Kingman Estates Winery is a true gem in Denver! I have found I really like wineries on the Western Slope of Colorado best.....until now! Karen and Doug Kingman have one great winery. Not only is the wine DARN good, the venue is wonderful, & the owners are so welcoming and genuine! I recently hosted a surprise 60th Birthday party for a family member, & they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, & for our night to be a memorable one. Never once did I feel rushed or pressured. They answered all my questions, worked within my budget, and had the venue clean and tables set up for our guests when the time came. All matters were discussed openly, honestly and they had a very straightforward approach. I appreciated this so very much as I had never hosted a party at a winery before. Our celebration was a success with help from them, everyone raved about the wine and the great time they had. Be sure to come check it out. Came here on a week night with my girl to try it out. Was not busy at all and we sat at the bar. Good beer and wine selection and the Wonton pizza I got was delish. The one drawback of this place is it is open air and they have fans constantly going to try and keep it cool. Not sure if there is a plan in place for AC in the future but be beware if you go visit here in the summer months. Overall not bad and the service and food was excellent! Enjoy. read more

The owners and staff are super friendly, we felt so very welcomed right away. The venue has a great layout, very spacious and relaxed with a great atmosphere for chatting and for large groups. The table water is either heavily chlorinated or has many additives that make the water salty, and this water would seem to also be used to produce the wine, which unfortunately suffers from this addition. Although the owners are knowledgable about the wines, the staff would seem to not receive training about the types and varieties they are serving to guests. read more

The setting for the new winery is beautiful. It was nice to see familiar faces and the service was wonderful as always. I went here with a group and the service was so nice and attentive. Most of us ordered flights and we never had to wait too long to get our next glass. They were good about giving recommendations as well. They don't serve a lot food, but had yummy meat and cheese trays and were fine with us ordering in from elsewhere. read more

My friend and I had such a great time! They are doing a wonderful job working to prevent covid, with must do events in the mean time! They were offering sabering lessons this weekend- buy a bottle of wine, and they teach you how to open it with a saber and you drink it right then and there with your friends! I wish we had taken advantage, because it looked so fun! We loved the wine tasting (5 for $6 or all the bubbly wines for $8). Overall a fab visit and highly recommend if you are doing a date night ! read more

Super friendly staff, they'll keep you coming back. Tastings are not rushed and are always informative. When they have caterers onsite its always worth getting a glass and staying for a bite after your tasting. Get out and try some Colorado wine. read more

My friend and I were out exploring using her vino pass and found our way here. It's in a nondescript industrial type area. There is shared parking with other businesses in the strip, but we had no issues on a Sunday afternoon. We were lucky enough to be there on release day for their Zinfandel. I am not usually a Zin drinker, but this was fantastic!! Thry had a special food pairing with it that day, a pork belly bao bun, which was delicious!! They have a small tasting area with tables and chairs. In the back is a larger area, which also has seating and they use for events and such. They do have small bites available. Mostly, cheese and cracker plates. They have limited hours also, Friday 3-7, and Noon-5 on the weekends. I would recommend a look at their wine club. It's a great deal and all of the wines we tried were great. They are made here with grapes from Colorado. Yay. read more

Fantastic addition to the wineries in this area. We love to spend a Saturday every now and then hitting up Spero, Balastreri and Kingman wineries. Kingman has a smaller, less touristy, tasting room. I love that you can sit at a table here and they will bring the wines to your group and tell you about them. Sometimes they have you try a wine with a piece of chocolate or cheese and show you how the food changes the flavor of the wine. A tasting here is just $5 and you can use that $5 toward a bottle purchase. If you're going to a dinner or party, drop in here for a tasting and pick up a bottle to take to your event. read more

This is a great spot to get some wine if you're on your way to another winery in the area. It's a very simple and classic winery. We had a Groupon for Kingman Estates, and I have to say it was a great deal! We got a free tasting for two and $40 to spend on wine. The bottles of wine there range around $20 or so, and that gives you two bottles of wine to go home with. We met one of the owners and she was so nice. They also have a young man working there (I can't remember his name) but he was so wonderful showing us around . This winery is small, but I had a great Viognier. It really ranked up there. It makes for a fun trip, especially if you hit two of my other favorite wineries, Balistieri and Spero, both not far away. read more

My wife and I got a Groupon for a wine tasting at Kingman Estates. We tasted all the wines on the menu, but we weren't really impressed with any of the whites. When we got to the reds, things started getting a lot better. We really enjoyed the merlot, as well as the cabernet sauvignon. Our Groupon included the tasting, and 40 dollars worth of wine. We got bottles of the merlot and the cabernet sauvignon. The service was friendly, and seemed to know a lot about the wine they were pouring. Overall, not bad wine. My husband and I decided to check out some wineries this weekend. We split the time between Kingman and Spero. Kingman won by a landslide. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The manager let us try a few different wines that weren't on their menu and even did a little wine with ice cream sample. It was a great overall experience here! The tasting room is a great size; with a a few tables you can sit at and taste or you can stand at the bar. When driving here it can be easy to miss but they did a great job putting up signs! Def go check them out on a Saturday or Sunday. You won't be disappointed! We even became members! read more

We wanted to thank Kingman Estates Winery for a wonderful evening Saturday 8/1 . We have always enjoyed our visits to Kingman prior to Covid but it was terrific to go and feel a bit normal again but follow all the government mandates. The winery arranged tables , at safe distances in the parking lot and sidewalk. Everyone was wearing a mask , when required and they had a terrific rock/country singer Roberta Funk. As always their Colorado wines are fabulous and the new Colorado Bubbly really sparked. Service as always was knowledgeable and professional . My daughter bought an Amazon deal to include a wine tasting, wine tour plus wine. We were there Sunday September 14 Outside in the parking lot right next to the front door many young kids were sitting down smoking and next to them were large containers they had apparently just cleaned out. Not a good first sight while trying to enter a business I was excited about the tour but I was informed that it was not available because they were cleaning. During regular business hours and on one of the 2 days they are open! The wine tasting was unprofessional, we had to use same glass for each wine, and I had to get up and get my own water to use in my same glass! We did leave with 5 bottles of wine which I will give away as gifts. This is not a winery, it is a strip mall disaster where they sell wine with grapes from California and play at trying to produce good wine. Save your money the wine is comparable to a cheap $2.99 bottle one may find lying in the gutter by a homeless camp. read more

The owners are some of the friendliest people you will meet and the wine is very good. As far as Colorado Wines are concerned their Chardonnay is one of the best I have has and their Marvlous 1680 Red Wine is clean and consistently really good. Not to mention the other white and red wines they offer those 2 are my particular favorites. While they are in local liquor stores make it a point to go to the tasting room when they are open and say hi to the owners and enjoy a great tasting and possibly a glass afterwards, you will not leave disappointed. read more

We visited on Valentine's Day for a two-hour tasting deal with Living Social. We really enjoyed the Nefarious and Marv'lous wines especially! The Cabernet Sauvignon was also good and we enjoyed the smokiness of the Merlot. The staff was so friendly and attentive! You forget you're in the warehouse district of Denver with how nice the tasting room is once you get inside. I would recommend this place to those who want a fun and relaxed wine-tasting exprerience close to Denver! read more

Really nice people wine was OK at best ... however, I am critical of wines, these were not my style. The Merlot is interesting, a smoke flavor that was hard to place, the Cab Sav was an easy drink, but not the bold flavor one expects. If you need a bottle to go select the Marv'lous.
