We started with a flight and ranked them in this order: * Holy Craic Irish Red Ale (#2 for my wife) * Golden Boy Kolsch (#1 for my wife) * Steel Cut Stout * Twisted Amber (neither liked) * Dublin Magic Irish Stout (neither liked) After the flight, we both enjoyed two of the beers we enjoyed the most. For food, we each got a side Caesar salad. Large and with lots of flavor, they were very good. We each then got the Mediterranean pizza. I added chicken to mine. My wife liked hers, while I was disappointed in mine. I didn't find the flavor to be great, and the crust was rather flimsy and disappointing. Pizza here on our first visit had been great, so again, this was disappointing. Service was friendly enough. I'm sure we'll be back again.

From game days (televised or board/card) to happy hour catch ups I love coming here for the laid back and family friendly vibes. I've enjoyed having my birthday party here for the last handful of years (they have amazing event space). As it's family friendly my crew always feels happy to bring their well behaved little one along. While my friends are sure to bring activities for their kiddos (books, toys, educational iPad devices) some folks aren't as considerate. I've definitely had the unfortunate experience of kids running amuck while their parents are fully attentive only to their brewskis. This was particularly disturbing as I've been recovering from a knee injury for several months and my partner has often been with me and on crutches. Would love to see people take more responsibility for their children's behavior when taking them out in public for everyone's safety. While it's Boulder afterall I hold hope that parents will look after their kids if they decide to bring them in or drop them to the nearby kiddos climbing facility if they wanna play. Looking forward to many more good times with friends at this awesome locally owned gem.

You will have to go through an app to pay for parking. This place only accepts cash. They do have an ATM on-site, if needed. As for the food and beer selection. Both were great. I was torn between the bison burger and the junk burger but decoded to go with the Junk Burger. It was literally cooked to perfection (well done chef!). As for the beer, they had 18 to choose from including two gluten free options. I could decide so I went with a beer flight which allowed me to sample several in my typical range of beers. Definitely would come back and recommend to anyone making stop in Boulder.

Our server didn't seem too happy that we showed up today, the food took about 30 minutes to get to us and the fried pickles and the Cuban weren't very yummy, we didn't finish either. Disappointing. However the French fries WERE very yummy! And the wrap was unique and pretty good. It's a large space and it was easy to find a seat. The artwork is beautiful. Luckily we found street parking so that was easy too. It's a cash only restaurant (or local personal checks) and while it wasn't a problem, we had cash, we probably wouldn't have come here had we known that beforehand. Credit card sales shouldn't be the consumers issue.

Nothing has changed whatsoever. From the funky mural on the garage door to the sticker-lined walls of the cooler to the remote location on the less popular side of Boulder, Vision Quest is proof that us beer lovers still long for breweries of this nature. See Andrew H's recent review for his spot-on analysis! The beer selection rocks. Pales, porters, IPA's, lagers, sours, stouts, and ambers. Quality over quantity, while still maintaining a variety of flavors. I was in a pale/IPA mood last Friday, and the Hoosier Head and Boombox were quite tasty. Only a few seats at the bar, but plenty of seating indoors. If the weather is nice, you'll find everyone sitting outside staring at the mountains. They host community events, vinyl nights, have a bunch of board games, etc. These are the breweries of yesteryear. The one that skyrocketed the craft beer movement. They are a dime a dozen these days. Vision Quest is one of them, and you can still find that magic here.

Granted the ambiance here is very fun, it feels 'college' in the best sense of that term. The young people running that taps and hanging out gave me hope for the future. Crazy that chill college breweries like this still exist! Especially in a town with basic-ass hotels for $700/night.

One of our favorite things during the pandemic when restaurants could reopen was picking up their in house chicken pot pie. It's my husband's absolute favorite chicken recipe which I used to make myself. Though I am unable to make it now that l have lost a lot of vision and not a single one we have bought elsewhere was sufficient until we ordered from The Post Boulder. After a short time it became too labor intensive for the Post to make in house back then with limited staff so they contracted with a pie facility in Denver. Compared to their own it was merely adequate so we moved on to there other in house specialties. As we were ordering gold specials for Sunday!s big game, I saw that the daily specials now include Chicken Pot Pies Thursday's so we went to try it. This ficus a personal size freshly made this morning it was nice to have for a meal with a side salad. But though good, it was not as hearty as the one we loved 5 years ago. Staff was friendly and attentive and my husbands favorite beer (El Korn) was on tap and my iced tea was customized perfectly . We even brought most of the salad home as it was a large serving for a lunch. We'll be back on Sunday for our wings and other treats that we need to pick up. And we can come back again for a lunch or dinner as the have more items for people like me who cannot eat fried chucked, with their grilled chicken or salmon.

Started with the cauliflower bites in sweet chili sauce -- and let's be clear -- these were not polite, side-salad energy cauliflower. These were "touch one and we're no longer friends" cauliflower. Sweet, crispy, addictive. I fell in love against my will. Then the fried half chicken arrived. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside -- like someone's Southern aunt spent years perfecting it. And yes -- there's a gluten-free fried chicken option that somehow tastes just as good. A plot twist I didn't see coming. The collard greens had that smoky-sweet-Sunday vibe, and once the house hot sauce entered the chat? Full gospel choir moment. And William at the bar? Welcoming, honest, and actually tells you what's good -- not "everything is amazing" menu-script energy. The man can be trusted.

The hostess promptly seated us + gave us menus at a table just a few feet away from the bar. We waited from what I'd estimate 10-15 minutes for a server to come, but no server ever came. We tried to make eye contact with any passing servers or the manager as they passed by, but it did no good. Normally I'd chalk this up to a busy staff, but there were plenty of empty tables in the place, so it's not like all of the servers were overwhelmingly busy. After 10-15 minutes of waiting and trying to get anyone's attention, we picked up our belongings and left. We talked to the hostess briefly on our way out, but she didn't really have any commentary to provide on a reason for the wait. The worst part here is that this is actually the SECOND time this exact experience has happened when I've tried to visit Boulder Social over the past few months. I still have never had the opportunity to try a beer or pizza here, which is a shame, as I really want to support a local business. I've emailed the "info@bouldersocial.com" address, but there's been no response. Help me help you, Boulder Social!
