Sometimes when you go to a winery/brewery, all the choices taste the same. NOT HERE. Everything had a distinctive flavor, and all of them were delicious. My favorites were the Meliotus and the Von-yay! The Von-yay is made with vigonet wine grapes and tasted like a sweet white wine. The Meliotus was their traditional mead, which was layered with flavor and delicious. Deb, the owner, was fabulous and knowledgeable, sharing so much about the process while also preparing for an upcoming private party. She is so obviously passionate about the mead and extremely hard working. Highly recommend.

The meadmaker has a sense of humor.

Want to branch out from beer and wine? Try Deb's mead. It's not thick like you imagine. It's light and dry and amazing. I am already planning what meals I'll make with the bottles I buy. Great tastings and fun people have found this gem in north Denver. Take an hour and stop in. You'll be happy you did!

Two doors down from Kingman winery, our vino pass also brought us to this place. What a find! We were warmly greeted by Bear who walked us through an entire flight of all of their mead. If you have never had mead, I highly suggest you seek it out. It's an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey with water and also using various other things such as fruit, spices, herbs, or hops to impart different flavors. I had only ever had fruit varieties before, but the mead here is varied and complex! They had 11 different meads available. Each one was named for a notable female. My favorite was the Martha (from Martha's Vineyard) and the Lindsey (Vonn), both were barrel aged!!However, all of them were interesting and would pair well in the right situation or season. My friend really enjoyed the Elizabeth (after Queen Elizabeth I) which contained rose petals from the owners garden, so much so she had to take a bottle home. It's a neat little space and would make for a fun date or meetup with a friend. A flight of 5 meads is only $7 and then you can take a bottle for $20! Their mead club is very interesting also and a really good value! We had such a good time, we will definitely be back to try their other concoctions.

Mead julep for derby day! Very well done with incredible combination of primo ingredients. Refreshing start with subtle mint sweet finish. Delicious.

Call before coming, it's hard to tell by the sign when they are open for sure but they aren't open Wednesdays at all.

This place is really nice, as well as the owner. We did the mead tasting and I bought a bottle of my favorite which was the peach skin mead.

The sophistication is matched by the beautiful creekside setting. My crew had a flight of red and whites which they claimed were excellent. I'm looking for a quick bite we selected the board which offered olives, cheeses, salumi, snacky meaty meats and tasty spread to bring it all together. Such a perfect interactive share dish to get everyone chatting. Entrees included mussels and hamburger which was done en croute giving it a spectacular presentation. I'm seeing a black truffle/brie versions for mushroom cheese burger. The mussels were in buerre tomate and looked great. I'm adverse to this mollusk so had to judge this reviews on the smiles beeming over slurp slurp sound. Dessert was great. The flourless cake was dense and chocolaty with vanilla quenelle. Cannolis needed some rolling pin love on the pastry. The filling needed mascarpone and a touch less gelatin to lighten the mouthfeel. Can't wait to get back and eat through the menu.

Our server was very attentive and helpful with our meal selection. While the biscuit breakfast comes with scrambled eggs they were kind enough to make mine over medium and also extra crispy bacon. The freshly made to order biscuits were so delicious with the butter and jams. We order the chocolate chip cookie skillet and it comes à la mode. Be warned it's HOT! I burned my tongue and it was so worth it. I would recommend asking for a second scoop of ice cream as it felt a little small in comparison to the size of the cookie. But get this dessert! The property is quite nice to walk around and even has a little gift shop. Give them a visit!

The first thing that grabs you as you're driving through the back, roads of Weld County among farms and ranches is the warmth of this location with trees, a long drive and a small pond. It truly is a picturesque setting and some families were already walking around the pond and nearby grounds taking family photos. We had a small wait for our table, which was not unexpected since had a large group. The drink options were amazing and the bartenders on duty did not disappoint with their preparations. The menu however, was great for those who were seeking carbs, but left something to be desired if you were seeking any protein options. We started with the Charcuterie and Bruschetta Barrata boards along with the Warm Spinach and Artichoke dip. A couple of flatbread pizzas wrapped up the dinner options for us. We were celebrating a birthday and brought a cake in the staff was kind enough to let us keep it in the cooler until it was time to be served. With almost every table filled outdoors and indoors, the staff did a good job of keeping up with our tables needs and balancing the other tables in their respective stations. We did have to seek out our waiter a couple of times to order additional items but they were quite busy. This place is ideal for a light, relaxing meal with drinks and the company of friends. It is not the place to go for those with a hearty appetite as you may be disappointed with the scarcity of options on the menu, but for events in a beautiful setting, you can't go wrong here!

We loved the ambiance, feeling like we'd really discovered a gem off the beaten track, pun intended. By joining the club, it was a monthly excuse to plan a special night out to what became one of our favorite places for date night. It's been a couple of years now, but we had occassion to meet the owners, when we mistook their closing time for an hour later. The lights were still on, so we didn't realize our mistake, until they'd already invited us in to exchange our monthly growler with such warmth. Super nice people, reflecting the vibe we always felt on our other visits. The staff echoes that disposition, always friendly and knowledgeable. Though the winery isn't on-site, I've always been impressed with their tasting experience. I've now been a member for over 5 years, going in at least once a month, and they still suggest trying seasonal options and have broadened my palette... Though my ex and I have parted ways for a long while now and he moved away, he's kept our membership current, calling it my "alimony," and a nod to remembering the good times we had together. I recommend Bigsby's for all the good memories for all the folks, be it a lazy summer afternoon on the patio or a cozy evening in the lounge area with a glass of red when it's cold outside!
