We just have this place a second try. It was rough. I want to like this place because the ambience is great and I love the idea. But ugh. First off, the server was good. She was friendly, attentive, and apologetic. The food was better than last time. My wife had a salad with salmon and I had a French dip. Both good, aside from the fries that came with my sandwich were fossils. I'm not sure how you overcook fries that much. We arrive. Look over the drink menu. I opt for bottled modelo because their draft IPA is $12. What?? Draft coors light is $6, for comparison. We get our beer bread right away. Excellent stuff. 50 minutes later, wife gets her salad. 20 minutes after that, I get my sandwich. The place is maybe half full. I can't understand why the food took that long. They took my sandwich off the bill. Thank you. Then they pick up my card and run it. I confirmed the total before they pick it up. Tge drop off the card after running it. New receipt with a total 6x what the check for my table was. They voided the transaction and corrected it. Look, I get it. I worked in restaurants. I'm patient and empathetic for the most part when it comes to this stuff. But there are some serious issues with this restaurant that need to be ironed out. I hope they fix it. read more

Friends came to town and were staying at the new hotel and they made reservations for a group of 12 to meet at the roof top restaurant. We were all excited to check out the new place and have a great meal together. The first to arrive were seated but were never acknowledged and had to ask for water. When the rest of us arrived, we still received no service. Reservations were for 5:30 and it was 6:00 before our server came to the table to ask if we wanted drinks. Not everyone got a menu. I wanted to see if there were any specialty cocktails, so I asked if I could have one. He said there wasn't enough, so we all "had to share". (both cocktail & food menus) He took our drink orders but didn't ask if we wanted any appetizers. It took another half hour for our drinks to arrive. The drinks were delivered and he disappeared without asking if we would like to place an order to food. At this point, we had been there over an hour and were hungry and frustrated. While we finished our drinks, we made reservations for dinner at another restaurant. As we sat with empty glasses, one person in our party had to get up to ask if we could get our bill because we were going elsewhere. The server placed the bill on the table and said, "if you want your bill split, it's going to take at least 10 minutes" and walked off. We split the bill with cash so we could leave. I can't comment on food since we were never offered any, but this was some of the worst service I've ever seen. I don't know how many tables were occupied on the patio, but the inside was not full. The last two people to join our party said they met people at the elevator who had sat at the bar for 45 minutes and were never acknowledged, so they were on their way out. The few servers who were "working" really didn't seem to care if people were waited on. They should have been hustling but they were meandering and chatting with each other. From where I was seated, I could see only two people in the kitchen who appeared to be leisurely moving about. In their defense, maybe they weren't busy because the servers weren't bringing them any orders. I know new establishments always take time to work out the kinks, but no one was even trying. Our server seemed to be deliberately avoiding us, maybe because a larger party seemed overwhelming? Not once did he cruise by and say, "I'll be right with you", ask if we wanted another drink when our glasses were empty, or offer to place an order for food. On the way out, one of my friends was talking to him about how disappointed we were, and he blamed it on management. Whatever the problem is, service is horrendous. read more

This restaurant is located atop Hotel Longmont, the 5th floor. The Mountain View's are spectacular! We arrived at 4:40 on Friday afternoon. We were seated immediately in the romantic dining area with no reservation. The lighting is extraordinary! We ordered a cheese plate while we waited for the dinner menu availability at 5 pm. The cheese plate had a smoked Gouda, some crostini, raisins and craisins, sweetened nuts and raspberry jam. Everything was sweet, it would have been nice to have a salty bite too. The crostini was very dry and chalky. I ordered a glass of wine from the very limited wine list. My companion drinks iced tea and he said it was top notch. I ordered the summer salad as recommended. I have never had pickled corn before and I liked it's the "tangy" salad dressing was very flavorless. The staff were trained extremely well, attentive and friendly. The decor is Neato! read more

Was excited to try here but not impressed. Best way I can describe it is trying to be a fancy restaurant but falling short of the goal. I felt the food was overpriced for what was delivered. Staff seemed awkward and uncomfortable. Tried to order some wine from the menu but took 5 picks to find something they actually had available. What a picture perfect unobstructed 5th floor view of Longmont and the surrounding Rocky Mountains from these windows! We sat at the bar and had the best Gin & Tonics and their special Dirty Martini: Chopin vodka, dirty, extra shaken, not stirred, bleu cheese olives. Possibly THE smoothest martini ever! This restaurant recently opened at the top of the Hotel Longmont. It's very nicely decorated and has fantastic views of Longmont. The service was a bit slow and scrambled, but our server was brand new so I'm taking that into account. The food was excellent. We split the pork wontons, and I had the roasted duck with Gouda spinach and roasted potatoes. My mom had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Beautiful hotel, space, & views but not worth the price or wait. We first got drinks at the bar with a friend and spent over $140 on 6 drinks including tip. I love espresso martinis & theirs did not taste right even though they use fresh espresso. We then went back another time for a special occasion and made a reservation. We were so excited to take family here but the menu was not impressive & the service was not great. The table we sat at was so small and the waitress would not away our dirty plates unless we asked. She was also not super attentive. We sat around a while wondering where our food was. You will on average spend about $100+ a person here and not receive great quality service or food. I hope this place improves because we were so excited for it to open. read more

No complaints about the atmosphere or service. Both were wonderful. My friend and I just wanted a good cocktail on some appetizers. It was a mid-to late afternoon visit. I have to wonder if the owners have sat down to taste the appetizers we ordered on our visit. Avocado hummus was like a very bland guacamole. Pita chips and veggies were fresh. On a scale of 1-10 I would give the dip a 3. Next was the beer bread ... nothing special minimal effort. They can do much better. Managers should taste the food every once in a while. read more

Longmont Supply has only been open one week. It's the restaurant on the top floor of the newly built Longmont Hotel. We ate outside on their covered patio. We loved it! We went for breakfast. We ordered the Supply Standard and the Longmont Omelet. They were both excellent. It was a generous size and the food was delicious. Our server gave both of us a fruit cup on the house. The fruit was fresh. We ordered iced coffee and regular coffee. They use the local Ziggy's brand (Ziggy's started just down the street in Longmont). The servers were friendly and attentive. The manager even came by to check on the service and food. They are really wanting to do a good job at this new restaurant. Because the restaurant is on the 5th floor there are awesome views of Longmont. There are many windows inside the restaurant. It is beautifully decorated both inside and out. There is a parking garage right next door which has free 2 hour parking. There is also free street parking. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I look forward to coming back for dinner! read more

I think the view and the ambiance of the hotel is carrying this restaurant. There were six of us. Tuesday night reservation for 6pm. Started off hearing that they ran out of tortilla chips for appetizers. OK. Then they ran out of lamb and all the salmon dishes. Finally received our food (from what was left available on the menu) at 7.45pm. Two of us ordered the French dip. It was the worst we have ever had. The au jus was just a bowl of fat that had an odd sweet taste. Three others at the table ordered the overcooked hamburgers after ordering the meat to be medium. Trout was just OK. It could have all been forgiven (maybe?) if the server asked us just once how our meal was? comped us for drinks for waiting so long for our food? or generally seemed to give a shi!. We sat on the 5th floor patio and the views were great and the seating was comfortable. I ordered the burger and it was, by far, one of the two best burgers I've ever had in Colorado (the other was a Burns Pub). My husband had the duck sandwich, which was very dry. Our friend enjoyed the French dip. The desserts were delicious (chocolate stout cake and crème brûlée were fantastic. The bread pudding was good.). The service started out attentive and good. Our server was pleasant. However, after our entrees arrived, we rarely saw her. We had plates to be bussed, water glasses to be filled, and ordering another drink was difficult (so we didn't). We had to signal to another server to ask for water and a dessert menu. We waited a very long time for the table to be cleared and to order dessert. It took a very long time for dessert to arrive. When the original server came back to collect our credit card, we had two cards in the holder for three people. She just grabbed it and quickly walked away without letting us tell her how to split the bill. We sorted it amongst ourselves after. We asked for "to go" containers for our leftovers three times and had to wait a long time. It felt like once the entrees were delivered the server felt her work was done. read more

As locals, my husband and I were so excited for this place to finally open. We were very much looking forward to having a rooftop restaurant in Longmont, and today we finally decided to give it a try even with all the not so great reviews (which I totally get now). I'll start with the positives- the view is spectacular, even with it only being 5 stories, the views of Longmont and south are breathtaking. There was something so special about being there at sunset and being able to see the sun dip down over the mountains. The drinks were honestly very good, they executed them very well for what we got - mountainside 75, an old fashioned, and a manhattan. The service is where it starts to go downhill, we were greeted in a reasonable enough time, our drinks and food came out at a reasonable enough time. However, if you're paying premium prices, I would honestly expect a more hands on approach to service. We had to flag our server down every. Single. Time. We wanted to place another order. She just looked like she was in her own world. I've worked in the service industry, I truly get it, but the restaurant itself was not that busy, and again- premium prices. She never asked us how we were doing, or how any of our food was. THE FOOD- oh my goodness, the prices were not necessarily exorbitant, but if I'm paying $26 dollars for pork belly & scallops, I expect to get a fairly decent sized portion. The scallops were on the smaller side and overcooked, the pork belly was more like bacon and the chutney that came with it only tasted like tomatoes and nothing like peaches. And it needed a healthy dose of salt. The sliders we ordered next were alright. The wild boar one was very good, it was a good contrast of flavors. But the bison and the beef one, were still just very bland. It would have been better if they'd been seasoned properly. And while I know tastes are subjective, they could have been cooked a little longer as the bison and beef were a little too rare. I can't help but think how much better this place would be with better more attentive service, and better seasoned food, we paid good money to try it, and left so disappointed. The menu itself is really incredible and in the right chefs hands, it could certainly be wonderful, but it all just needs work. It's good for a date night spot if you're looking to have a nightcap, but for anything else, I would truly go to any other place in Longmont if you're looking to leave satisfied in the food department. Hopefully they figure it out soon, and try to take feedback from their customers, because this truly just is not it. read more

We stayed at the hotel and decided to check out the restaurant and bar on the rooftop and the views were spectacular. It didn't stop at the views as we decided to grab a drink and some bites before ending the night. We only had planned to be there for a quick stop but the service from the bartender Connor was out of this world. Although it was a full house, Connor was able to navigate both restaurant and bar drink orders with breeze. As seasoned drinkers, he recommended variations to our drinks using local spirits that hit it out of the park. On top of that, the food was nothing short of delicious coming from Los Angeles, Longmont Supply exceed my expectations. Go order a drink with Connor, you won't be disappointed by the experience. read more

We were somewhat stunned that this place only averages three stars. We were there for lunch on the outside patio on 9/12/26. Wonderful ambience, sort of a European vibe outside and inside. Service was excellent but not rushed - - we cannot stand rushed service. Food was very good for all four of us. The charcuterie was just ok and the meat balls were well over cooked and taseless. I believe they are not freshly made... thet tasted like they were frozen to start with. The service was the worst!!! Positive: the views are exceptional, the decor is pretty nice, and the items on the menu look good. The meatballs were delicious and the sliders were tasty. Negative: service was pretty rough (though all of them were extremely nice), staff don't know the menu, kitchen struggled to do the basics (at least with our orders), and waits were long despite not being busy initially. The menus at the bar and at our table were warped from being waterlogged and dried. So as not to write a novel, here's one specific example: We ordered a charcuterie board that came out with about two pounds of cheese cubes and a pound of candied nuts. When we asked about the meats, the pickles, the mustard, the relish, etc our (genuinely nice) waiter seemed confused and went back to check. They came back with a few cold cuts. Then we asked again about the other stuff again. They left and came back again with versions of the relish and pickles (I don't think they were the items that were actually meant to go with the board, but whatever). The mustard never made it. The point, however, is that neither the waiter nor the kitchen seemed to have the slightest idea of what was supposed to be on a charcuterie board generally, and certainly didn't know what was intended to be included based on the description on the menu. On our way out we saw another party that had ordered the same thing and it had completely different stuff on it including what appeared to be piles of dried fruit. Bizarre. This was a one or two star experience, but we're giving it 3 stars in the hopes that it's just teething pains. We'll come back in a few months to see if they've grown into their paws, but overall it felt very Colorado trying to do New York City and doing it exceptionally poorly. Look, I love a good burger and beer. I also love fine dining. The thing is, if you don't have the waitstaff, kitchen expertise, or experience to do the latter just stick to the former. Simple and reliable beats poorly executed and disappointing complexity every day of the week. The views alone here would sell anything they offered. Perhaps just pick something basic and do it well. That, or re-train the staff and the kitchen. Fingers crossed, we really hope they manage to fix things, as the venue itself is great. read more

I don't normally write reviews... but here are the cons: non existent service. We had to ask for plates for the appetizers, silverware, a steak knife for the pork chops, another service of silverware because they only gave us 5 sets of silverware for 6 people, and pepper. Our server never checked on us once during our meal. It took 15 min past our reservation time to "get our table ready." It took 40 min from the time we ordered until we got our food. Most of our food was sitting under the heat lamps for almost 10 min. Our party didn't all get our food at the same time. They didn't take our dirty appetizer plates away until the end of the meal. The food was mostly mediocre. My pork chops were bland with a side of sweet sauce. No water refills. The sizzling salmon dish was lukewarm warm. The deviled eggs were salty and it loked like someone squished a few of them. The pork belly in the pot stickers was dry. Pros: the lamb shank was a ok dish I wouldn't complain if it were a low end restaurant, but for almost $400 for 6 people, I'm expecting a better dining experience and food. Nice views. But your money is better spent elsewhere. read more

As others have said, the ambiance is beautiful, however, being distracted by mediocre service, food errors and one order completely forgotten, the atmosphere can't make up for it. We arrived to join our friends already seated. 15 minutes before she shows up asks if we're ready to order. Can we get drinks? 5 people. 2 burgers, one medium rare, one medium well,2 sandwiches, chicken tenders. If you can't do it, why ask? One burger comes out. Is it medium rare or medium well? She says its the well one. Two bites. Wrong. sent back.20 minutes later I ask about the medium rare burger. She forgot to place the order. Says 5 to 7 minutes. 45 minutes later 2 medium well burgers after the rest of the table is finished eating. She comps the burgers as she should have. Very disappointing on all levels. read more

What a disappointment this place was! I read service was slow, but our server was fine he was attentive and friendly and we did not wait for long. The view was of course nice given the location. I was immediately put off by the wall of plastic flowers in the planters. We ordered cocktails, they came out looking great, except my husband's drink had a tall foam on it. The flavor did not match the beauty. My husbands drink had a lovely taste of Dawn dishsoap, which given its prominence as an after taste was not listed as an ingredient in the drink. My drink tasted like little more than nothing and my husband's description was "well that is weird". We abandoned the drinks and moved onto the food. My $26 ceasar salad came out with absolutely no dressing at all, dry as lettuce can be, a few sad croutons and with a lovely piece of salmon jerky on top. I had expected a dressed ceasar salad with seared salmon so this was an interesting twist on a super basic staple. Once I chipped through the salmon, I did find portions that were edible but did not eat much of meal. My husband's French dip was described by him as "fine" and he said they did toast the bun. We paid our $100, came home to Make drinks. Really hope this place can figure out how to meet the expectations of the location and view, but I won't be back to find out. read more

Service was painfully slow. The place was less than 40% full, and yet it took the waiter more than 20 mins in between visits to the table. They were helping the bartender clean glasses while the food sat on the line getting cold. The menu said pulled lamb, but they serve the whole shank, bone included. The 24$ scallions and pork belly came out as 4 cold scallions on a piece of bacon, sent them back and waiter damn near begged tonlet him just warm it up. The NY strip was under cooked and cold, with the fries tasting like they were frozen. The drinks are also way overpriced, they have a specialty drink menu and will automatically serve the specialty version. We asked for an old fashioned, got served and charged for their "new fashioned". 16$ for barely 3 ounces of drink. For the amount they are charging here, I had much higher expectations. read more

server we had was horrible. she had a neck tattoo (not upset about the tattoo but so you know not to get her as a server) we got to the restaurant at 8:15. food did not come out until 9:30. messed up ALL of our meals. my boyfriend was waiting for his food for about 20 minutes past everyone else getting their food. don't get the biscuits and gravy unless you want dry biscuits. potatoes are so dry. OH! and don't you dare ask for extra creamer from this lady, she will give you such and attitude about it, or ask for syrup and butter when you've been sitting there for 5 minutes with your pancakes and they are getting very cold. don't come here read more
