Owner is super nice but all his waitstaff were rude and unfriendly towards female customers. It's really obvious how much different they treat male customers bc all of the sudden they know what customer service is. I sat on this review for nearly a year but decided to post after I saw other reviews with similar issues, so it made it clear it was not only with my party. It's unfortunate since their bartenders were knowledgeable and welcoming. Maybe hire waitstaff with less inferiority complexes or whatever their personal issues are bc they definitely ruined what otherwise would have been an outstanding experience. This place doesn't have a phone number to make a reservation or book online. It's first come first serve. Don't bother calling the number on here you'll get frustrated because they try giving you a voucher instead and that's all they can do. After researching I found out they don't even have a phone number anywhere which is a little sketch for a restaurant. Amazing Whiskey selection!! Something for everyone whether you're into neat whiskey or cocktails. Savannah, one of the managers, was SUPER knowledgeable on their whiskey and scotch selection, and definitely holds her own in a highly male dominated industry. Bar has a speakeasy feel with plenty of staff ensuring every customer was taken care of. We had the bacon cheese fries which were very good; I had the selected barrel flight from The Whiskey's picks and an Old Fashioned! We will definitely be back next time we're in town! Wish I had more time, and budget, for The Whisk(e)y in Fort Collins. One of the best selections in a single location and a 40 page PDF whiskey menu to guide you. Mind you, many of the 1.5oz pours can cost you 1/4 the cost of a bottle at a great liquor store but part of what you're paying for is the experience and selection. There are several 1/2 oz prix fix flights you can choose from, one being the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection which was on sale when we were there, but we didn't order it (like idiots). Open till 2 AM to this hootch hut is attached to Tony's, a pizza joint, with a karaoke lounge in the way back. It was the Friday before Halloween so they called it Scaryoke, and based on some of the singers we heard that might be a year round description; Ft. Collins is a college town after all. We will 100% come back to The Whiskey and hope to get more than a few tastes in, as well as some grub from Tony's, which looks like the perfect buzz food. read more

There are leather booths for people to converse in and sharply dressed bartenders. For as packed as it was on a Saturday evening, two bartenders covered everything! The service was fairly suitable despite this situation. I enjoyed one of their Old Fashioneds with chocolate bitters. It was great! The chocolate bitters were a nice touch. Service was terrible. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes without being acknowledged even though there were about 8 people behind the bar and it wasn't very busy. When we finally had to ask someone if we could order a drink, she told us she wasn't a bartender and went back to talking to a co-worker instead of finding us someone who could get us drinks.
