An explanation on the menu said the drink was created in the 1970's. This cocktail was served in a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Strong but not over the top. After awhile, I got their version of a Ginger Beer. It was made with ginger extract, not ginger syrup since it was not sweet. In many ways, it was like an amaro. They do not play music, but the wood accents inside softened others talking. No service charge. Restrooms are up a short flight of steps.
