    $3/truffle

There is a wide assortment of sweet treats, so there's something for everyone. There are several different displays with cute decorations. The employees were very friendly and attentive. The packaging used for the truffles is so simple, yet so pretty. The truffles tasted as good as they look. My favorite might be the banana foster truffle!! The truffles are $3 a piece and they offer so many different flavors.

Great chocolates and nice staff. I tried the ruby chocolate which was great as is because of the nice color. The flavor was great too. It was fruity but not too sweet so it was perfect. No complaints.

Beautiful setup and yummy chocolates everywhere!

I can't recommend this shop enough for great holiday gifts! Who doesn't love chocolate?! And it's small batch chocolate from our local chocolatier! The setup was very inviting, with invigorating smells of chocolate. It was also 'Covid friendly'. I was greeted right away and helped as well. I wanted to buy some small gifts for our postman and garbage truck driver. It was recommended to buy these delicious chocolate covered Oreos. I actually found chocolate peppermint wreaths that worked beautifully. The payment was cashless and distanced for safety. I was so happy to find this little beauty as I navigate through this holiday season with small and local businesses in mind!

I've lived 3 minutes away from this place for three years and only *just* went on a random impulse chocolate craving. This place is *amazing*. It's really awesome to find food quality chocolate and sweets, because I notice I eat less of them and never feel gross afterwards. Their selection of flavors is amazing - AND they have MARZIPAN!!!!! Literally no other shop in the area has marzipan. Trust me. I've checked. If you have a sweet tooth, or need a last minute birthday gift, I highly recommend this place. You truly won't regret it!

Was looking for a local Chocolate company to buy my wife some chocolate for her birthday. Found Deiter's on Google. Took the train from downtown and was only a 10 minute walk from the University of Denver Station. Young lady behind the counter was sooo helpful!!! I told her what I was looking for and she took the time to switch out some chocolates to make sure I got one of each.... Prices were reasonable for gourmet chocolates. Same quality as you would get over in Europe! Found out they ship as well!

What a joy to have a locally owned, native chocolate shop here in Denver that offers such a delicious array of hand made goodies! They have wine and chocolate pairing events and this really unique whiskey barrel coffee (also brewed in Colorado) on tap that you can also get mixed in with their new treat, a Frozen Hot Chocolate that they're launching this weekend (you can buy the mix to make it at home, too). My personal favorite is the Marzapan and the Sea Salt Caramel Turtles that just hit all the notes you want in a decadent treat that's still not overpowering so you can feel good about having a second one, or a sixth one. Adrienne, the chocolatier, has an artist's touch and it shows through in all the products she makes on site. I don't bother with national chocolate chains after finding this neighborhood jem.

I was greeted by one of the owners, Gonzo Jimenez (he was on Netflix's Bake Squad reality show) when I approached the counter. I ended up purchasing the following: White Chocolate Strawberry Swirl, $8.50 prior to tax and fees- Of the two bars that I purchased, this one was my favorite. I love white chocolate, especially when combined with fruit or peppermint or dark chocolate. This was a nice creamy bar that really complemented the strawberry flavors. I would purchase this bar again. The only down side is that this bar is thin and I think this bar is pricey for what it is. Pistachio Milk Chocolate Bar, $9.85 prior to tax and fees- According to Gonzo Jimenez, this bar is their take on the trendy Dubai chocolate. I was definitely disappointed with this bar. There really wasn't that much pistachio and a higher ratio of chocolate. This bar was just average for me and wouldn't purchase it again. ------------------------------------ (Total= $20.10 after tax and fees) There are numerous of chocolate desserts, chocolates, bars, etc that one can choose from at this little boutique. But they are a bit pricey, but that's because these are artisan chocolates and some are very pretty. Gonzo Jimenez did tell me that you can also purchase some of their items online, including the bars I purchased (shipping is extra but if you feeling extra spendy, if your order $150 then you can get free shipping).

When I found Bibamba while I was at Edgewater Food Hall to get me a plate of Ethiopian food, I stumbled up it by accident. The kind lady who was manning the register inside was above and beyond while I was sampling different types of chocolate barks along the window shelves. She explained to me that the store opened about three years ago. Really? I am pretty sure I had come here within that time frame at least once. I guess I had missed this place out of ignorance. Well, I, at least, discovered it. This is a Colorado store which imports cacao beans from Cameroon as the owner runs/owns a farm in the African country. Per the information board on the wall, the farm sustainably sources everything. I certainly appreciate businesses that focus on social responsibility. The chocolate bark samples I tried were all exquisite. After tasting, I walked around a bit to take some photos of the interior. Yes, this store is quite different than other typical chocolatiers for sure. You'll have visit it and see for yourself. The glass showcase upfront had truffles, cakes and parfaits all nicely displayed. The decadent looking cake or the parfait were tantalizing. Unfortunately, however, they were a little too big for me. Hence I decided to go with several pieces of the small chocolates as they all were of a good size. I got me two truffles and one chocolate piece. And they were.... -Black Forest Buzz Truffle -Cinnamon Roll Truffle -Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Including tax and tip, all came to less than $14. Quite decent, I thought. I enjoyed all of them but my absolute shout-out goes to the Black Forest Buzz Truffle. It was so good where I wanted to go back to the shop immediately to get me another one. Yes, I agree. As the store name says it all, this is an artisan chocolate shop. The skills and techniques they use to create those outstanding chocolate pieces are high-quality, one-of-a-kind goods that are distinguished from others. You won't taste something like this in those mass-produced ones sold at the store we go to daily. Bibamba simply became my absolute favorite chocolatier that day. The only complaint? It's not very close from my southeast Denver house!!!

Here is why you should go here: - Small family owned and run…read morebusiness. - All Cacao comes from their 56-acre farm in Cameroon (Central Africa). - No slave labor used at all. - Only the finest ingredients used. - Everything they make and sell is organic and sustainable. Took a chocolate truffle making class and learned all about chocolate production and chocolate making. The owners are passionate about their chocolate, and it shows. First, we started with a presentation with photos of their farm in Cameroon and how they harvest, ferment, and dry their cacao beans, followed by roasting, winnowing (removing shells), and grinding into "cocoa liquor". Then bagging in 150-pound bags and shipping directly to their warehouse in Colorado. From here, their employees mix with sugar/milk and make the most organically rich and pure chocolate. It takes about a week in the melanger (mixer) for the cacao and sugar to blend into smooth, rich and creamy deliciousness. In the hands-on portion of the class, we took some of their 50% cacao and made dark chocolate truffles, rolled in a large variety of toppings--dried strawberries, pink sugar, pistachios, cookie crumble, peppermint. Of course, we all went home with lots of tasty samples to share of (eat alone.). Very interesting, tasty and fun. Their store is worth visiting as it is absolutely beautiful with numerous products on display. If you like chocolate or have a chocolate lover in your close circle --then you need to stop at Bibamba and get some chocolate love. Fun fact: Bibamba also provides their special chocolate confections to the very best restaurants in town. Finally, this class was brought to us by Slow Food Denver, a non-profit, committed to the enjoyment of local food, and who seeks to create a more just and sustainable food system. There are a bunch of different places to check out inside, so everyone can grab exactly what they want and still sit together. Today, I specifically visited Call Your Mother, a Jewish deli, and Izzio Bakery. Atmosphere: Since I went right around the time they opened, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. It was super laid-back and chill, making it the perfect place to get out of the house for a calm morning. As it gets later into the day and through the weekends, I know it gets very busy, but there is plenty of random seating throughout the hall and even some outdoor spots if you prefer. Parking: Parking is going to be street parking. Make sure you read the signs, but it is usually free. Even when the market is busy, I usually don't have to walk more than a block to get inside. So it is a very convenient location for the RiNo area. Service: The customer service throughout the market is great. At Call Your Mother, the cashier was very sweet, and they even text you when your food is ready. Over at Izzio Bakery, everyone is super kind and helpful while you're looking at their amazing pastry display. Even with a line, you're usually only waiting about 10 to 12 minutes for your items. Food: The food variety here is incredible. I tried the Sun City breakfast bagel sandwich from Call Your Mother and the hot honey was the perfect balance of sweet and spice on a toasted bagel. For a sweet treat, I went to Izzio Bakery for the Dulce de Leche Queen. The pastry case there looks like something out of a movie. The pastry itself was perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious yellow vanilla cream and cinnamon on the inside. Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy coming here and trying new places. It is a fantastic destination for groups or just a solo morning out. Whether you want a savory breakfast bagel sandwich or a beautiful pastry, The Denver Central Market always hits the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more.
