What a great dtc find! We are wine club members here and love it. The owners are such nice people and so welcoming (even when I've brought my baby/toddler in on occasion). I love that they have a wine club where you get 2 3-or-6 packs a year vs each month as we don't drink that much at home. Also, they do a twice annual party for their wine club when it's time to pick up your shipments that is amazing- unlimited wine tastes, food, live music, and their great patio. My only downside for a day to day visit is that you have to purchase a bottle vs a glass so hopefully you are with others who all agree on what to try!

A new wine tasting experience in Colorado? Tell me more. One of the best ways to try and experience good wine is that relaxed wine tasting experience. This is an experience where you remove the all that external "noise" and get to try a flight of wines and sometimes paired cheese selection with each wine. When you walk into Ladrón Cellars you feel immediately relaxed with the decor and smiling hosts. This is very rare to have thugs more "traditional" tasting experience vs the wine bar feel. We were able to taste their main flight as well the reserve flight. Both were delicious and smoothly guided you through the different blends and tastes follow. Well balanced and some nice complexities that peeked out in each sip. A few wines that I enjoyed (and picked up a few bottles) this visit were the Matador which was mostly Tempranillo with a little zin (perfect note of some pepper). The other one I really enjoyed was their 2018 Knuckles. This bottle had and old school bare knuckle boxer art on the front and did it's "jab"on my palate. We got to have a tour of threat back area and wine making facility and future barrel tasting room. Even though when I came to visit it was snowing out, but they have an amazing patio and looks like a relaxing place to take in a sunset with some wine. Overall ver satisfied and so glad I found this new wine tasting experience. I recommend you to try it out, say hello to Tracy and the crew, and let me know which was your favorite from the flight?

This place is a hidden gem. Their wine collection was spot on. I am a lover of variety and a selection of blends and they had both. Additionally, I love when businesses make things their own. They have a local artist do all of their labels for them and I loved the creativity. The one of the owners Tracy was super knowledgeable and helpful and we would love to go back. This great for big or small parties.

New in the Tech Center off Arapahoe and Lima. Beautiful space with a great balcony looking out at the mountains. The tastings were fantastic and the charcuterie plate was great. Really enjoyed the attention and knowledge of the owners. You can buy by the bottle. Great date night or GNO place!

Prices are great. They have a good selections from affordable to high end. My husband went in to buy a bottle of champagne to celebrate a big accomplishment and the owner Dustin helped him pick one that changed our life! Haha ok maybe not life changing but it definitely was the BEST. I have gotten some help picking wines, I have gotten suggestion for food/wine pairing. Walking into pearl wine company is like walking to your super cool friends house that know everything about wine! Take a second and stop in! Admire the shop, chat with the employees grab a bottle of wine and plan your next trip back! Oh and if you can stop in for a wine or liquor sampling.. such a fun little event!

For example I saw they had a Volpaia Chianti Classico for 28 bucks and at Argonaut that same bottle is 17. Another of my favorite bottles Chateau De Beaucastel Chateauneuf-du-Pape is 95 dollars here vs 85 other places. One more of my favorite bottles Domaine Faury Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah is 33 here and 25 other places. I'm all for supporting small business, but you're paying anywhere from a 12% to 55% up charge on bottles of wine here. Unfortunately this place is way way too expensive to be a regular stop for me.

So much good food and drinks! I was thinking the drinks would only be wine, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cocktails. There were really long lines, so maybe reduce the number of attendees? Add music and vino to the evening and you've really got this girls attention!! North Italia had an excellent ravioli. That ravioli also helped them take the "People's Choice" Award for the evening. Second Home won "Best Dessert" for a delicious custard with vermouth soaked cherry dessert that I think I will be dreaming of! Stranhan's had a great whiskey infused with Palisade peaches. Hillstone Restaurant featured some of the best ribs I think I have ever had the joy of consuming. Kobe An brought not only their A game by decking out their table with a sushi boat but also adorning their representatives this evening with kabuki/geisha style makeup and dress. No wonder they won "Best Table Display!" But they also featured 2 kinds of California rolls' (one with avacado on top and one with a fresh strawberry) and pot stickers. How can you turn down a pot sticker?! You can't, that's how. You just can't. Bombay Clay Oven had a wonderful mango yogurt smoothie and some mouth watering chicken tikka. Aviano coffee had a fantastic iced coffee creation that paired fabulously with Enstrom Candies chocolate treats. Oh how I could go on, and on... The band "Mostly Harmless" was great!! I really enjoyed the covers/songs they chose to play. You could tell the patrons were rocking out as they indulged in all the libations!! The only reason that I lowered them a star rating was because the event felt very crowded. Especially once the general admission folks were admitted it became very difficult to move through the crowd. Also when it came to the People's Choice Award I don't think there was enough buzz from the get go to encourage people to vote. All that being said I can't wait to come back and see how this neighborhood event develops and also stuff my belly with more tasty treats than should be allowed in one evening. :)
