of ciders was spectacular! And with a flight you can go ahead and get a taste of all they have. My favorite being the peach! My only regret is having discovered this at the very end of summer. I've purchased Wild Cider from the local liquor store but had never stopped in at the cidery until this summer, 2023. They have a comfortable cider garden without fancy shenanigans. There were comfortable picnic tables, live music, an Italian food truck, and friendly bartenders happy to quench your thirst! I liked that they were located off the beaten path as well. Go to the cidery and try the draft version of the flavors you can find canned at your local retailer, like the lemon basil (a personal favorite) and blueberry hibiscus. Having been in literal hundreds if them, I can easily call this the nicest and the most unique "tap room" ever. The view is comfortable and nice, and the drinks for the setting. Hammock chairs seal the deal... The cider is pretty good. They pride themselves on not adding non-apple-juice fermentation bases, so their cider is a bit light and not as sweet as some. That said, it's well done and very drinkable, fitting a nice summer day perfectly. My favorite was the peach agave (maybe because it was a bit sweeter and more complex with the extra fermentation sugar), but everything is certainly solid on the lineup. I love cider! Like a lot. So needless to say I was pretty excited to check out Wild Cider. Even more so when I discovered they had both pineapple and pumpkin cider. Yay! ++ They have a great outdoor space; after all they are located in/near and orchard. Featuring a large kickball style pool game and a few boards for bags/corn hole. ++ Recently they added a wood-fired pizza oven! The 'za coming out of that baby smelled uh-mazing! I'd love to stop back in just to nosh on that and sip some cider. ++ The ciders were tasty. I enjoyed the above mentioned pineapple and pumpkin ciders the most. A little more on the dry/crisp side versus sweet. +/- I visited Wild Cider as part of the Carbon Valley Wine and Cider Festival. While the ciders were tasty I was disappointed that they didn't have larger pours. You got about 1 to 2 ounces from them (the host of the event) but the other cideries and even some of the wineries/meaderies were more generous with their pours. While I would def like to return for a more typical experience and to check out their food offerings; I'm not often in the area so I don't know if that will be possible. Fingers crossed. read more

So much fun! I've lived in Colorado my entire life. First time to Firestone. Few of us Flight Attendants and a Pilot loved our evening tonight. Great sampler! Great Cider! Great pizza! Great service! We had such a GREAT time at the cidery today! They were dog friendly and our pups were able to run around with us but more than that, they have the BEST CIDER IN COLORADO!! And a lot of fun outside games and places to sit! They seem great about whatever and I bet you could rent the space out or even bring food and drink cider with a killer view!! WC has 14 acres of open space! Plenty of space to social-distance! You can bring your own chairs and picnic too! Great cider and pizza truck! Covered seating with a fire pit! we LOVE wild cider so we took a trip to the cidery. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely outdoor tasting area with games and shade. They even have ciders that aren't currently available in stores. Just know that this location is very remote (on a dirt road) so motorcycles may not do well and Ubers may not be available if you drink too much. read more

They truly go the extra mile to make you feel special - my life, our lives, are better because we met Lynn Yarger, our wedding planner, Adam, Michelle, and Mark (the owners of Wild Cider)! We cannot be more sincere in our exclamation of "THANK YOU!" to all the staff and Wild Cider family. You are so awesome, friends! Used to be one of my favorite places to hang out in the summer. Never came for the cider because it's mediocre. Kind of all tastes the same. Bought it anyway to support local business. Had a situation that was an accident handled poorly by the staff and made us feel even more sorry and embarrassed. We're 35+ and scolded like children rather than asking about what had happened and been given a chance to explain. That will be our last visit. read more
