    swiss rosti plate
    Amanda L.

Red cherry bomb cider was very delightful! I also tried the swiss dip and swiss rosti plate. The swiss dip was good but the horseradish on the bread was a little overwhelming. The slaw was also a bit too tangy for my personal taste. The rosti plate was good and had really nice and crispy hashbrowns. The salad was just okay and the sausage wasn't anything special. The mustard didn't really have a kick but the pickles did. Cool place to do work and hang out.

Ciders coffee and some food- awesome patio - what more could u want? Have a little parking on the side too We came on a quiet day but were able to have our dog on the patio Tasty pear and apple ciders!

Euro comfort food + killer cider Awesome spot! Order food at the grill and drinks at the bar (pro tip). One wheelchair-accessible restroom--guys, be decent and leave the lid down. Had the Thurgau Dry--like white wine but actually good. The Swiss burger was perfection. I had it with an Impossible burger. The pretzel was spot on, spätzle was rich and gooey, and the Jäger schnitzel nailed it. Even the coleslaw was fresh and tasty. Great flavors, super chill vibes. Great for a small group. I'll be back.

Absolutely loved lunch and drinks here. I had the Pear Cider and it was the perfect amount of sweet for me. Hubs had the Hot Fuzz and loved the heat. I had schnitzel and it was delicious. Hubs had the spaetzel and said it was the best he's ever had (and we do a LOT of German food). But the BIG SHOUT OUT needs to go to the gentleman who made our food. He worked with me to get a spaetzel that my noodle-loving daughter would love and she did. Thankful for his patience! Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Favorite cider place ! It's also close to where we live so it's nice to have such a friendly and fun place with good food and drinks so close by. They also hold events here from time to time. We had the pleasure of seeing one of our favorite comedians here once ... BEN ROY! Crystal also comes here for coffee quite often which makes the coffee punch card a perfect match for her! She is a latte girl! I'm a huge cider fan so this is the perfect spot for us as a couple. We also use this as a go to spot to meet up with friends and connect here first before going out for the day or an event. Highly recommend and we will continue to keep coming back again and again and again!

Loving this place. I'm on a German kick right now... ich liebe deutsche essen!!!! Cider is very delicious! I got a flight and just put in an order for their schnitzel.. so we shall see. Service is great btw! And it is very cute!

This place is great! Delicious breakfast, smooth coffee lattes, and Cider on tap! We got a flight to try a few different flavors (my favorite is the Pearadox). Perfect spot for business or friends, or both! Cheers! We will be coming back here with our friends! Or to do some WFH

Very friendly and great smells of delicious coffee this morning! - This place is such a delight! My husband came here while I was away visiting my family in NY! He came for the ciders - he's a huge cider fan! He told me how good they were and how amazing the service was- incredibly friendly, close to where we live, just a real treat! So this morning he told me we should come check out the coffee before heading into the city! I got a mocha cappuccino to go and it was so delicious ! They also have punch cards and a rewards program and I love both of those types of things. They are planning on expanding with more food and things and I just loved the overall vibe and art and what they had to offer here. I will definitely be coming back quite often in our new neighborhood! Love this!

Really cute Swiss German cidery and coffee haus. It offered a variety of breakfast and lunch items as well as European beers and ciders. Their coffee was great and they even have a loyalty punch card that you can leave at the till library or cards. Service was super friendly and very quick.

    Flight!

My husband and I split a flight ($14) of four, with a guava slushie, purple rain, blue bear and Pineapple Express. The purple rain and slushie were our favorites - purple rain was so unique with the pea powder and the guava one tasted so good! Love trying the ciders here. The outside space was nice - it looks like they no longer have the patio shade covers but they have misters now that felt nice (almost too misty). As always, the staff was super nice and attentive as well. We've moved out of the neighborhood so always love a reason to be in the area and stop by!

The location is in a neighborhood right outside the heart of Denver, but not unreachable if you're willing to take the bus. It was definitely worth it to come out here and try a "stump" flight of ciders. The selection all sounded great, but thanks to the bartender's guidance I made some good choices. They pride themselves on having a balanced menu, and I found want I wanted, semi-sweet to sweet: -Cloud City (loved the taste of jasmine) -Guava slushee (the sweetest) -Loveland Pass (passionfruit) -Lemon Haze Again, I loved chatting with the bartender, who very kindly recommended walking down a few blocks for restaurants (tacos!!). Waldschänke appears to be the only cider place open on a Monday. Unfortunately, that's also when they don't offer their full food selection. Inside, it feels like a nice place to hang out with some bar seating and larger tables for groups.

Phenomenal Cidery in Denver. We were recommended by the owner of Diebolt to try them and I'm thrilled we did. We got EVERYTHING on the menu. Not a surprise we left there feeling exceptionally well... lol Everything was so good! We couldn't say no. Even the hot cider was incredible. It was comforting and perfect for the chilly weather. The inside is cozy and the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. It was such a nice environment with great drinks. I love their logo as well. You really can't go wrong here!

What's their policy for outside food? I have a friend who's gluten-free so we definitely want to drink here, but there don't seem to be very many GF options

Owner here! We do have (1) gluten-free menu item, however there is a risk of cross-contamination. That being said, we are totally fine with any outside food! Bring whatever you like and enjoy our 100% gluten free ciders 🥂🍏

How many ciders are on tap?

Over a dozen. They have others' on tap but are making their own too.

From the creative forces behind award-winning Yacht Club, Rougarou is "a little bit swampy, a little bit rock & roll" -- and easily the best (and most interesting) take on Southern food I've had in Denver. I am slightly biased because they lean gluten-free, and because I am also a lover of all things Louisiana (the main Southern influenced here). This isn't your "fry everything and call it Southern" spot -- it's fresh, creative, spicy, and pays tribute to the South's rich cultural influences (e.g., the Caribbean and Chinese immigrant populations). Bold claim: best martinis in town - Holy Trinity Martini = onion, celery & green pepper infusion in a refreshing, unique take on the classic - Apple Martini = cognac + riesling + absinthe = boozy apple juice perfection Dishes we loved: - Blue Cheese Tart is a fascinating combination of textures and flavors: creamy blue cheese, crumbly crust, sweet jam, and crunchy pickled veggies -- not everyone's cup of tea, but how interesting! - West Indies Crab Salad with mint & serrano is a fantastic fresh take on all those classic southern crab/fish dips - Pickled Shrimp with fennel, celery, dill, and pickled jalapeño makes for another fresh, heat-filled starter - Creole Tofu (holy trinity meets Sichuan spice in Southern take on mapo tofu) - Granddad's Chicken in white BBQ sauce is so tender, it falls off the bone - Sorghum Sundae with caramel corn is the perfect sweet, but light, finish Only dish I would say could stand to be improved is the collard greens. Perfectly serviceable, but needs some flavor -- like bacon! When in doubt, always add bacon, haha.

We then had the Crab Tagliatelle, Ricotta Agnolotti and Lamb Shank. For dessert, we had the Carolina Gold Rice Pudding and BearPop. The ButterBear was super cute and tasty. The bread was super soft! The Burrata was surprising with the chili crunch. It paired really well! The crudo was tasty as was the tartare. I really enjoyed the crispy Cheddar Crisps. The tangy, salty cheese from the crisp cut the fat from the tartare well. The pastas were both good. I could probably have eaten an entire serving of the Crab Tagliatelle myself, haha. I thought it was really yummy. I think my favorite part of the meal was dessert. The Rice Pudding was so good! The coconut milk, the miso caramel popped sorghum, and the rhubarb compote were such a lovely combination on the rice pudding. I want to go back just for that dessert! The BearPop was also delightfully refreshing! The passionfruit paired super well with the Black Garlic Salsa Macha. Sweet and salty is timeless. Service was wonderful! I would definitely come back!

Good, burger joints at that, that closed. I don't expect this place to be here long. The drinks are slowwwwwwww. Not mixed drinks, an out of the bottle and pour drink. The decor is minimal and bare, there's nothing up on the walls, and feels like it hasn't been decorated all the way, as a result it's super loud because there's nothing to absorb sound. I couldn't hear my kid across the table. Our food came out after a lengthy wait, we did order after the kids, so we obviously didn't expect it to be ready at the same time, but it was quite lengthy on its own time table. My husband ordered a burger, and he doesn't like squishy bleedy burger meat. I eat steak rare and I don't eat burgers rare, it was too much for me. At first he did t want to say anything, and eat it because our food had taken soooo long. He did end up saying something, and of course the waitstaff felt terrible even though it wasn't their fault, and took the raw burger away. Next thing you know, some "chef" Amanda came out and boasted about herself to the table next to us. This chef boasted about prior places she's worked and yadda yadda, meanwhile the medium well burger my husband ordered was bleeding all over the place after he bit into it. Yeah? Fancy shmancy chef can't even cook a burger. You know who can cook a hamburger patty? My 11 year old. For real. Evidently the owner was there tonight. So, IDK. We will not be back. We will hang tight for the next place that takes over the space.
