Moroccan Zucchini. Order it. This was our first visit to the unique sci-fi themed brewery with good music and welcoming staff. I love beer, but not hoppy beer, so their selection was near perfect for me. Their Triple and Vienna Lager were lovely. But the food! We split the hush puppies (who still makes hush puppies?) and they were spot-on robust balls of cornmeal goodness with two complementary sauces -- we liked to combine the two. We wanted another appetizer and were intrigued by the Moroccan Zucchini. We were blown away by the intermingling of flavors. Ask for a couple pieces of pita for the extra yumminess at the bottom of the bowl. Bringing my friends back this weekend.

Fun Fact: Outworld Brewing in Longmont offers a sci-fi atmosphere that is truly unique in the craft beer scene. Not only do you feel like you've been transported to some cantina on a distant star base, this brewery also transports your taste buds with their, dare I say, fine dining-esque dishes. Chef Alan takes brewery food to new heights. While there, I enjoyed: * Short Rib Carbonnade~A traditional Belgian sweet and sour beer-braised bone-in short rib lolipop stew served over stoemp (a Belgian-style root vegetable mash). Black Is Beautiful 2~Imperial Milk Stout with cinnamon & guajillo chilis. 9% ABV and 37 IBU Galactic Bandido's~Mexican lager. 4.7% ABV and 10 IBU * If you're looking for an out of this world food and beer experience, this spot is definitely worth the drive from Denver. They have ample parking and the staff is warm and welcoming. Plus, the taproom offers bar seating, regular tables, and some cool semi-private booths.

After traveling through six different states recently and mostly hitting pretty solid breweries the entire time this brewery, Outworld wins out on my favorite brewery that I paid a visit to. For one thing I'm an enormous sci-fi geek and this brewery is themed towards that. The atmosphere gives you the impression that you are on a space ship, perhaps a luxury liner admiring planet rings, comets and nebula. Speaking of nebula I got their Green Ring Nebula which is a Green Chile beer which was phenomenal! That also contributed to my high favoritism of this place. I was also in need of a snack and got some really good French Fries, a small portion of them as I didn't want a large amount of them. Service was great too! I was so enthralled I bought one of their shirts but could see myself purchasing all of their shirt options as I love the neon cyberpunk look they had to them which is a weakness of mine with clothes purchases. Definitely making a point to return and eager to enjoy it once again!

Fried chicken sandwich with balsamic asparagus.

The fried chicken was crispy and very flavor. I chose the side of balsamic asparagus and they were cooked perfectly. The beer had a nice sweet note to it and complimented the sandwich very well. Everyone else that I was with enjoyed all of their food as well with a special note to the shrimp etoufee. For a brewery, this was an excellent surprise. Would definitely come back.

    Japanese horror night!

Outworld Brewing is such a fun adventure! If you want to feel like Luke Skywalker venturing into the Mos Eisley Cantina, this is the place!!! The sci-fi seating and futuristic bar will fulfill any Star Wars fan. Not only does this brewery boast impressive decor for sci-fi fans, but also have fun theme nights for fans of every niche. When my sister and I went for a Halloween dinner, our waitress donned an amazing Ripley costume from Alien, complete with an alien bursting from her chest. They had a Japanese horror night that was a lot of fun to participate in. Something that sets this brewery apart from others is the food...It is delicious! The schnitzel sandwich is a real standout. I would recommend Outworld Brewery for drinks or dinner.

I was looking for a brewery that also had food so decided to check this place out. I tried both their rum barrel and whiskey barrel beers and those were both really good. The burger also was really good and the fries were nice and crispy. The place that I really interesting vibe to it and kind of sounded like they were playing Circus music the whole time but I didn't find it annoying.

Had two flights and not one bad beer. Not only that but well above average. Super impressed! The science-fiction decor and theme is fantastic. Been to most of Colorado breweries and this one is a top for me.

Check out some of the amazing food that you can order for takeout..

What I love about outworld brewing is the phenomenal atmosphere and great hospitality but what is most important that I love about this restaurant is how creative and yummy their food is. There Poboy's are out of this world literally!!! The taste, crunch and the savory taste of flavor is worth trying and don't forget to have one of the ice cold craft beers that they make in house.

    Superpink margarita!

Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. The service was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We waited about 20 minutes just for drinks and eventually had to go up to the bar ourselves. When we asked about it, the bartender simply said, "I'm working on it," which was frustrating given how long we had already been waiting. There were 4 tales in the restaurant and like 8 employees Things did not improve from there. Our food came out very slowly and one of the meals had to be sent back. We ended up having to go to the bar multiple times, including for a to go box and even to get our check, because no one was checking on our table. To make matters worse, the menu states that guests are asked to limit their visit to 90 minutes. However, due to the slow and inattentive service, we were there for nearly two hours through no fault of our own. There also used to be a sense of customer service here, which seems to have changed. To top it off, gratuity was automatically added without it being mentioned or explained. That felt especially inappropriate considering we ended up doing a large portion of the service ourselves. It's like they figured they were getting auti gratuity so didn't provide any service Really disappointing experience overall. Not sure what changed, but this was a huge step down from our previous visit.

Seth provided amazing service and was fun to talk to. He recommended all the yummy stuff for us and even took my side of fried green beans vs cheese curds. He's not wrong, cheese curds are more popular and fried green beans are less commonly found. We freaking love the fried green beans! So deliciously coated with the batter and it goes so well as a beer pairing! My favorite was the Strawberry Vanilla Sour and the Radler, the orange juice and the lemonade on top of the cream ale was so tasty and refreshing! My partner got the Psychotic Balaclava Horchata Imperial Stout as it was award winning and the Lazy Hazy Crazy Day-z NEIPA, both are yummy too. A lot of ppl are here for the food to go with their beers, we'd have to come back for a proper meal next time. Get the green beans if you're here for beers!

They have indoor and patio seating options. We sat on the patio. The weather was beautiful! You request service by using a little sign on the table. Sign up means you need something, sign down means do not disturb. We actually really liked this model; whenever the sign was up service was super prompt and friendly. Wish more places did this. We started with the Colorado Poutine. For entrees our group ordered the Bacon Onion Jam Burger, White Cheddar Bacon Burger, Bulgogi Burger, and the Hatch Chile Philly. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My fries were a tad over-salted, but still super tasty. I really liked how the toasted buns actually held up to the weight of the burgers. You know how some places use flimsy buns which fall apart while you eat burger? Not the case here. One of our party ordered the Fried Green Beans as their side. Personally I wasn't a fan, but they liked them a lot - said they were the best fried green beans they've ever had. If you're craving a hefty burger - this is the spot for you!

There are multiple seating options - inside, patio, or rooftop. We opted for the rooftop and the vibes were excellent. The weather was gorgeous and the rooftop patio is nicely decorated with live plants and a big bar running the length of the patio. Our server was excellent. I think his name was Danny. One of our party has an alcohol intolerance, so needs to avoid foods cooked with alcohol. Danny was super helpful in guiding our menu options with this information. He confirmed multiple dishes with the chef before we ordered. For food, we started with the Truffle Parm Fries, Fried Brussels Sprouts, and the Bangin' Cauliflower. All were delicious. The cauliflower was extremely good, I can see why so many reviews mention it. For entrees, our group ordered the Short Rib Tacos, Jumbo Crab Cakes, Chilean Salmon, and the Avocado Salad with Seared Ahi. No complaints around the table. The meat in the Short Rib tacos is super tasty. Portions were good sized, however the Crab Cake dish is definitely smaller than the others. Good option if you aren't super hungry. The Chilean Salmon was cooked perfectly. We didn't really have any complaints at all. Solid dining experience. Would definitely return if I'm ever back in the Longmont area.

I called ahead and Sarah said I could reserve space inside or outside seating for my party but when we got there, the host put us outside and THEN told us they didn't have service outside and we'd have to order at the bar. WTF!? So, we moved inside and were the only ones in the place for about 30 minutes. The food was good but I'm done with everything being an add-on item - example: cheese on the burger is $1.50. Really? House salad was $2.00 additional replacing onion rings on the pulled pork sandwich? Soft drinks were reasonable at $3.00 each. We ordered a kids fish plate ($8.00) and wanted to order one additional fish filet and were charged for a second kids plate (again $8.00). KIds' Mac & Cheese was pretty good. The cost-of-living adder on the check that most restaurants have dropped is now LUMPED together with tax on the bill so as to hide the additional amount. On my bill of $146.00 - they added $17.36 for tax and adjustment. Working backwards, I guess that is an additional $5.00 or 3%. Not too much but it's misleading to price a menu this way. One only saving grace was I could pay with a charge card and they didn't add a fee on top of all that. I guess future customers will see if that changes because I'm done.
