Delicious & friendly in a sunny building & outdoor seating too! Nice to have in the community!!

Been coming here since the Red Garden days and it's become one of our favorite local neighborhood restaurants. It's tucked back in the industrial park so it has a locals feel to it. You won't find many tourists wandering over this way. It's Super casual with open air indoor/outdoor seating and a really friendly, inviting staff. They've got a solid menu and one of my favorite burgers around. I really wish they came with a side of fries like the good old days. We love coming in for happy hour drinks and sliders, making it a somewhat affordable night out. They're dog and kid friendly and even have a little play area outside in the enclosed patio for the kiddos. I love the local artwork hanging all around. This place definitely has character. It's a nice spot to catch a game on one of their several bar TV's. read more

I've been reading about John's Table for a while, and on a beautiful Sunday afternoon we decided to pop in.... We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio, it was perfect!! Service was fantastic, our drinks were kept full, and our food came out very quickly, and our server was very attentive Our food was really good. We enjoy chicken fried steak, French onion, soup, and the cheeseburger amongst the three of us, and it was really delicious. I really enjoyed the French onion soup in particular. Came for a birthday celebration on a Sunday and several items were not available, which was disappointing. I've been during the week and had an excellent Arcadia falafel bowl, which I ordered again -- and the falafel was out. I subbed grilled chicken; and don't make that mistake. Other members of my party were happy with their choices; one of which was a Reuben which was pronounced "excellent". No iced tea, no birthday offerings: so a 3 for this visit. read more

Hidden gem! Located in a Louisville office park John's Table has excellent burgers for everyone. One of the best burgers we've had in a long time. The fries were also quite good. The two times we've been were mid-evening and the place was quiet - no problem getting a seat or quick order. There is a bar area and multiple tvs showing sports. We will be back! read more

We came for a friends birthday; props to the team for getting our large group in and accommodating the reservation. Service was a bit slow (granted, I'm not sure if someone didn't show up?), but still friendly. Mostly knocking some stars from the food. My friend from college suggested this place for us to meet up, after not seeing each other for many years. I was happy to see him, his beautiful wife, and his youngest daughter. As an outsider, I was surprised to see this location in what I would call an industrial park. Ample parking. Pride flag hanging in the window. We were seated at a very long table (8 of us.) Another large party was seated at a long table immediately behind us. It made it a little cramped getting out! Extensive drink menu, including mocktails. My friend, his wife, and daughter opted for fancy drinks. They seemed to enjoy them. Cool, not cold water pitcher was left on the table with some plastic cups. Drinks were not refilled. My nephew and bf ordered burgers, which they devoured. My sister ordered the steak with chimmichuri. She said the potatoes were excellent, but the sauce was more like a salsa. (She was comparing to Red Car Brewery, in Torrance, CA) My friend ordered a falafel burger, which he enjoyed. His wife got a salad; heard no complaints. I asked for the green chile mac and cheese. Big curly noodles with a pale creamy sauce, with a faint chile verde flavor coming through. I asked for added chicken, flavorful but a little dry. When the bill came, I was only presented a machine. I couldn't see an itemized list. I paid. A few minutes later, the waiter came back and said that he made a mistake and reversed the first charge. I paid again, $10 more than the previous bill. New place find! Very nicely done interiors. We got the table quickly even though it was full. Tried their hummus plate and it was yummy!! The pita chips were fresh and crispy, and the hummus was flavorful. Very nice combination. I tried their olympian burger that had falafel patty, feta cheese and tatziki sauce. A very Mediterranean burger but just what I wanted. The side of fries paired well with the meal. The staff was really friendly and very quick. read more

We really liked John's Table! It's located in a pretty low key area but next to a gym I think (the Spot?). It had great drinks, homemade hummus, and cool vibes. There's a nice area for group events in the back. The servers were nice and we were even able to split our checks (but also it was not busy). read more

Conveniently located next to "The Spo"t climbing gym you'll find a beautiful outdoor patio with huge garage doors that open up and a well stocked bar. This is a great place to have some of their brussel sprouts as a appetizer, or a nice brunch. I had a nice Texas skillet for brunch and a coffee. The waitress refilled my coffee a couple of times which I love. I really enjoyed the patio, and our waitress was amazing and attentive just the right amount. read more

Wine selection very basic and nothing special - Ambiance is very Boulder industrial basic with a nice outdoor seating area that blends an open air environment with indoor arrangements - prices very fair Cons: - Service was slow. We had one server for our group and struggled to get drinks. The meals came out 2 at a time and a couple of people didn't get their orders. 2.5 hours for a meal and just 2 drink orders was disappointing - the place lost a few hundred bucks on simply not refilling drinks - farmhouse poke bowl was hotter (spicy) than hell. So hot that 2 of us who ordered couldn't finish it This was after one person asked to make it mild and the server said no problem. Food was not good. Two of us ordered the loaded potato dish from the brunch menu and both dishes were swimming in oil. Somebody else ordered the chicken fried steak and the cut of meat was very tough. Service was non existence. Holy COW. I returned a missed call from the restaurant, and the owner yelled at me and accused me of just wanting money when my concern was bad anchovies. My daughter and I shared fries and each got a Caesar Salad. She got the dressing on the side, but didn't eat it. I got the dressing on the salad so the dressing was the only food we didn't share. He also admitted to using a paste and not a fresh anchovy, Scombroid poisoning comes from the packaging company so that makes sense. I left feeling not ok. I told my daughter, she said "Sorry, Mom." As adults, it is easy to know when we have food poisoning, but we never quite know where it is from so brush it off as who knows. The Caesar dressing was the only thing we didn't share, and it was my first and only meal of the day when the symptoms started, and actually I am done with food for today. I called knowing exactly what caused it, and instead of "....so sorry," here's a $20 gift card, please give us another try, they argued with me about onset time and freshness. They also argued that no one else has called about illness. Explained to me how they all have their food service certifications! (So do I) Scombroid poisoning is not only common it's a "global phenomenon", and takes a few minutes to an hour after eating contaminated fish. Also, "not everyone who eats anchovies, or any fish susceptible to scombroid poisoning, will get sick; it depends on the histamine levels in the fish and individual sensitivity. " Simple Google search. I was just trying to help by letting you know, and without your rude reaction, would not have posted this review. I grew up in restaurants, and sometimes things just happen. I like John's, the menu and drink variety are solid. The place is buzzing during nice week days with a good size patio that opens up to the restaurant. It's spacious and I've never had an issue sitting wherever I want. There is generally something on the menu for everyone including some decent all vege options. The Service is generally good unless they get slammed with big parties from the local offices surrounding the restaurant. read more

Fried chicken sandwich, SO SMALL!! This trend with very simple meals being $20 and not actually a large enough portion to be considered a meal is really frustrating. We just had brunch, and again it's somewhat hit and miss. Starting with the good, the BELT breakfast sandwich was very tasty. Thick slabs of bacon, lettuce, and tomato, egg your way between buttery Texas Toast. The home potatoes were finely diced to ensure max crispy goodness. The biscuits and gravy looked light and fluffy but tasted hard and dry. A fellow diner called it inedible. It's quite unfortunate as the gravy was very good and hot. My 'beef' with biscuits and gravy is it's always lukewarm. I did mention the tough biscuits to our server, Christian, so hopefully he'll pass that along to the kitchen. Would hate for them to loose business based on bad biscuits. I will end on a positive and that is, again, the service was convivial and attentive without being obsequious. And the outdoor seating couldn't be nicer after a long bike ride. read more

Oh. My. God. How do I start? First of all, Alex and Kelli are the owners, and they are on site. Alex is in the kitchen creating these wonderful meals. To me that really says something when the owner is there with an apron on...And their food reflects it. I've had phenomenal meals here. The crew is amazing. Lynde pours pints with the brightest smile. The tomato soup is divine, their burgers are amazing. They have a nice selection of local beers on tap. I'm here practically every Friday for lunch... I like John's Table. They need better chairs; the backs are a problem for anyone who has a bad back. I like their menu; their food is good. Because of their size, I don't go there on Hump Day, Wednesday, or Friday because of the noise. Their prices are reasonable. I just wish they'd spend more on decent chairs. read more

Had the french dip last night. meat tasty, fries OK. I gave it a 2 as the sandwich, to include nothing else was $18, then add on fries and a coke and it was just shy of $30. now that included a tip plus they charge 2% just to use a credit card. now my friend had the same plus a margarita. smallest margarita I have ever seen. service was good. Valentine's Day dinner. My husband and I went there for Valentine's Day. They had cute little valentines greetings on the napkins and they brought complementary strawberries dipped in chocolate on a stick for you. They even offered complementary bubbly or rosé. My husband and I started off with the veggie cauli mari and it was delicious. A nice seafood calamari substitute . Then we had French onion soup , it was just the right amount and so tasty. We both ordered prime rib with garlic butter mashed potatoes, and delicious green beans . We ended the meal with some coffee and blueberry cobbler. The staff was so attentive and professional. I can't wait to go back and try their brunch , burgers or bowls, and oh yeah their mocktails are fabulous. read more

You pissed me off. If I was notified that there was going to be a 2% fee for using a credit card, I would have paid in cash. Why would anyone pay a fee for money they have? I didn't get that chance. Instead, the owners have chosen to bury this fee. And this is why we will never return. This is an intentionally deceptive practice all around as most people won't notice. This is what business crooks do. Per Colorado state law, SB21-091: "A merchant is required to display notice regarding the surcharge on the merchant's premises or, for online purchases, before an online customer's completion of the sales or lease transaction." The service was carelessly mediocre. After multiple rounds of coming to the table, I had to ask for water refills many times, rather than service being proactive. The chairs are cheap and uncomfortable. The food is average because it is a poor value. The Climbers bowl was a version of a Lean Cuisine meal with twice the volume but for $18. Yikes! The difference in volume was mostly rice. The cauli mari was delicious. Before I knew about the hidden fee, this is what would have lead to a return visit from me. This is a very nice venue, to be sure. Surprisingly, parking is an issue here in an out of the way industrial complex. The hidden fee, even after asking the server if there were any fees, soured a special occasion night out for us, which are few and far between. You betcha' I have told multiple people about the hidden fee here. It is the principle of the matter and this is thoroughly disappointing. I was not given an itemized receipt prior to paying and I only saw the hidden charge after reviewing the emailed receipt (because I opted for it) after paying. At least this hidden surcharge and sales tax aren't factored into the suggested tip amounts. Sad win. I wanted to enjoy my experience here but these factors were a damper. Stop stealing money from people! P.S. There is no need of a review of my Yelp profile. This only makes you look like a bigger entitled crook under the guise of virtue signaling. Yuck. Came for brunch for the first time and had spicy Bloody Mary's, Texas Loaded Potato Skillet (the pulled pork and bacon was to die for) and the spicy chicken sandwich. Everything we had was incredible. Our friends got the chicken fried steak and it was a thick steak! I tried it and it was also delicious. You can order from the regular menu or the brunch menu which was really great. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. Service was great and will be back again! read more

Great service food is good but nothing to write home about. The prices are fair and the restaurant is cozy.

The environment is warm and comfortable. Food is reasonably priced. Wasn't impressed by their cocktails. I imagine the place is more ambient at nighttime given the beautiful hanging lights. read more

Their burgers are way overcooked. I feel bad leaving a 2 star review because the service was friendly, although not that attentive. And the food otherwise was really good. The bun, garnish, etc. looked like it would make for a good burger. But.... I asked for medium rare and got well done. It took a bit to get a server's attention and showed them. They offered to get me a new one. So we waited (and waited, and waited). And they came out with another that was well done. When I showed that it was also well done they apologized and said they would take it off the bill. No offer of a 3rd try so I'm guessing they aren't capable of doing medium rare. They should say so when I first placed my order so we could have left and gone elsewhere. Anyways, if you want medium rare, go to Bad Daddy's. They can do medium rare and are about 3 minutes away. read more

In a secluded, quiet area - went for dinner with girl friends to catch up and was quickly seated and had great service. I only had the chicken wings so I can't speak to the other food but I know there were no complaints made.
