I love SVC's atmosphere! My mom has been an avid supporter since moving here in 2017 and I've been attending a game night here regularly for several months. Their patio is wonderful when it's available and the inside space has several different heights of tables with either backed chairs or backless bar stools. I am sober from alcohol so don't have much reason to drop in on my own; there is only one NA on tap and it's always a kombucha. Boring. There are so many killer NA ciders out there these days. It's up to SVC whether to welcome in the sober, the pregnant, the "I have a test tomorrow"... their choice is no, and that's fine, they pay in lost income. For those who do drink, though, there are 30+ on tap (which is why it's so disappointing they offer nothing for the rest of us). I've had their ciders before becoming sober and they have lots of options from pucker dry to knock-you-out sweet and everything in between. Lots of fun collabs with distilleries and wineries lend themselves to unique and funky batches. I love their quirky Japanese snacks and beverages, it really lends a goofy flair that gives the place a lot of charm! There are also some real food options these days as well which is nice to support effectively metabolizing alcohol so customers don't go home drunk. Ciders can sneak up on you! read more

So taking the flight is often a solid idea, since you can end up loving multiples. They also got this "spicy" habanero one, but it is more pepper-tingly than actual spicy. Good cidery that has emerged out of Longmont recently. They have many guest taps for other cideries but of course getting one of their own ciders was more important especially since it was a cidery I never paid a visit to before. For this cidery I got the Dry Ginger. Which was perfect for not being too sweet and having a great amount of dryness. We happened upon this place and were so happy we did! I had heard of them of course, being a drinker of all things. However, I was not prepared for the large variety (36 taps, the largest in the state!) of ciders available. Most of made by St. Vrain, but in the spirit of community, they also offer a handful of guest taps from around the state! We were warmly greeted by Emmy and she was so friendly and knowledgeable! I am a whiskey drinker primarily so most ciders are too sweet for me. The great part about St Vrain is most of their ciders are dry or barrel aged, or both! They have a decent space inside, and a cute covered patio with fire pits we really enjoyed. They don't have food here, but you are free to bring in your own or order from one of the many great spots around town. Lots are various parking around the area too. Access is in the alleyway, which was super easy to find due to great signage everywhere. They have pre selected flights or you can create your own. We will def be back to try more. read more

I had no idea this place existed until someone told us about it earlier in the day. It's off an alley in the main part of town, which in itself makes it a little bit intriguing. So many flavors! It was a happy accident finding this place 2 blocks off of Main St. My husband and I got tasters, our favorites being key lime and vanilla. The bartender suggested we taste both and then combine them which was amazing. There is a handful of their own ciders on tap, accompanied by other Colorado crafted ciders. Long overdue review after our second visit. We're so glad to have stumbled on this hidden gem. Love the low key warehouse type location where you don't need to search for parking. We visited it on a Saturday afternoon so there was some people but it wasn't too loud. They have so many great ciders on tap not only from St. Vrain but also from other local ciderys. The best part, they're dog friendly! I highly recommend getting a flight. They have some flights that are hand picked but you can also create your own. It's such a chill place to hang out with friends and laugh over a couple of drinks! I will be back to try the Girl Scout Cookie Pairing flight! read more

Finally got to check this place out yesterday. There are so many ciders to choose from, and I wish I could've tried them all! I hope to come back to try more of them, the only problem is that my boyfriend is a beer guy, and doesn't care for cider much at all. I wish they had maybe one or two beers on tap, but then I always wish more breweries had a cider or two on tap too. We got the taster of four, which was $10, and well worth the price. The four we tasted were the Dry Apple, Dry Chokeberry, Pink Guava Rose, and the Bourbon Barrel-Aged. I like that most of their ciders were of the dry variety. That's the only ones I can drink anymore. All were pretty good, but the standout was definitely the Bourbon Barrel-Aged. Even my boyfriend enjoyed that one, and we would've gotten a full glass of it, had this not been our last stop that evening. I hope to come back soon and try this one again! Stopped by to try out the various ciders after reading about them in the local business magazine that was in the house we rented. We got there early when they had just opened, and we were the only ones there. The woman behind the counter was awesome and helped us navigate the large list of ciders that they offered. Turns out they have their own plus they serve many from other areas. Since we were visiting them, we all selected mainly tastes from them although we did select one honey made from another place in Colorado which we wanted to try as well. We sat outside which is on an alleyway, luckily there was no traffic and it was very pleasant and fairly quiet so that we could chat as we sampled. Absolutely stunning ciders! I'm usually a wine girl but I didn't have a single drink here that I didn't enjoy. I loved the open floor plan, made it very easy to mingle but still catch a nice breeze every now and then. The staff were incredibly sweet and knowledgeable about the ciders which helped me a ton. My only complaint about the place is the chairs are not the comfiest if you plan to sit for more than 5 minutes. Other than that, this place is a must go! read more

They focus on just one thing, cider, and they do it really really well. They really emphasize the local ciders, first, and then spread out their selection from there on out. Their own creations are marvelous, with a beautiful balance of dryness and sweetness, and the pricing is really good. The flight is a great way to get acquainted with a very large selection of what they have to offer. I also love that they don't even try to make food, instead inviting in a food truck to provide and the trucks have been fun, eclectic offerings that compliment their drinks quite well. As someone who prefers dryer ciders though, I was a little disappointed. I wish they didn't only do sweet ciders but maybe I came at a weird time. The dryer ones I tried were too tart for my pallet. WOW!! If I could be here everyday I would. The atmosphere is so cool and the cider will get you TURNT in no time. Their mixology menu is sooo good. I would recommend the creamsicle, it's like an orgasm in your mouth. The only down fall is the snacks. Everything is so good, the gluten free snacks are great. BUT!! As a cider guy/advocate/brewer/splurge-r, I APPROVE of St Vrain (for whatever that's actually worth). St Vrain makes and hosts their own ciders on tap as well as those of other cideries (many of which are local to CO). The store front is part of the brewing facility, so the feel of St Vrain is very open and warehouse-y. For that reason, the aesthetic is trendy and functional. I also appreciate that their menu does a fairly good job at indicating how dry or sweet each beverage is, so you don't have to guess and end up with something that has a traditional angry orchard flavor profile. New to the cider scene and looking to experiment? Or maybe you're just feeling wild? Like many tap rooms, St Vrain offers flights. Take advantage of this as they host flavors that you don't find everywhere. Apart from the ciders, they also hold events. Some of these are food oriented, bringing in local food trucks. I even had the opportunity to partake in a cider & yoga event (that included a cider pour at the end). I've never visited the Cidery but I picked up a couple of their small batches in a liquor store and this is a truly delicious cider. It is not too sweet which is really hard to find in a cider these days. Super crisp and refreshing.
