After a day of swimming in the St. Vrain, we had food on the brain. We weren't looking for a brewery, but for a menu that would work for each person in the group. Collision's offerings looked promising. Dining near the bar was full, so we got a whole room with windows aplenty to ourselves. Our waiter modeled good service. He greeted us quickly, brought waters before I could pick a beer, and quickly returned with my suds and took our order. We strolled down a hallway to the restrooms, passing games in the cool blue light. The bathroom was clean. Urinals are half kegs. I cracked up, then explained them to him. The expansive menu looks surprisingly diverse. I could have had pierogies, birria tacos, chicken fettuccine, PB & J, or one of the selections of burgers and sandwiches. I chose the French Dip on Asiago bread with a cup of green Chile. I could only eat half a sandwich, but knew leftovers would be gone by morning. This was one of the better French Dips I have had in a while. Green Chile? I came here from New Mexico and am not often impressed. This stuff was truly hot and had great flavor. Win win. The kids' steak plate has to be one of the best values I have seen eating out in Colorado. $10.95 w side. It stood out and did not disappoint. One of them was more well-done than medium rare, but stayed tender. Great seasoning. Beer: I l checked ratings, finding their highest-rated brew, GTA, a barrel-aged rye stout that definitely exceeded expectations. I agree with the high ratings. Shout out to our server for letting an adult who wasn't very hungry grab a kids' steak. Shout out to the prices, which would provide value even with lesser food. My sandwich came at a 2019-20 Denver price, at least $5 less than equally good comps in 2025. 4.5 stars round up to five. Recommended.
Great food, wonderful views and friendly service! I've never had a bad meal at Collision. Their food is consistently delicious. I have had everything from their fish n'chips, orange maple bourbon salmon to their variety of yummy burgers. They also make some great cocktails. I'm not a beer drinker, but with this being a brewery there is a vast selection of beer to choose from. They have a large outdoor patio with breathtaking views of the mountains. I love taking out of town guests to this restaurant, so they can enjoy the food and the view. It really shows off the beauty of Colorado. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Our dog has even been treated to a doggie snack when we were there (not sure if this is always available). They do not take reservations, but you can give them a call before you head out and ask to be put on a waiting list. There is plenty of free parking next to the restaurant.
Really friendly staff and an amazing vibe. Automotive motif; don't let that keep you from visiting. The bar is amazing with sections of a vintage Chevy pickup bed under clear acrylic. Muffler Bearing - French farmhouse. Delightfully funky with the traditional farmhouse "must". A nice fruity finish makes it very refreshing. HopRod Lager - a very tasty lager hopped with Strata and Azacca for a slightly fruity aroma and a slightly bitter finish. This might be my favorite lager of all time. GTA - aged for 18 months in Laws rye barrels. 16%ABV, but smooth. Hints of prunes and dark chocolate on the nose. A seeet and complex beer with flavors of plum and charred marshmallow. Barrel Aged Peach Wheat - aged 10 months in Bear Creek bourbon barrels. Caramel and bourbon aromas. A great tart peach swath across your tongue. There's a bit of a lemon tone that takes you to a very light whiskey sour. Really good! Vintage IPA - 88 IBU...woohoo! Super interesting. The aroma reminds me of aged mizithra cheese (think Old Spaghetti Factory). The peach flavor hides but really comes out if you trill a sip. While it sits at a high IBU, it's very approachable. Great for any level of IPA lover. Road Rash IPA - amber in color with aromas of dark rye bread. The beer drinks very malt forward, which is fun for an IPA. It has an earthy finish with just the slightest hint of under ripe grapefruit. Like velour on your palate.
This is a 5-star brewpub! Atmosphere is fun and unique, designed like an auto repair shop, even down to details like the napkins, which are shop paper towels. Fun to look around. I didn't use the restroom, but the hubs said it resembled the Cars ride at Disneyland. Service was excellent! I didn't catch our server's name, but she was friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience great! She told us the place is family-owned and operated. The beer was great, according to the hubs. He had the Oktoberfest. I had a gin martini, which was also well made. The table split the fried cauliflower, which comes with a spicy bang bang sauce and blue cheese or ranch dressing. The menu is made for people with allergies--all of the dressings are vegan and taste great (we're not vegan). It was delicious! Portions are large. I got the mushroom ravioli, which was tasty and had roasted veggies on it. Highly, highly recommend a visit here!
First time here. My husband and I were out to try a brewery we had not been to before. It is a little out of the way but worth it. Ample parking in their lot. From a distance it does look like an auto repair place. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the day. We ordered a flight to be able to sample several beers and discuss. The staff were welcoming and made good recommendations. I glanced through their food menu and we would like to come back for dinner sometime. The beers were tasty and we enjoyed all the styles. My husband enjoys scotch and ordered a dram. He had some questions about their selection and one of the owners came out to chat with him about it. We will be back for another visit for sure.
Excellent service and yummy food! Had the chicken tenders, cheddar hashbrown and a peanut butter cookie skillet for dessert! Appreciate the gluten free options. We liked the atmosphere and theme. Good signature drinks, didn't try any beer but looked like a good selection.
Stopped in for lunch and a beer flight. Nice open seating area and outdoor patio space. Our Server was awesome and attentive. They had 20 different beers on tap so it was hard to narrow it down. We chose a beer wheel of 6 and later added 3 more tasters. They have so many different styles. The food is amazing! Their menu has everything from salads to burgers, sandwiches and entrees. Great lunch out, highly recommend!!
This place has awesome food! The beers were good as well but we definitely tried more food than beer. The Belgian IPA was a crisp and delicious beer. We sampled a flight of lighter styles and they were ok, the hefe was the best so had a pint of that. Everyone was willing to cut up their burgers/sandwich and share. The most notable item was the PB n J burger simply due to the novelty factor and fun factor. I've had other similar burgers elsewhere, but this one uses fried uncrustables as the bun and so when it was cut into it turned into a molten lava flow of PB and jelly. So, it's messy as hell! Albeit tasty! I only ate part of this one, I wouldn't want to eat an entire burger of this. I'm glad I had other flavors to eat. The Popper burger also very tasty and I ordered a delicious Rueben sandwich. The southwest soup also tasty. The French fries also stood out since they are more like potato wedge shaped, and crispy on outside then a soft, fluffy texture inside. Service was quick and attentive, overall great start to our time visiting colorado.
If you're in Longmont, this is a must stop. My husband and I shared: - PB&J Bacon Burger - Elote Mac + Fried Chicken The PB&J burger felt a bit gimmicky. It was good, but I'd probably go with a regular bun next time. The Elote Mac and cheese was phenomenal. I'd definitely recommend adding the fried chicken because it was equally delicious. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.
Full disclosure that I did not drink, so this review is focused on the food and environment. We came in as a group of 12 with my family the day before Thanksgiving. A family member had called ahead and made a reservation, so the staff pushed a couple tables together once we arrived. Drinks came out quickly, though with 12 people, the food understandably took a longer time than usual and people's dinners came out at different times. No big deal. My hatch chili Mac and cheese was very tasty. The fried whole pepper that they put on top is a nice touch. I added chicken to supplement the carbs with some protein. My family that had alcohol enjoyed both their cocktails and the beers on tap!
Met some friends here and it was our first visit. Really big place with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a large room for events or groups. They have a large selection of beer and cocktails. The server was helpful in decisions. We had the fried mushroom appetizer and they were very good. We ordered the beef tips and taters and the fish and chips. Had a great time and will definitely go back.
Dare I say the best Mac and cheese I've ever had? And although messy, and difficult to eat with your hands, the peanut butter and jelly bacon burger was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. My wife's friend recommended we try Collision Brewing Company while we were touring houses in Longmont. And I'm so glad she did and that we tried it! It's been a few days since we had their food and I'm still thinking about the elote mac and cheese. I'm salivating writing this review. The service was very friendly and quick. The ambiance on the outside was quiet and relaxed. However, on the inside it is very loud and noises echo easily. I'd recommend eating outside if you can.
Great selection of beers , however , there was power outage and we were held hostage to pay our bill , we weren't allowed to leave and then asked if we are ok to write our Cc number down and run after the power comes up. After 15 minutes of waiting for a bill for 2 beers , the bartender stalling for the system to be online. Then we find out of u use CC there a 4% charge. It's a shame because seem like a good place for a beer after work

So I was shopping in the nearby Walmart, which is the ONLY place I have been able to find CO postcards. Before I left the parking lot, I decided to do a "brewery near me" search. Imagine my surprise when something hitherto unknown to me popped up, Collision Brewing Company. Wow, gotta go. Great place with unique offerings, I particularly liked the "Oil Skick", a black IPA. Photo attached. But I was impressed by the great service at the bar, and the menu. I'll be uploading some menu pictures in a bit, but what really caught my eye were the pierogis! I regret being in a hurry, as I would have loved to have tried. Next time, and ther will be a Next time. read more

Okay put this place down as a must go. We ent and had a group of 6 We tried a little of everything but I'll focus on the best. I thoroughly enjoyed the cauliflower fried and dipped in wing sauce. Well done. And I am not a cauliflower person. Nachos equally awesome Now for the main event. I give you the pb&j burger. Two pb&j encrustables. Dipped in batter and deep fried. Those are the foundations of this monster. A well seasoned hamburger patty with bacon and a j that I am at a loss for words to describe. A thing of beauty !!! read more
We met our friends here for lunch during the week. Business was good for them despite being slightly remote. Our waiter, Alex, was good. I love when they share their opinions on the food with you. Weirdly none of us had a beer. They had a special on OldFashions so...... The drinks were made using a local bourbon (wintir something?). Very good! On to the food: I ordered turkey bacon Brie sandwich. Great but messy sandwich with jicama and apple slaw on the bottom. My husband got the mushroom Swiss burger and really liked it. Both of our sandwiches were on potato rolls which are so yummy. Sandwiches come with a side. He got tomato soup and I got side salad. Soup was homemade- it was very good. My friends ordered the schnitzel sandwich and toasted cheese. The bread on toasted cheese was too hard and the cheese wasn't really melted but other than that they liked their orders. read more
This review is based on food. I can't talk about their beer because I have not tried them except for one yesterday. Anyways, have you met their Chicken and Waffles in sandwich form? It's intimidating to say the least. I counted four pieces of thick bacon! That alone is impressive! Patties stacked so high and topped by an over medium egg. I'm thankful it's not over easy. Although the ooze of an egg is very photogenic. I mean this guy is huge and tall! Their waffle is good. Their chicken! Crunchy and Tasty! A side of tater tots. ( there are other options). We also ordered their grilled Ribeye! Good meat! Tender. With a side of wedge potatoes and asparagus. Their location is ideal. Wide open space with tons of parking. Patio to the front and back. read more

A brewery with good food or a restaurant with good beer? Your choice! Collision has a wide range of food options all made with fresh ingredients. I have been to this place multiple times and if you're not a beer drinker, this is still worth a try. I've had a couple of their burgers but over time but have to shout out the Colorado burger. Its messy so be aware. It was topped with a fried green chili (Medium spice level), guacamole, jalapeno sauce and pepper jack cheese. They made a decent fry but I tried the tater tots for $1 extra and crispy but that's the way I like it. We came for lunch and it was a perfect time. We've been here at night or on weekend and they can get busy. They have a good patio and allow dogs. They seem to rotate their beers. I enjoy IPAs and like they introduce a new version regularly. The Old Ball and Shane is their newest IPA which was 5% and very hoppy and refreshing if you like your beer that way. read more

Great selection of beer and food. The menu is quite eclectic and extensive with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. If you don't see something just ask, they'll try to accommodate you! The first time I went with a few friends, we enjoyed one of their firepits on the big patio with mountain views, very nice! Last time we stayed inside where the atmosphere is perfect for car lovers. It's a fun place with very friendly staff that takes food and drinks seriously. I may go back earlier next time to check out their Wednesday night yoga class before dinner! read more

Went here because menu stated that they had Louisiana hot chicken. They no longer have this dish. Food is good. It's brewery food which means burgers mostly. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and our beer. The atmosphere is loud. A guy next to us at a table was using the F word over and over. Not a place for young children. At least with the crowd that was there the day we were. Our waiter was very efficient. But, he was not fun at all. Very stoic. Would have given a 5 but bacon on turkey sandwich under cooked (no pic) Burgers very tasty! And beer good too. read more

One the the best meals during our vacation trip to Colorado! We stopped here on our way to Estes Park and it was the perfect all 4 of us LOVED our meals! Great find from Yelp, not sure how we've missed this place. They been here for 4 years, we driven passed 100 times. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items. Incredible building, decorated really cool. The bar has Chevrolet car headlights on one side and taillights on the other. Super cool car shop memorabilia all over, two crazy cool old gas pumps outside as you enter. Solid menu. Rueben really good, great flavor, thin meet stacked thick. The Elote was very good, spicy and not like any that I've had. I do have some constructive criticism. Mac&Cheese was great, but needed salt and none on the table. The Reuben tasted great, I could've used a little more moisture, maybe more dressing or more sauerkraut. The crème brûlé was incredible flavor cherry chocolate. The temp was too warm, but serious excellent flavor. We are still looking forward to coming back and trying more read more
Went there on 1/8/23. Got there around 1230pm. They were not too busy. Lots of tables. Looks like they have a bar area then they have a dining area. In the back looks like they have a banquet room. Everybody was very friendly and attentive. Good selection of beer from light to dark. Tried the palisade peach, Hefeweizen, brown and dark ale. All were pretty good. For food we tried the artichoke dip, Colorado burger and Schnitzel burger. The food was fantastic. So filling. For my son we got a side of Mac n Chz. He enjoyed it. Will definitely recommend this place. Cheers! read more

We started with the spinach artichoke dip, amazing. The kolsch was ok, the Drop Top Wheat was good. I had the Colorado Burger w/ sweet potato fries & it was delicious...I ate until I was uncomfortable. My husband had the Sirloin Steak & said that it was good but meh it came on a cheddar hash brown pancake which was interesting but not bad. I finished with a house margarita which was my favorites of all the drinks. All in all, I'd go back. Absolute get the spinach artichoke dip & house marg read more

What a great find! So impressed with the service, the food is amazing! Crispy fish n chips gluten free. Do you even know how hard that is?!?! Ordered a flight of ciders and my fiancé ordered a flight of beer. Great selection. The gluten free menu will have me back here for sure. Limitless in my opinion. Staff is happy and eager to serve with a smile. Can't wait to come back to the patio this summer with the fur babies. read more
