Really fun spot in an unassuming location! Came here on a chilly winter day for an afterwork drink date and was in awe of some of the decor aspects (the wood carved chairs ). Also found the pinball machines to be fun. I was feeling whiskey and went with their s'mores cocktail per the bartenders recommendation - amazing. It was pretty quiet so we had our pick up seats - opted for the comfy couch and didn't regret the decision. On the whole, enjoyed this spot and am looking forward to return! read more

Mad Rabbit is one of my favorite local watering holes. It's got a wacky Alice In Wonderland whimsical theme that's subtle & fun. They do tours and tastings, but we usually choose from their great variety of cocktails. They have a rotating specials list and I've had some of the best cocktails from their many different concoctions. We love coming here for the casual, laid back vibe and pinball! They have about 10 different machines and change up every so often. They also have a big bookcase of what seems like every game you can imagine. We haven't played any of those because we come for the pinball, but a cool spot to relax with a drink and play some games with your group. There's plenty of seating with a variety of tables for small to large groups. They have standing pub tables and a lounge area with a comfy couch as well as some outdoor seating on their back patio. They also serve food and have daily specials. We're a big fan of the sidewinder fries. The bartenders are great - attentive, friendly, and prompt with their service. It is definitely tucked in the back of the industry strip, but it is a chill place to meet up with friends and have some cocktails. They also have quite a few pinball machines to play, or you can just hang out with your friends at some tables or couches. The cocktails were tasty. If you like vodka, there was a cocktail with pineapple vodka, hibiscus, and I believe cranberry juice and something else. It was delicious. The service was great as well. Hidden GEM ! My wife and I had were lost at first trying to find this Bar, but once we found it we had one of the best experiences. First of all the service was incredible, we also met 2 regulars that made us feel right at home. I am REALLY picky when it comes to an Old fashioned and their Smoked Old Fashioned Blew me away. The first half of the drink gives you a little nibble and then becomes sweet towards the end; absolutely delicious. Their Agave Tequila that they make in house is also on Par with Don Julio 1942, which is crazy that I am saying that since I've been to Jalisco and I Know Tequila, but trust me their Añejo is delicious. read more

My boyfriend and I came here because we had a Groupon for a flight, cocktail, and distillery tour. It was awesome! The tour guide, Andy (I think that was his name) was very personable and down to earth. The bartender was sweet and we met the owner briefly. We each chose different liquors for our flights and enjoyed each one plus our cocktails were great. After the tour we also got the maple bacon old fashioned which was different but equally delicious. Everything on the menu looked great and while we didn't try any of the food offerings, we will definitely be back. The bar was an intimate setting and the pinball machines were great. This place is definitely off the beaten path but is definitely worth seeking out. We came out on a Friday night and I was super shocked how empty it was because it was super cute inside. Fun Alice in Wonderland vibe. Drinks were yummy and the cocktail menu was very extensive... so many drinks, some were a little too sugar-y for me. When you think of a distillery you think it would be a place that highlights the spirits they make. Their drink menu was a book and each drink had so many ingredients it was hard to find one that highlighted and spirit. The person I came with said it felt like a chili's or apple bees drink menu, you could slim it down and have a few really good drinks. We ordered green chili fries and they came out with cold green chili and a pile of unmelted shredded cheese. The ambience was nice until someone started playing the very loud pinball games. If they just turned the volume down on those it wouldn't be a terrible to sit and visit with people if you don't mind ordering a strange named drink with a bunch of stuff to cover up the alcohol. read more

In town visiting family. Seems I have forgotten my way around town, so my brother took me out for a drive to get my bearings back. Of course I saw a Distillery sign along the road and took a sharp, sudden, left turn. I must stop I said to him. He just smiled. Inside we found a quaint little space with cool chairs and a welcoming bar top with a friendly bar-gal. We ordered a 'everything' taster and set out to see what was up with this. It was only $9. BONUS right there! First up was the vodka: It was quite nice, smooth with a fruity finish. On to the Gin: Also smooth, was pretty great, without heavy juniper. Nice Citrus finish White rum would be a great mixer, smooth as the day is long I was blessed with 3 bourbons. They were all pretty good, but I can't wait to see when they get some seniors onto the table. They have a 4, 6 and 7 year at this point. Their Rye was Bushmill'ish to me. Not my favorite. We decided to get a cheese and meat tray. This was well worth the money and was ample for 3 people to share. The Bar-Gal was super nice, but they should have had help for her. Poor thing was running around on fire. She kept up pretty good though. It looks like they have a fun out-door space. Kids are welcome. It got a bit loud, so if quiet is what you are looking for while you enjoy your Whiskey, prepare yourself. They are going to be open on Sundays now as well. All in all, for this 'self-proclaimed whiskey snob', it was worth the stop. read more

The vibe is amazing. Try a flight at the bar for excellent service. The watermelon mint slush creation is so incredibly delicious. Love the pinball and the patio... but you guys need way better cocktails. Maraschino cherries in the old fashioned? C'mon! Get the real Italian ones! Adding vodka to nonalcoholic wine? Wat? You have a fun vibe but if your distilling your own spirits you've got to up your cocktail game. Your menu reads like a cocktail list from a Denver Steakhouse in 1989. The owners need to visit the Tartarian, Williams & Graham, and top Denver restaurants for some inspiration. You don't have to be that fancy but you are not doing your spirits justice with your current menu- it sucks! read more

Why did it take me 2 years to come here? I love this place because they make high quality spirits, the drinks are delicious, and the owners/staff are very nice and accommodating. We came here on a Sunday and my husband and I enjoyed our Sunday funday here. He ordered multiple bourbon drinks and I ordered a bourbon drink along with a mule and the strawberry mojito (don't worry we ubered). All of our drinks were so tasty and we got to try some of their 100% agave tequila which had no bite and I must buy a bottle of this. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I can't Believe it's two minute walk from my house if I cross through the creek in the culdesac I live in. I walk a 1/4 mile to Whistling Hare and thought that was the closest, but Now I found this place. I've seen the advertisement, but never really thought to go. A friend of mine had a groupon and so I joined them and others there. Tanya the bartendress is Awesome and was so informative. We got to take a tour and usually it's only by appointment on Fri and sats, but because they just opened we were able to take a tour and it was AWESOME! I took notes because it was super fascinating. I took a ton of pics, which I need to upload the rest. We had a tasting and the Vodka was SOOOO dang good. My fave which I'm going to buy is the V.I. Rum!! I'm a rum girl, must be my Puerto Rican side, but it is Deliciously Orgasmic and super smooth. I'm actually glad I didn't really know or try this place out sooner because having been a former alcoholic, I would've been living here since it's literally a 2 minute walk. Now that I drink socially only, it's more safe for me. They have delicious food too! One thing that is a must try is to have the mescal mule with Thai chile.. It's not hot or overly spicy and has a smooth quick kick to it and the after taste linger is soo Dreamy. Tanya Really knew her stuff and I know that' that's her job, but she does it well. The good thing here, is that it's more secluded and ALOT of parking. They have the 3 units right next to each other and the distillery where all the Magic happens is the Unit 2 doors down. Our tour was so Fascinating and I love learning about new things and education myself beyond just drinking and dare I say "drunk" lol This gonna be my go to place when I feel like enjoying their flavorful spirits and mixed drinks. The Mad Rabbit is about 5 minutes from the BF's house and we both agreed that this will get us into huge amounts of trouble. The vodka here is unlike any I've ever tasted - SO SMOOTH. Bourbon is pretty on point too. Rum is "fine", but I'm not a huge rum fan, so really who cares what I think about that? The space is HUGE. Lots of areas for lounging and little groups. Ladyfriend and I stopped in randomly on a Sunday late afternoon after wanting to get out of the house; our low carb diet has us doing a lot of meal planning and avoiding beer, so we opted for a distillery instead of a brewery to break up the monotony of a Sunday spent in the kitchen prepping meals for the week. It's a fun space inside, with some really interesting wooden furniture just as you walk in the door -- It's as if someone decided that instead of the Iron Throne, they'd like to make the Pine Throne (though I don't actually know the type of wood). Mad Rabbit is the business, and Bravo Zulu is a military-inspired booze brand offered in tastings and in cocktails in the tap room. They make Gin - it's very, very light on the juniper. Super accessible Gin. They make Rum - it's white rum, so understand that it's going to be "harsh" and alcohol-y. They make Vodka - among the smoothest vodkas I've ever had. No taste at all. Perfect when you want to taste the mixer instead of the alcohol. They make Whiskey - 3, 6, and 7 year expressions make up their brown liquor bill, all slightly different than the one before it, and all pretty tasty. The 6 and 7 have some good caramel notes, with some roast on the back end of the flavor. The 3 isn't bad, though it's a little young for me personally. I prefer something that's been on oak longer and pulls more and more out of that charred barrel. They've also got a few snacks, and are working on a kitchen to offer even more tasty vittles in the near future. It's not super close to home for me, but I'll be back again when I've got some time to kill in Westy. It's a fun stop! And Distilleries are the new Breweries, after all. read more

He makes good spirits, understands their function profoundly in mixed drinks, and provides a wonderful ambience for people to drink and eat. I've been to Mad Rabbit quite a few times and the employees have always been great. Today however, the woman that was working really made us feel that she didn't want us there. We live in Denver so we always go out of our way to drive out to the distillery to buy their Reposado Agave spirit. We also ordered some pineapple slushees that we were planning to enjoy at the distillery as we were forced to buy chips to go along with them, and since we walked in to find other guests enjoying cocktails. Nope, she didn't ask and instead assumed and just made our cocktails to go. As much as I love their spirits, I may not be back to buy any for a while. read more

She took our order and immediately came back to ask what it was again then never made one drink and avoided us until we left. There was only 3 other people there. She happened to be telling a story about black people and we had a black person in our party so maybe it was a racially motivated move. This spot is really nice. It's smaller, but you see a lot of regulars, which to me says they're doing something right. They have a lot of different spirits to try, and they're all good. They cocktails are also all good. can't wait to come back and try more. I just wish they were open later, but the spot itself is kind of hidden. I'm guessing it's not as busy later, which I get. Lots of my co-workers come here often, as the work building is close by. Unfortunately I work at my company's Boulder spot, otherwise I'd stop by more often. A snack seemed necessary, so we ordered twisty potatoes which danced on our taste buds. Thanks to Kai, amazing prep!
