Our server was very attentive and helpful with our meal selection. While the biscuit breakfast comes with scrambled eggs they were kind enough to make mine over medium and also extra crispy bacon. The freshly made to order biscuits were so delicious with the butter and jams. We order the chocolate chip cookie skillet and it comes à la mode. Be warned it's HOT! I burned my tongue and it was so worth it. I would recommend asking for a second scoop of ice cream as it felt a little small in comparison to the size of the cookie. But get this dessert! The property is quite nice to walk around and even has a little gift shop. Give them a visit!

Located in rural weld County in Fort Lupton, sits this little gem that you have to check out!…read more At my daughter suggestion with family in town from far away cities, we chose Salt and Acres as our meeting place on a warm fall weekend. The first thing that grabs you as you're driving through the back, roads of Weld County among farms and ranches is the warmth of this location with trees, a long drive and a small pond. It truly is a picturesque setting and some families were already walking around the pond and nearby grounds taking family photos. We had a small wait for our table, which was not unexpected since had a large group. The drink options were amazing and the bartenders on duty did not disappoint with their preparations. The menu however, was great for those who were seeking carbs, but left something to be desired if you were seeking any protein options. We started with the Charcuterie and Bruschetta Barrata boards along with the Warm Spinach and Artichoke dip. A couple of flatbread pizzas wrapped up the dinner options for us. We were celebrating a birthday and brought a cake in the staff was kind enough to let us keep it in the cooler until it was time to be served. With almost every table filled outdoors and indoors, the staff did a good job of keeping up with our tables needs and balancing the other tables in their respective stations. We did have to seek out our waiter a couple of times to order additional items but they were quite busy. This place is ideal for a light, relaxing meal with drinks and the company of friends. It is not the place to go for those with a hearty appetite as you may be disappointed with the scarcity of options on the menu, but for events in a beautiful setting, you can't go wrong here!

The staff is outstanding--everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. You can tell they really care about what they're building here. The wine selection is excellent, and their flights are a steal at just $14. They also offer meads, mulled cider, and an entirely new food menu that pairs perfectly with the drinks. There's clearly a lot of thought going into the experience now. We also heard a new deck area is coming soon, plus plans for a paella night--which honestly sounds amazing and gives us even more reason to come back. If you haven't been to Snowy Peaks recently, it's absolutely worth another visit. They're doing great things and it's becoming a must-stop spot in Estes Park.

When I came I saw that this place is basically a smaller mom-and-pops winery, which offered 4 of their own wines, including other wines that they imported and fermented themselves. So, I just ordered their own wines. You can taste 4 wines from a list. Luckily, all 4 were from their own Colorado home vines. I sat outside at a table looking over their vineyards. I ended up buying a single glass of their white wine. I had a good time and the prices weren't bad. Plus, they had a few cute pups (Tucker the Golden Retriever!) come up to me to keep me company. This is something I would definitely do again. So I hope they do it again because I believe this was a special event.

7/31/25: Short version - if I could give 10 stars I would. Location, staff, wine & food selections,…read morecommunication -- 10 stars across the board. It was a wonderful experience! One word of caution, though. Not to put you off visiting, but just a heads up: Larimer County only allows the winery to have 11 vehicles in their parking lot. A wine tasting reservation does secure you a spot. Long version - we were visiting Loveland, CO (from Phoenix, AZ) for a very short trip & wanted to cram in as much as we possibly could. Blendings was one of the first wineries we found doing a Google search for the area. What a fantastic place, no joke. We made the reservation online, and not gonna lie, I got nervous about the 11-car limit. I sent an e-mail to a couple of their "Contact Us" addresses. One did not go through. When I reached out to them via Facebook, someone replied almost immediately, thanking me for letting them know about the bad e-mail & also confirming that yes, a tasting reservation guarantees your car has a spot in their parking lot. Now that is excellent customer service. When we arrived this particular Thursday for our 4 o'clock reservation, it was to a gorgeous spot. Green vineyards, a babbling brook, a gorgeous & well decorated eating / tasting area, a beautiful patio for more tasting ambiance, plus a couple more covered areas in their small side yard. Katie welcomed us with a cheery hello & bright smile. She was very friendly as we navigated through our confusion over the reservation. She was giving us a 4-flight tasting when we reserved the Blendings Experience (6 flights, charcuterie plate, bottle to take home) ... or so we thought. Turns out, we weren't paying attention to their website when we signed up & clicked on the other link, the one for the 4-flight tasting. She was super sweet though & said the Blendings master could be there in 30 min if we wanted to go that route. Not wanting to rush anyone because of our screw up -- and because we were thirsty now! :-) -- we opted to go w/ the normal tasting. What a treat that was. Probably a good thing, too, because the flights were generous pours; I don't think I could have handled 2 more pours. LOL! With all the wine consumption, we ordered a veggie plate, as well as a charcuterie plate. Plus, Katie gave us some spicy saltines to go with it. Tasty! The hummus w/ the veggies had a little kick to it, & the small pita pockets were perfect. The charcuterie plate had some wonderful cheese slices, a nice selection of olives (you could choose to go w/ nuts instead of olives), plus the meat & crackers. It was so good we ordered a 2nd charcuterie. There was an excellent selection of wines to choose from the tasting menu. One or two I wanted they were out of, but we were also able to substitute from their other selections. They also had a couple special seasonal wines, as well as some cocktails, on top of a few frozen wine slushie concoctions. Too many choices. We totally should have taken an Uber/Lyft. Ha Ha! We got through our flights, then tried a few of their cocktails: Old Fashioned, Lavender Lemonade, and one of their frozen. Every single one was delicious. All in all, we spent a couple hours at Blendings. We could have spent so much longer, but then we totally would have needed a ride home. We bought a few bottles of their sweet wines: Strawberry Blonde, Caramel Apple, and Blue Me Away. It was a hard decision to make, which bottles to buy. If you are ever in the Fort Collins or Loveland area and want to have a fantastic wine-tasting experience, you should reserve a tasting at Blendings Winery. You'll have a memorable experience.

August 26th was their last day to operate at the location of 8130 S University, Unit 110; they are moving to a new location: 311 E County Line, #20; this is the old driver's license place. It's my understanding that they will resume their normal operation at the new place in mid-September.*** As an avid wine drinker, I had to fathom to understand why it had taken this long to come to this winery even though they opened their doors almost 15 years ago. I had passed this quiet shopping center numerous times in the past and although the actual store is not necessarily super visible from the street, the sign (winery) at the entry to the shopping center had caught the kitty corner of my eye every time I drove on University. Whatever the excuse I can thing of, I finally made it here as if to scratch one item off of my bucket list. I bought a deal from Groupon (two-hour wine tasting with award-winning wines for two with one take-home bottle deal) at the price of $41.60) months ago. I simply couldn't ignore such a great deal. Without further ado, let me rate my yesterday's tasting experience. Selection of wines: First off, this place carries world sourced/Colorado made wines. They, of course, have white, red and dessert ones. Grape types are Pinot Noir, Merlot, Zinfandel, Cab Sauvignon, Tempranillos, Malbec, Carmenere, Chianti, Barolo, Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Pinotage, Barbera for reds and Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Liebfraumilch, Viognier for whites (I'm pretty sure I have left off a few.) This is quite extensive. Because of this, you'll be guaranteed to find something that will resonate with your likings/palate. Quality of wines: I had no expectations before I had arrived. All I was looking for was a quality time with my friend over a glass of wine. But once I started a flight of my choices, I had a hard time picking which one was better between the first and the second one or the third one and the fourth (and so on) and what I liked the most because they all tasted amazing. I know some say that Colorado made wines are not at par with wines from other states/regions but if you still think that Colorado's wine making level is still pretty low, you should definitely check this place out. Host: Melissa (?) was simply amazing. She was hospitable and attentive to our needs. She tirelessly walked around the floor with several bottles of wines in her arms/hands and kept pouring for us and other guests. She was also excellent at making great suggestions. And whenever she mentioned her favorites and we tried them out, we ended up liking them. Like I mentioned earlier in this review, the place was in the transition of moving. Melissa asked us to pardon any/all mess that we might notice. She also said that certain things had already been boxed up for the move so the only thing she could offer for us to munch were black sesame crackers (but this place does have charcuterie board.) This was totally understandable. Website: Check it out for sure. They offer wine club membership (gold club is $50, silver club is $45 and bronze club is 35); they let you make your own wine (I wonder how this is done; I'm curious); they let you make your custom wine labels (you can commemorate a special occasion such as birthday, wedding anniversary etc.); they let you rent the winery for seminars, events etc. Regular wine tastings: $15 per person for 6 tastes or $25 per person for 1 hour tasting My friend and I left the place (after two hours of tasting) being impressed. I cannot wait until they reopen at their new location. I'm pretty sure it'll be a more superior experience as they'll have everything: the ambience, the food but most of all, the award-winning wines. ***I decided on Chilean Cab-Malbec-Carmenere as my take-home bottle after the tasting***
