*** Mark my words ... "Asher is gonna blow up!" *** These guys are THE emerging brewery in Gunbarrel! Boulder has a plethora of microbreweries, as y'know. So what will make you think Asher will rise to the top? Two beers in particular ... and perhaps a third as well. The Greenade Double IPA has an amazingly distinctive full-bodied flavor, and the Green Monstah is terrific ale. Both are pretty strong (10% ABV) but you'd never know. Beers here are brewed using only organic ingredients. Perhaps that's why they have such a unique taste, uh? I dunno, but I'll say that I've never had better ale or IPA. I'm disappointed that they didn't have the Amber available in the tasting room; it's all sold out. I hear that it's great too. Tasting room is open daily 4-8pm and 2-7pm on Saturday. *** Definitely check it out sometime. You won't be sorry. ***

Dog Gemma loving the patio and a nice Oatmeal Stout!

This place is really great. A quiet and relaxing brewery with some really amazing organic brews. We like the Ginger Bomb Ale, however our dog Gemma really likes the Outmeal Stout! Great patio, sitting outside and enjoying moments of normalcy!

Awesome place that I can see myself frequenting. What can beat organic ales and a little competition? I had treehugger amber, which was really flavorful to my palette and had a good body. Service was quick. We walked up to the bar and were attended to promptly. We got there a little after dark. We were able to see the string lighting they have out front on the large, branchy tree outside. It stands next to and hangs out over an outdoors area. Looks nice for warm evenings. The front interior was dim lit and standing area. The back interior is bright. There are tables to sit at. There is darts, two cornhole sets, and foosball. One wall is covered with framed photographs, which is neat to look at. The other wall has a large piece of artwork that you should give yourself time to observe and reflect, if that's how you do. I want to come back and experience it again. Probably because they compost and that stole my heart.

    Couch lounge area inside.

This is Colorado's first all organic brewery. I am not a health nut, but thought this was interesting and was curious to see if there was any taste difference. We tried their IPAs both the regular and the DIPA. They definitely have a different taste, but I can't put my finger on what it is. My favorite beer was the Tree Hugger Amber. Ambers and Browns are my jam so I have had a lot of them. This one is really good. I could have sat out on their patio in the cool 60 degree sun all day long. I like that they are open at 2pm which is an hour earlier than most tap rooms in the area. Ari was super friendly and accommodating. They have a really nice space inside with a small bar area, a couch lounging area, and a huge game room in the back with cornhole, fooseball table, and dart boards. I would definitely stop back here when in the area.

Your warm and welcoming owner, Chris Asher.

We started with a flight and ranked them in this order: * Holy Craic Irish Red Ale (#2 for my wife) * Golden Boy Kolsch (#1 for my wife) * Steel Cut Stout * Twisted Amber (neither liked) * Dublin Magic Irish Stout (neither liked) After the flight, we both enjoyed two of the beers we enjoyed the most. For food, we each got a side Caesar salad. Large and with lots of flavor, they were very good. We each then got the Mediterranean pizza. I added chicken to mine. My wife liked hers, while I was disappointed in mine. I didn't find the flavor to be great, and the crust was rather flimsy and disappointing. Pizza here on our first visit had been great, so again, this was disappointing. Service was friendly enough. I'm sure we'll be back again.

From game days (televised or board/card) to happy hour catch ups I love coming here for the laid back and family friendly vibes. I've enjoyed having my birthday party here for the last handful of years (they have amazing event space). As it's family friendly my crew always feels happy to bring their well behaved little one along. While my friends are sure to bring activities for their kiddos (books, toys, educational iPad devices) some folks aren't as considerate. I've definitely had the unfortunate experience of kids running amuck while their parents are fully attentive only to their brewskis. This was particularly disturbing as I've been recovering from a knee injury for several months and my partner has often been with me and on crutches. Would love to see people take more responsibility for their children's behavior when taking them out in public for everyone's safety. While it's Boulder afterall I hold hope that parents will look after their kids if they decide to bring them in or drop them to the nearby kiddos climbing facility if they wanna play. Looking forward to many more good times with friends at this awesome locally owned gem.

Nothing has changed whatsoever. From the funky mural on the garage door to the sticker-lined walls of the cooler to the remote location on the less popular side of Boulder, Vision Quest is proof that us beer lovers still long for breweries of this nature. See Andrew H's recent review for his spot-on analysis! The beer selection rocks. Pales, porters, IPA's, lagers, sours, stouts, and ambers. Quality over quantity, while still maintaining a variety of flavors. I was in a pale/IPA mood last Friday, and the Hoosier Head and Boombox were quite tasty. Only a few seats at the bar, but plenty of seating indoors. If the weather is nice, you'll find everyone sitting outside staring at the mountains. They host community events, vinyl nights, have a bunch of board games, etc. These are the breweries of yesteryear. The one that skyrocketed the craft beer movement. They are a dime a dozen these days. Vision Quest is one of them, and you can still find that magic here.

Granted the ambiance here is very fun, it feels 'college' in the best sense of that term. The young people running that taps and hanging out gave me hope for the future. Crazy that chill college breweries like this still exist! Especially in a town with basic-ass hotels for $700/night.

One of our favorite things during the pandemic when restaurants could reopen was picking up their in house chicken pot pie. It's my husband's absolute favorite chicken recipe which I used to make myself. Though I am unable to make it now that l have lost a lot of vision and not a single one we have bought elsewhere was sufficient until we ordered from The Post Boulder. After a short time it became too labor intensive for the Post to make in house back then with limited staff so they contracted with a pie facility in Denver. Compared to their own it was merely adequate so we moved on to there other in house specialties. As we were ordering gold specials for Sunday!s big game, I saw that the daily specials now include Chicken Pot Pies Thursday's so we went to try it. This ficus a personal size freshly made this morning it was nice to have for a meal with a side salad. But though good, it was not as hearty as the one we loved 5 years ago. Staff was friendly and attentive and my husbands favorite beer (El Korn) was on tap and my iced tea was customized perfectly . We even brought most of the salad home as it was a large serving for a lunch. We'll be back on Sunday for our wings and other treats that we need to pick up. And we can come back again for a lunch or dinner as the have more items for people like me who cannot eat fried chucked, with their grilled chicken or salmon.

Started with the cauliflower bites in sweet chili sauce -- and let's be clear -- these were not polite, side-salad energy cauliflower. These were "touch one and we're no longer friends" cauliflower. Sweet, crispy, addictive. I fell in love against my will. Then the fried half chicken arrived. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside -- like someone's Southern aunt spent years perfecting it. And yes -- there's a gluten-free fried chicken option that somehow tastes just as good. A plot twist I didn't see coming. The collard greens had that smoky-sweet-Sunday vibe, and once the house hot sauce entered the chat? Full gospel choir moment. And William at the bar? Welcoming, honest, and actually tells you what's good -- not "everything is amazing" menu-script energy. The man can be trusted.

The hostess promptly seated us + gave us menus at a table just a few feet away from the bar. We waited from what I'd estimate 10-15 minutes for a server to come, but no server ever came. We tried to make eye contact with any passing servers or the manager as they passed by, but it did no good. Normally I'd chalk this up to a busy staff, but there were plenty of empty tables in the place, so it's not like all of the servers were overwhelmingly busy. After 10-15 minutes of waiting and trying to get anyone's attention, we picked up our belongings and left. We talked to the hostess briefly on our way out, but she didn't really have any commentary to provide on a reason for the wait. The worst part here is that this is actually the SECOND time this exact experience has happened when I've tried to visit Boulder Social over the past few months. I still have never had the opportunity to try a beer or pizza here, which is a shame, as I really want to support a local business. I've emailed the "info@bouldersocial.com" address, but there's been no response. Help me help you, Boulder Social!
