I can certainly appreciate a business like this. Despite their humble existence (kind of tucked in this building and its entrance isn't facing Colorado Blvd) the quality they produce and provide is top-notch. How come I didn't notice them until today is one of the mysteries I need to fathom for the rest of my life(!) but I now can brag about knowing it and tell others about it!! The store is pretty small but it somehow gives you a spacious feeling. Widely stretched counter where there are two different displays of chocolates is one thing. The coffee bar to the left still has an ample amount of space where it's not all cramped. Let's get to what I got me at the visit today. I wanted something simple to drink so I ordered a double shot of espresso. The guy was so kind enough to let me know that if you say "double", you'll get 4 shots of espresso at this store because if you order one espresso that'll be automatically double so he courteously clarified that with me. And I was glancing through the display of chocolates, he said to get a box of them (4-piece one) as he immediately got the impression that I was going get more than a few piece (each piece is $3 but if you are getting 3 or more then you might as well go ahead and get a box as you'll save money.) This small but impeccable attention to detail manifested by him impressed me. Please see the pictures of the 4 pieces of the chocolates I got today and I have to tell you, Mimosas, Death Star, Passion Rum, and Orange Habanero were just simply amazing to say the very least. Each one is so uniquely made and I just can't simply rank them from No1. to No. 4. I've been to many different chocolatiers in my entire life but this place might be my No. 1 as of now! IT'S THAT GOOD! When I was about to leave the shop after I had gotten everything I wanted, the barista lady kindly asked me if I wanted a bag for my chocolate box. Another warm attention to detail was extended to me. The quality of the chocolates and top notch customer service are a few reasons as to why I'm giving this place a perfect 5-star review. I'm simply impressed.

When planning gifts recently for family members, I saw that Stargazer was well rated on Yelp so I decided to check it out. (Also nice that they offer a Yelp check-in offer). They have a nice selection (not huge but enough) of truffles and chocolates with several pre-packaged gift boxes. The woman behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful. She wrapped the gift boxes for me in tissue paper. The truffles were very good-also enjoyed a latte while I was there.

How have I lived down the street for over 3 years and never been here?! This place is so cute! Hidden inside a little plaza next to Snooze and Anthony's, Stargazer Fine Chocolates is a family owned business with so much charm and character. Little Easter decorations galore! I'm always nervous to check out some specialty chocolate shops because sometimes the prices can be steep, but here they were very fair. I got a chocolate covered marshmallow and a chocolate covered Oreo - $2 each. Very reasonable. Plus if you check in on Yelp, they give you a complimentary cup of coffee! Staff was also very friendly. I have to come back next time I need a little pick me up.

    Finally checking this place out!

Incredible service and the chocolates were so unique and flavorful! Loved the coffee options too! Just a great vibe!

Sometimes you're just craving chocolate and it's not Valentine's nor Galentine's Day. Fear not! Stargrazer creates amazing and tasty chocolate artwork year round. You can walk in and create your own box from a selection of house made truffles or purchase one of their pre-created and wrapped boxes. A few of my favorites were the habanero which had honeycomb for crunch and spicy jelly to offset the richness of the truffle. The ganache with three types of chocolate and a semi-bitter cocoa to balance the sweetness was divine!!

Taking in a delightful cup of hot chocolate with friends. Friendly service, great options. Recommended to visit when in Denver!

This is a really great veteran owned business!!! They make such unique and flavorful chocolates! Treat yourself and grab some for a friend too. The habanero chocolate actually had some spice to it, which is so rare to find!! We had some super rich hot chocolates too! These are my favorite gifts to send people!

If you want high-quality, gourmet chocolate, this is the place to go! You can't go wrong with any of the options here, but I especially loved the chai tea chocolate and the cute animal pops.

I was greeted by one of the owners, Gonzo Jimenez (he was on Netflix's Bake Squad reality show) when I approached the counter. I ended up purchasing the following: White Chocolate Strawberry Swirl, $8.50 prior to tax and fees- Of the two bars that I purchased, this one was my favorite. I love white chocolate, especially when combined with fruit or peppermint or dark chocolate. This was a nice creamy bar that really complemented the strawberry flavors. I would purchase this bar again. The only down side is that this bar is thin and I think this bar is pricey for what it is. Pistachio Milk Chocolate Bar, $9.85 prior to tax and fees- According to Gonzo Jimenez, this bar is their take on the trendy Dubai chocolate. I was definitely disappointed with this bar. There really wasn't that much pistachio and a higher ratio of chocolate. This bar was just average for me and wouldn't purchase it again. ------------------------------------ (Total= $20.10 after tax and fees) There are numerous of chocolate desserts, chocolates, bars, etc that one can choose from at this little boutique. But they are a bit pricey, but that's because these are artisan chocolates and some are very pretty. Gonzo Jimenez did tell me that you can also purchase some of their items online, including the bars I purchased (shipping is extra but if you feeling extra spendy, if your order $150 then you can get free shipping).

When I found Bibamba while I was at Edgewater Food Hall to get me a plate of Ethiopian food, I stumbled up it by accident. The kind lady who was manning the register inside was above and beyond while I was sampling different types of chocolate barks along the window shelves. She explained to me that the store opened about three years ago. Really? I am pretty sure I had come here within that time frame at least once. I guess I had missed this place out of ignorance. Well, I, at least, discovered it. This is a Colorado store which imports cacao beans from Cameroon as the owner runs/owns a farm in the African country. Per the information board on the wall, the farm sustainably sources everything. I certainly appreciate businesses that focus on social responsibility. The chocolate bark samples I tried were all exquisite. After tasting, I walked around a bit to take some photos of the interior. Yes, this store is quite different than other typical chocolatiers for sure. You'll have visit it and see for yourself. The glass showcase upfront had truffles, cakes and parfaits all nicely displayed. The decadent looking cake or the parfait were tantalizing. Unfortunately, however, they were a little too big for me. Hence I decided to go with several pieces of the small chocolates as they all were of a good size. I got me two truffles and one chocolate piece. And they were.... -Black Forest Buzz Truffle -Cinnamon Roll Truffle -Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Including tax and tip, all came to less than $14. Quite decent, I thought. I enjoyed all of them but my absolute shout-out goes to the Black Forest Buzz Truffle. It was so good where I wanted to go back to the shop immediately to get me another one. Yes, I agree. As the store name says it all, this is an artisan chocolate shop. The skills and techniques they use to create those outstanding chocolate pieces are high-quality, one-of-a-kind goods that are distinguished from others. You won't taste something like this in those mass-produced ones sold at the store we go to daily. Bibamba simply became my absolute favorite chocolatier that day. The only complaint? It's not very close from my southeast Denver house!!!

Here is why you should go here: - Small family owned and run…read morebusiness. - All Cacao comes from their 56-acre farm in Cameroon (Central Africa). - No slave labor used at all. - Only the finest ingredients used. - Everything they make and sell is organic and sustainable. Took a chocolate truffle making class and learned all about chocolate production and chocolate making. The owners are passionate about their chocolate, and it shows. First, we started with a presentation with photos of their farm in Cameroon and how they harvest, ferment, and dry their cacao beans, followed by roasting, winnowing (removing shells), and grinding into "cocoa liquor". Then bagging in 150-pound bags and shipping directly to their warehouse in Colorado. From here, their employees mix with sugar/milk and make the most organically rich and pure chocolate. It takes about a week in the melanger (mixer) for the cacao and sugar to blend into smooth, rich and creamy deliciousness. In the hands-on portion of the class, we took some of their 50% cacao and made dark chocolate truffles, rolled in a large variety of toppings--dried strawberries, pink sugar, pistachios, cookie crumble, peppermint. Of course, we all went home with lots of tasty samples to share of (eat alone.). Very interesting, tasty and fun. Their store is worth visiting as it is absolutely beautiful with numerous products on display. If you like chocolate or have a chocolate lover in your close circle --then you need to stop at Bibamba and get some chocolate love. Fun fact: Bibamba also provides their special chocolate confections to the very best restaurants in town. Finally, this class was brought to us by Slow Food Denver, a non-profit, committed to the enjoyment of local food, and who seeks to create a more just and sustainable food system. Slow Food Denver values cultivating community and connection, restoring biodiversity, celebrating food cultures, defending social and economic equality, and protecting the environment.

There are a bunch of different places to check out inside, so everyone can grab exactly what they want and still sit together. Today, I specifically visited Call Your Mother, a Jewish deli, and Izzio Bakery. Atmosphere: Since I went right around the time they opened, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. It was super laid-back and chill, making it the perfect place to get out of the house for a calm morning. As it gets later into the day and through the weekends, I know it gets very busy, but there is plenty of random seating throughout the hall and even some outdoor spots if you prefer. Parking: Parking is going to be street parking. Make sure you read the signs, but it is usually free. Even when the market is busy, I usually don't have to walk more than a block to get inside. So it is a very convenient location for the RiNo area. Service: The customer service throughout the market is great. At Call Your Mother, the cashier was very sweet, and they even text you when your food is ready. Over at Izzio Bakery, everyone is super kind and helpful while you're looking at their amazing pastry display. Even with a line, you're usually only waiting about 10 to 12 minutes for your items. Food: The food variety here is incredible. I tried the Sun City breakfast bagel sandwich from Call Your Mother and the hot honey was the perfect balance of sweet and spice on a toasted bagel. For a sweet treat, I went to Izzio Bakery for the Dulce de Leche Queen. The pastry case there looks like something out of a movie. The pastry itself was perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious yellow vanilla cream and cinnamon on the inside. Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy coming here and trying new places. It is a fantastic destination for groups or just a solo morning out. Whether you want a savory breakfast bagel sandwich or a beautiful pastry, The Denver Central Market always hits the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more.
