Basically a tourist trap/novelty sweets shop. Definitely much pricer than searching for yourself at a grocery store or market, but if you're dragged in there with kids or craving something sweet in bulk that's a bit harder to find, what are you gonna do? There are a lot of merchandise items that may be a bit more difficult to find, like pillows of the snack packaging, cute plushies of the Nerds, shirts, socks, etc. There are some sweets and snacks that are a bit harder to find, but most of these things aren't super exotic or imported. The hubs n I were looking for the infamous Dubai chocolate bar. At first I got excited that they had it. However, after further examination it was a knock off. It wasn't even made in Dubai! And the audacity to charge $14.99!! Now the 3 stars is mostly for their outrageous prices. The mango peely gummies! The ones all over tick tok was going for $6!! Find them at the dollar tree or 5 below.. The store is bright and colorful. Lots of hello kitty merch and hard candies that you can buy in bulk. I've been to several of their locations in Las Vegas. Basically your ultimate novelty candy store. My favorite things to get is the candy sushi. And the by weight bin candy because you can mix and match anything in the store. And I love a good mix. They also have a small international section, an "adult" section and a new freeze dried section. The prices are pretty up there and candy by weight can add up quick. But if you want unique and interesting candy options and money is no object than will probably love this place. read more

Talk about a selection! This place has everything and anything you could ask for in candy. They also have hoodies, pillows, Harry Potter candies, and fun drinks! After dinner on 16th Street Mall, my friends and I were craving something sweet! I'be never heard of It's Sugar but figured there would be some candy inside. Little did I know I would be walking into a huge candy shop! They had old school candy, new candy trends, new brands, old brands with new twists. Kudos to this location for kindly enforcing CoV19 guidelines. Every employee was absolutely kind and very forgiving especially appreciated during Small Business Saturday. Capacity management enforced and with a sincere apologetic nature. Product was abundant, the displays clean and presentable and sampling very verboten (good). We didn't feel rushed or crowded and we found some fun items that go perfectly as stocking stuffers. Again, downtown pricey but that is expected. Evryrhing else...well kudos to the staff at It'Sugar. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and I was genuinely curious to see this place. It's next to Henry's Tavern on 16th street mall. They have a wide variety of candy to choose from, ranging from cotton candy to sour patch kids. The odd ball here, at least for me. is that they charge 10 cents per bag. Since I don't live here this doesn't happen often (where I live they don't charge money for bags). I picked up a 90's candy variety pack, which consisted of laffy taffies, airheads, cry babies, and sour punch sticks. I was born in the 90's so this was nostalgic to me. Alongside this, I also picked up bubble tape (another blast from the past), cotton candy, rip rolls in both strawberry and blue raspberry, sour patch kids and a star shaped lollipop. Parents beware!!! Many adult themed items highly visible to children. Books and candies focused on sexualization are all around the store so be prepared for your children to be exposed to this before entering. This store is 3/4 candy, 1/4 Spencer's gifts and left my young one very embarrassed and confused after picking up a gummy penis thinking it was a children's candy. How dare you force this exposure on my kids at an age earlier than they should be. Some warning signs about mature content or a separate area is recommended. I'm calling corporate on this man. He does not need to be working in a public. Kennith the manager was apparently done with his night and took it out on a guest. Being my friend and I. Accusing me of stealing candy. Really, as I looked around we were the only ones holding the official purchase bag. The other folks were walking around empty handed minus the candy they took from the bins without a purchase bag. My issue is him snatching the bag (a paying customer) so hard out of my hand he actually ripped the plastic. I was shocked and pulled out my phone to record his unprofessional behavior. Managers are supposed to Deescalate a situation not become the issue. He proceeding to tell us he is not genetically white when he accused me of playing the race card. Wow! By this time I was writing my review while in the store. He knew he was in the wrong and began acting nervous. He ended up giving my friend the bag of candy for free to try and make things right. There's very good variety of candy and tastes good. However, my sister and I had two bags of candy each both of her bags were 1/4lb. Of my two bags one was 1/4lb and the other 1/2lb.The cashier didn't weigh our bags and charged me 1/2lb on all 4 of our bags which is double the price of just the 1/4lb. He didn't ask me if I wanted my receipt so when I asked for the receipt he had already crumpled it up and threw it under the counter and said to me he doesn't think he will be able to find it. I'm gonna re-review this store again: crazy girl who was a total shit-show constantly tried removing it! Well not this time!! This was my 1st job back when I was 18, noticed a lot had changed! Wooo! They now carry Rilakkuma and more of Pusheen. Both of my two favorite brands ever. I was always a fan of their asian candy, but noticed they no longer carry Panda Cones! 1 pound of candy is still $13.95 and the Ramune Japanese soda is totally top notch. I was surprised they sold politician novelty toys of Hillary and Trump. This election is very savvy and out of control they make fun from it. Loved this candy store, always! This is an interesting little candy store. They have bulk candy that you can scoop out and pay buy the pound. they also have candy and other sweets from all over the world. Venture further back in the store and you will find giant sized versions of the candy we all know, love, and grew up with. Owner was extremely rude when she informed me that only the small boxes were 14.99 to fill, not the plastic bag. The sign only read 14.99 to fill and did not mention if it was a box or bag. If you're looking for some specific candy or a unique gift (even adult themed) you have a good chance of finding it here. You're going to pay for it though. Nothing really sets this place apart from other candy stores.
