This place looks like it would be really fun. A large amount of beers on top a good wine list and a lot of special drinks. The host seated Us right away. After sitting there for 10 minutes, we decided we were going to leave. No one had even greeted us. As we were leaving the bartender, maybe manager,? Said oh hey sit here I'll take care of you so we did. My husband got the chicken sandwich. He said it was tasty, but the chicken was very overcooked. He liked his fries. I got the fish tacos, grilled, should've gotten fried. Grilled was not great. I liked all the sauces on there the pico, and lots of avocado, very generous. At the end we ended up having to go ask for our check. All in all I don't think this is the place for me. read more

I've drove past this place many times but just recently made my way in. I loved the ambiance and feel to this place when I came in. Great place to watch a game. My daughter and I split a burger. It was nothing special and the onion rings were soggy. After tip 1 plan burger, onion rings and 2 waters was almost $40. That is a bit much in my opinion. read more

Used to have decent food, but our last meal there was really terrible. The worst (!) fish and chips I've had in memory -- little slivers of fish surrounded by a finger-thick oily crust, with watery coleslaw. The coconut Thai curry, which used to be good, formed a flat layer slopped agains the bowl and lacked the old flavor. They have an extensive beer menu(40 on tap!), wine, and cocktails, none of which we sampled this time. Met up with some friends here for dinner when we were staying the night in Louisville on a trip to San Diego. Really love the vibe of this place! The outdoor seating was just too aesthetic. All those lights and such a good vibe overall. The couple we were having dinner with took a while to get there and the server was checking in on us until they came. But after that, she never showed up for the longest time. I actually had to go and call her to take our order. Service was quick after that. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken but with Grilled Chicken instead. It came with bacon, white gravy and seasonal vegetables. I asked to swap out the mashed potatoes for some asparagus instead. To be honest I was not a fan of this meal. Chicken was cooked well so that was good. Even that broccoli and carrot thing going on in the seasonal vegetables was good. The asparagus was just so so - little too oily for me. The bacon white gravy was a little bit of a disappointment. I was really expecting some good flavor but it was very bland. My fiance got the Lamb Goat Cheese Burger (lamb patty topped with goat cheese, arugula and honey), with the side salad. The dressing on his salad was amazing! As for that burger... So so good! I tried a bite and oh man.. Everything went so well together! He definitely loved this meal. The couple we ate with.. They both got the Baja Fish Tacos (Grilled fish in masa tortillas with baja honey-lime slaw, avocado and pico de gallo drizzled with garlic-lime crema). We diner outdoors. It has adequate shaded options, mix of picnic, high top and regular seating, we were seated quickly, received waters quickly, long wait to make drink and food orders. Restaurant was only 1/3rd full. Steak sandwich was real steak, and good but too small. Wings were crisp, buffalo sauce was okay (wings were not tossed), blue cheese was not good quality and too warm to be safe to eat. Wings are a 10 count, not a dozen. Fries were good but not natural and fresh cut. Waiter never returned to check on us. Needed to order food to go for family but since he didn't return we did not get to. Had to go inside to ask someone for our check. We observed our waiter checking on other tables several times and socializing with those tables. So, we'd go back but avoid that waiter. read more

In a whim, I found myself taking a friend here. He was just craving a burger, and the craving was successfully satisfied. We arrived just before happy hour ended, and started promptly with the beer cheese. The small portion of veggies were underwhelming, but that's where the underwhelm ended. The accompanying pretzel bites were excellent, warm and fresh, and the beer cheese had a brilliant flavor and somewhat gritty texture, which I enjoy. As an aside, the beer was spot on. Some piney IPA, what can I say, I know what I like. Only $1 off for happy hour, but better than nothing. My lamb burger was perfectly cooked (medium) and I appreciated it arriving somewhat disassembled. It lets you add the toppings you want, ordered as you like. On the side, bison chili. Nicely spicy, not overbearing, flavorful and warm. My friend wanted the BBQ bacon burger, something he normally wouldn't want because they're so often drenched. But again, it arrived "deconstructed", allowing him to build it perfectly to his liking. Overall great experience. And as my third time here, I can confidently say it's easily 4 stars. Staff has always been nice, the vibe is warm, and I always leave happy. It's not the best food in the region but it's constantly a safe bet. read more

I met up with some fellow teacher friends (on a school night, no less) for some apps and a drink. For any margarita lovers, I highly recommend the mangorita. Delicious. The food is great and the outdoor seating offered a relaxing vibe. The band playing was mellow and I could still even hear my friends as we caught up on the last two years of life while the band happily played in the background. Extra thanks to the server who was kind and helpful despite us staying there for hours and not ordering a ton. As a fellow server, I understand how annoying that might be so this five start review is more about the wonderful service, which the three tired teachers who just needed a kid free night to catch up and laugh with friends deeply appreciated. Not sure how this spot is only 3.5 stars, but I thought it was pretty banging. Ended up here for a late night dinner as it was within walking distance of the hotel I was staying at. For a Monday night, the bar area was near capacity for the first NFL game of the season. I didn't realize, but they had half off all their draft beers during the late night I was there (After 9pm?). Anyways in addition to beers, I also ordered their baja fish tacos grilled. I thought the flavors were good and it came with 4 fish tacos and a side of beans.
