I am giving this place a 3 because it does not accommodate for gluten free. They do not have gluten free bread alternatives and they wont substitute the pancake or english muffin sides with fresh fruit. We would have to pay separate for that. We had the following Burrito - this thing is huge. Eat 1/2 you are feeling great eat the whole thing you are set for the day. Veggie omelet and the Denver omelette - Veggie has, mushrooms, broccoli and cheese decent size, comes with hash browns which are sliced fried potatoes and good, and your choice of pancakes, toast or biscuit and gravy. Goody's is our go-to for a classic diner breakfast on the weekends. They've been able to stay open during the pandemic and I'm happy for it-we just get our orders to go now. I always get the steak and eggs, which are cooked just as I ordered (the cook on the steak is sometimes a little off when it's to go but not enough to affect taste!) and very tender and tasty. My partner gets the burrito, and the green chile on top is good enough to eat on its own (and I believe you can buy jars of it). Goody's is like a mom and pop old time dinner with a small bar to sit at as well as booths and tables. The menu presents traditional breakfast favorites and has a section of south western breakfast items as well. Of course, I ordered the chicken and waffles and though it wasn't my favorite, it was still cooked to my requests and was absolutely delicious. Both my man friends were thrilled with their Hungry Mans breakfast plates and said it was intact the perfect amount of food. They do serve mimosas and bloody Mary's. They do not serve gourmet coffee. On my way out to a morning of hiking I needed to stop and grab a good breakfast. I found this place and dug in. I opted for a traditional style breakfast with 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, & hash browns. The portion was plentiful. More that I needed probably, but I filled up foe my day! Everything was cooked. Nicely with the possible exception of the hash browns which I think I could have cooked a bit longer. Nonetheless, it did not necessarily detract from the overall meal. My server was very attentive, although the food took a little bit of time (it wasn't an excessive wait & my server was attentive the whole time.) the interior is what yuh would expect from a modern diner. read more

Friends brought me here twice in the last few months. Second time was last week and now we're going again in a few days. The green chili is amazing and spot on. If you're getting breakfast ask for the hash browns well done and order a side of green chili to pour over your eggs and hash. Mmmmmm. Great coffee here. Traditional super black awesome coffee. I ordered the banana bread French toast based off of all of the reviews, but to be honest, it wasn't anything special. It literally tasted like warm banana bread. It didn't have a French toast flavor or crust at all. I was disappointed. My daughter ordered pancakes, and she said they tasted off. She was right. I tried them and they had a strange taste that seemed grainy and flavorless. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and he liked it and said it was pretty good. Family was conflicted here. My husband and I give it four stars and the kids give it five stars. Goody's is a typical diner in a sketchy part of town and was actually pretty good! The service was quick and efficient, coffee / drinks nothing to really write about but the food was amazing!!! Kids had pancakes and hubby had breakfast burrito with green chili smothered. I absolutely loved this diner. We came here after running a 10k in Westminster and were hungry and left totally full and satisfied. We had the chicken fried steak & eggs ($9.29) with biscuit and gravy and hashbrowns of course. The chicken fried steak was a bit small compare to other diners, but based on the price it was good. Flavor itself was there and it had a good coating on it. Biscuit and gravy were decent, wished there was some sausage in the gravy though. Sonoran Omelette ($9.79) with pancakes - This came with two pancakes and honestly it was way more food than expected. The dish came with the egg omelette with the Goody's green chili (which is really good) cheese and the side of hashbrowns. All together, I could barely finish all of this! OMG, what a great find this place was! I think I only found two breakfast items that were more than $10. One was the Hungry Man for $10.49 and the other was the steak and eggs for $11.50. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine. The sauce had just the right touch of lemon and the spinach was a nice bright green, fresh. My husband ordered French toast with eggs and sausage.
