My friend and I stopped in to catch up over a cider and dinner. We both aren't beer fans due to how full they make us. So, cider was perfect. They have a huge selection of flavors from super dry to sweet and unique ones such as ginger, lavender, and honey. I got the German bratwurst for my meal. The bun is soft and delicious but it was way too much bun for the bratwurst. It was just stuck in the bun cooked whole, if they would have cut it in half and layer it in, it would have been easier to eat and you would have gotten bratwurst with every bite. The flavor was amazing, the caramelized onions were perfection! The staff is a bit odd. Both the bartender and the food service people were extremely corky. Also, I ordered a cider at the bar and they must have a new system and an old guys at the food station who couldn't figure out how to add my food but keep my tab open, so I just closed out and paid for it all.

We stopped by recently and, even in the middle of the afternoon, the place was bustling. We enjoyed a couple of ciders, including the passion fruit and peach varieties. We also appreciate that they offer gluten-free options, though we'd love to see a few more vegan choices on the menu. Our son enjoyed his kids' meal and, as always, had a great time playing in the outdoor playground. We encountered a few issues at the end of our visit. My drink was snatched away before I'd finished it! And when it was time to pay, our server handed over the payment device already set to the tipping screen, so I didn't have the opportunity to review an itemized bill first. It wasn't until I received the customer copy of the receipt afterward that I noticed an "operations fee" had been added to the total. I would appreciate a bit more transparency around this charge and a chance to review the full bill before completing payment.

But both times, I have left disappointed. The most recent visit, I brought friends from out of town so I made a deck reservation. We were sat at a table that was in uninterrupted, direct sunlight. We had to ask for them to lower the shade which meant we couldn't enjoy the view but spared us from being sunburned and overheated. My friends split a flight and one of the flavors was wrong. Then when our food arrived, one of their bison burgers was extremely overcooked (despite the waiter asking them how they wanted it cooked). My friend sent the burger back and got attitude from the waiter. When we got the bill, they charged us for the first overcooked burger. We only noticed because we happened to look at the email receipt. They fixed it when we brought it up, but it was really frustrating after the experience we had. Additionally, we didn't realize there was a 4% service charge. Overall, this place is just not worth the drive and price. For $60/person for food and drinks, it's not worth it for such an underwhelming experience.

From the outside, if you didn't know better in the middle of winter, you would probably think you're in the wrong spot. Once inside, we were warmly greeted and invited to try as we went along. Lots of knowledge stood behind that bar and we all ended up with something we enjoyed. There are multiple comfy spots to settle in and plenty of options to work through if you want to stay for a bit. Shoot some pool. Play cards. Just chat. You'll want to hang out for a few, maybe indulge in a soft pretzel and grab another cider to go.

The ciders are in a good variety with each one being just as good as the next one while I can't remember each of them I had as I was just soo tired by this point in the adventure I can say I did enjoy each one of them as they all had awesome flavors and were just refreshing! The fried mushrooms we ordered were outstanding they had a Thai chili sauce on them which was super yummy mixed with a perfectly fried shroom that was full of flavor making for some of the best fried mushrooms I've ever had! My burger was just standard while the meat was flavorful the green chili fell short leaving me wishing it had more chili on it but don't get me wrong it was still yummy and a good burger that you really can't go wrong with! Overall chill place to grab some cider who knows if I'll ever get back here again but if so I'll be looking forward to it!

So often it seems like ciders automatically have that original apple cider taste, but Stem goes out of the box! The customizable flights ($12) made it super easy to try the ciders. On this visit, my favorites were the hard mango and hazy apricot! However, I liked all that I tried- salted cucumber, chile guava, and hard peach tea! Most unusual was definitely the salted cucumber! I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was too! My partner and I tried the soft pretzels ($11.95) and the green chile and pepper jack burger ($17.95). Both were great! Pretzels were fresh, tender, and piping hot! Comes with 3 and they paired well with the cider cheese. The burger was incredible tasty caramelized onions, green chile, beef, and cheese- we requested aioli on the side but great flavors and served with perfect crispy fries! This RiNo location was super relaxing with both indoor and patio seating and live music during this particular evening! Service was attentive and friendly!

Of their ciders we had, my favorite was the hibiscus cider and the peach cider, but they also have a good selection beers if ciders aren't your thing. For food we got their Ruben and their Flat-iron Steak. The Ruben was awesome, the sauce was a bit on the sweeter side, but it tasted good while drinking the ciders. But the highlight for me was their flat-iron steak, its a simple cut but it was one of the best steaks I've had in recent memory. I'm not kidding when I say it was on par if not better than a a lot of the steakhouses I've been to, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and comes with a solid chimichurri sauce. TLDR: great local tavern with great food and good selection of drinks.

We stopped at Clear Creek Cidery & Eatery because we liked their outdoor seating. The weather was perfect for enjoying a nice, shaded outdoor lunch. Our group of six all ordered water for drinks. The server brought us filled glasses and then told us if we wanted any refills, we could get them ourselves from the big cooler jug outside. Um...okay. The rest of the service was pretty much the same -- apathetic. We ordered a flight of beer for the four adults at the table. It was about $30 and came with about 15 small glasses of cider, one of each flavor they served. We shared it and got to sample everything that way. I ordered the Cider Burger (medium rare) with fries as my side. It came out medium well, which instantly ruins and dries out any good burger experience. The fries were tepid as well. I don't think we even saw our server again until the end, and even then we had to wait for awhile for the check. So, overall, It was just an okay experience. If I'm in the Idaho Springs area again, I wouldn't return to Clear Creek Cidery & Eatery. I'd definitely explore other options.
