Friends came to town and were staying at the new hotel and they made reservations for a group of 12 to meet at the roof top restaurant. We were all excited to check out the new place and have a great meal together. The first to arrive were seated but were never acknowledged and had to ask for water. When the rest of us arrived, we still received no service. Reservations were for 5:30 and it was 6:00 before our server came to the table to ask if we wanted drinks. Not everyone got a menu. I wanted to see if there were any specialty cocktails, so I asked if I could have one. He said there wasn't enough, so we all "had to share". (both cocktail & food menus) He took our drink orders but didn't ask if we wanted any appetizers. It took another half hour for our drinks to arrive. The drinks were delivered and he disappeared without asking if we would like to place an order to food. At this point, we had been there over an hour and were hungry and frustrated. While we finished our drinks, we made reservations for dinner at another restaurant. As we sat with empty glasses, one person in our party had to get up to ask if we could get our bill because we were going elsewhere. The server placed the bill on the table and said, "if you want your bill split, it's going to take at least 10 minutes" and walked off. We split the bill with cash so we could leave. I can't comment on food since we were never offered any, but this was some of the worst service I've ever seen. I don't know how many tables were occupied on the patio, but the inside was not full. The last two people to join our party said they met people at the elevator who had sat at the bar for 45 minutes and were never acknowledged, so they were on their way out. The few servers who were "working" really didn't seem to care if people were waited on. They should have been hustling but they were meandering and chatting with each other. From where I was seated, I could see only two people in the kitchen who appeared to be leisurely moving about. In their defense, maybe they weren't busy because the servers weren't bringing them any orders. I know new establishments always take time to work out the kinks, but no one was even trying. Our server seemed to be deliberately avoiding us, maybe because a larger party seemed overwhelming? Not once did he cruise by and say, "I'll be right with you", ask if we wanted another drink when our glasses were empty, or offer to place an order for food. On the way out, one of my friends was talking to him about how disappointed we were, and he blamed it on management. Whatever the problem is, service is horrendous. read more

Gorgeous hotel and restaurant! You enter at the lobby and take an elevator to the 5th floor. French onion soup was fantastic! Rich broth! The rest of the food was okay. Service was excellent despite the fact that it was our server's second day on the job. View from the patio is wonderful. Don't miss it. read more

What a picture perfect unobstructed 5th floor view of Longmont and the surrounding Rocky Mountains from these windows! We sat at the bar and had the best Gin & Tonics and their special Dirty Martini: Chopin vodka, dirty, extra shaken, not stirred, bleu cheese olives. Possibly THE smoothest martini ever! The bartenders were friendly and noteably attentive. Highly recommended! read more

Longmont Supply - New American Near Me - Longmont, Colorado

This restaurant recently opened at the top of the Hotel Longmont. It's very nicely decorated and has fantastic views of Longmont. The service was a bit slow and scrambled, but our server was brand new so I'm taking that into account. The food was excellent. We split the pork wontons, and I had the roasted duck with Gouda spinach and roasted potatoes. My mom had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Longmont Supply has only been open one week. It's the restaurant on the top floor of the newly built Longmont Hotel. We ate outside on their covered patio. We loved it! We went for breakfast. We ordered the Supply Standard and the Longmont Omelet. They were both excellent. It was a generous size and the food was delicious. Our server gave both of us a fruit cup on the house. The fruit was fresh. We ordered iced coffee and regular coffee. They use the local Ziggy's brand (Ziggy's started just down the street in Longmont). The servers were friendly and attentive. The manager even came by to check on the service and food. They are really wanting to do a good job at this new restaurant. Because the restaurant is on the 5th floor there are awesome views of Longmont. There are many windows inside the restaurant. It is beautifully decorated both inside and out. There is a parking garage right next door which has free 2 hour parking. There is also free street parking. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I look forward to coming back for dinner! read more

server we had was horrible. she had a neck tattoo (not upset about the tattoo but so you know not to get her as a server) we got to the restaurant at 8:15. food did not come out until 9:30. messed up ALL of our meals. my boyfriend was waiting for his food for about 20 minutes past everyone else getting their food. don't get the biscuits and gravy unless you want dry biscuits. potatoes are so dry. OH! and don't you dare ask for extra creamer from this lady, she will give you such and attitude about it, or ask for syrup and butter when you've been sitting there for 5 minutes with your pancakes and they are getting very cold. don't come here read more

Positive: the views are exceptional, the decor is pretty nice, and the items on the menu look good. The meatballs were delicious and the sliders were tasty. Negative: service was pretty rough (though all of them were extremely nice), staff don't know the menu, kitchen struggled to do the basics (at least with our orders), and waits were long despite not being busy initially. The menus at the bar and at our table were warped from being waterlogged and dried. So as not to write a novel, here's one specific example: We ordered a charcuterie board that came out with about two pounds of cheese cubes and a pound of candied nuts. When we asked about the meats, the pickles, the mustard, the relish, etc our (genuinely nice) waiter seemed confused and went back to check. They came back with a few cold cuts. Then we asked again about the other stuff again. They left and came back again with versions of the relish and pickles (I don't think they were the items that were actually meant to go with the board, but whatever). The mustard never made it. The point, however, is that neither the waiter nor the kitchen seemed to have the slightest idea of what was supposed to be on a charcuterie board generally, and certainly didn't know what was intended to be included based on the description on the menu. On our way out we saw another party that had ordered the same thing and it had completely different stuff on it including what appeared to be piles of dried fruit. Bizarre. This was a one or two star experience, but we're giving it 3 stars in the hopes that it's just teething pains. We'll come back in a few months to see if they've grown into their paws, but overall it felt very Colorado trying to do New York City and doing it exceptionally poorly. Look, I love a good burger and beer. I also love fine dining. The thing is, if you don't have the waitstaff, kitchen expertise, or experience to do the latter just stick to the former. Simple and reliable beats poorly executed and disappointing complexity every day of the week. The views alone here would sell anything they offered. Perhaps just pick something basic and do it well. That, or re-train the staff and the kitchen. Fingers crossed, we really hope they manage to fix things, as the venue itself is great. read more

What a disappointment this place was! I read service was slow, but our server was fine he was attentive and friendly and we did not wait for long. The view was of course nice given the location. I was immediately put off by the wall of plastic flowers in the planters. We ordered cocktails, they came out looking great, except my husband's drink had a tall foam on it. The flavor did not match the beauty. My husbands drink had a lovely taste of Dawn dishsoap, which given its prominence as an after taste was not listed as an ingredient in the drink. My drink tasted like little more than nothing and my husband's description was "well that is weird". We abandoned the drinks and moved onto the food. My $26 ceasar salad came out with absolutely no dressing at all, dry as lettuce can be, a few sad croutons and with a lovely piece of salmon jerky on top. I had expected a dressed ceasar salad with seared salmon so this was an interesting twist on a super basic staple. Once I chipped through the salmon, I did find portions that were edible but did not eat much of meal. My husband's French dip was described by him as "fine" and he said they did toast the bun. We paid our $100, came home to Make drinks. Really hope this place can figure out how to meet the expectations of the location and view, but I won't be back to find out. read more

I don't normally write reviews... but here are the cons: non existent service. We had to ask for plates for the appetizers, silverware, a steak knife for the pork chops, another service of silverware because they only gave us 5 sets of silverware for 6 people, and pepper. Our server never checked on us once during our meal. It took 15 min past our reservation time to "get our table ready." It took 40 min from the time we ordered until we got our food. Most of our food was sitting under the heat lamps for almost 10 min. Our party didn't all get our food at the same time. They didn't take our dirty appetizer plates away until the end of the meal. The food was mostly mediocre. My pork chops were bland with a side of sweet sauce. No water refills. The sizzling salmon dish was lukewarm warm. The deviled eggs were salty and it loked like someone squished a few of them. The pork belly in the pot stickers was dry. Pros: the lamb shank was a ok dish I wouldn't complain if it were a low end restaurant, but for almost $400 for 6 people, I'm expecting a better dining experience and food. Nice views. But your money is better spent elsewhere. read more

Service was painfully slow. The place was less than 40% full, and yet it took the waiter more than 20 mins in between visits to the table. They were helping the bartender clean glasses while the food sat on the line getting cold. The menu said pulled lamb, but they serve the whole shank, bone included. The 24$ scallions and pork belly came out as 4 cold scallions on a piece of bacon, sent them back and waiter damn near begged tonlet him just warm it up. The NY strip was under cooked and cold, with the fries tasting like they were frozen. The drinks are also way overpriced, they have a specialty drink menu and will automatically serve the specialty version. We asked for an old fashioned, got served and charged for their "new fashioned". 16$ for barely 3 ounces of drink. For the amount they are charging here, I had much higher expectations. read more
