Great lunch at The Passenger Restaurant today. Ghost Burger, Santa Fe Salad, Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Kūmara Fries. All tasty. Server was very nice. Will be back.

Beautful space in the old Dicken Opera House. Like instagram worthy beautiful. We ordered some mocktails that were very tasty. We decided on tapas so we could get numerous different plates. Everything was so good and the food came out quickly. As we were leaving the manager/owner came over and explained their passport rewards program and stamped our 'passport' according to the dishes we ordered since they came from all over the world. That night they were having a blind tasting event and a lot of people were coming in for it. Great place to stop in for even if its just for a drink at the gorgeous bar.

What fun! Went in and had some of their tapas. $6. Nice little selection. Suya and bunny chow were our favorites. Live music. A wonderful guitar player in the main bar area. They also have two other rooms to dine in if you want a different atmosphere. Staff were friendly. Food was nice. Cocktails were excellent! A fun affordable night.

Ghost burger and fries- "pretty dang good" was the hubby's comment.

I was looking for a dinner spot for the hubby and me and came across The Passenger. Didn't look at the reviews since we were pressed for time. When we walked in we were hesitant as we were the only ones in the restaurant, not a good sign! Our sever Shayla was friendly and super sweet, she took our drink order, we had a glass of wine. She returned with our wine and told us all about the building and the restaurant and a little about the owner. She said we could walk around and explore so we took our glasses of wine and explored the different rooms, pretty cool place! The menu is eclectic, foods from around the world. I ordered the beef chimichurri and the hubby got the ghost burger. Both were delicious! We were pleasantly surprised. We will be back, possibly for their mystery dinner, Since not two are the same!

We were in the area and decided to try The Passenger. We both ordered the tofu sandwich with fries and LOVED it. Sometimes vegan options are bland and boring, but not this sandwich. Every component was perfect, including the sear on the tofu, the pickled onions, toasted bun, etc. It was delicious! The waitress was very nice and helpful as well. I took the attached pic after I'd already eating half of my sandwich. ;)

We went for one of the Blind Mystery Menu dinners on NYE and can't wait to go back! Each course was absolutely delicious (we chose the vegan option but the meat eaters sounded pretty happy too) and the whole experience course my course sensing textures and detecting flavors (which are out of this world)while blindfolded was something so new and different and yes you can eat soup line folded better than you think ;) We're excited to go back on a regular night too. We're excited to have them in Longmont

This was our first visit since this restaurant rebranded from Roots to The Passenger. We arrived about 4pm on a Saturday and were off to a bit of a rocky start with the service initially. It took 5 minutes for anyone to notice we'd entered. Once we were seated, we both ordered a drink to sip on while browsing the tapas menu. The happy hour is a good deal, and we liked all the drinks we tried (house Merlot, Taj Mahal, and the First Lady). Unfortunately, my partner's drink came right away. The waitress said she would check on mine. She came back quickly empty handed and asked if we wanted to order. I didn't really want to yet since I still had no beverage, but we ordered 1 tapa and figured we could keep browsing. The tapa came out a few minutes later ... still no drink. We were prompted to order entrees. My partner said we'd prefer to wait until my drink arrived before ordering more. This was when the waitress mentioned they were short that day. I get it! She was friendly, doing her best, and obviously does not control the bar by herself. We ordered two more tapas, a couple more drinks as the evening went on, and a dessert. Everything we had was really delicious! There were a couple of instances of different servers, bringing food and drinks to the table that weren't ours. I think this was just a side effect of the staff being really busy. This place definitely deserves a chance. The food and drinks were both fantastic (the pretzel, poutine, chefs board, and the traveling donut - curry flavor! Amazingly good!). The service could use a little bit of work, but I think that is true a lot of places given the macro environment around finding people right now. The staff they do have are doing their best! They also have a cute frequent flyer program, so make sure you ask for your passport and start collecting stamps! I hope one day they will be able to expand the menu to offer more Arabian and Indian food options. Mezze would be great on the tapas menu! Note: There is a 3% fee added to each check for the kitchen. Just be aware.

Salad course - beets, arugula and several interesting sauces

We had the mystery menu dinner - all 4 dishes were excellent and used fresh and international ingredients in a very interesting way. Chef Madhoo Seth aptly accommodated all our dietary restrictions. Service was good with several wait staff on hand. All dishes for all patrons came out at once for a blindfold test. We liked the idea of guessing what was in the dish and it was fun to do so! Interesting space - had a bank vault and a picture of a world map which was cool - it used to be Dickens Opera House. Nice touch at the end was a glass of champagne for guessing the desert grain that was used. I would definitely go back to try other dishes!

The food is delicious. Especially the Brussel sprouts and Pierogis! There is something for everyone on the menu. The service is great and the wait staff is very gracious! The restaurant is located in Olde Town Longmont and use to be the town bank. You can dine in the vault which is said to be Haunted! They have lost of events and shows in the Opera House upstairs. Don't miss this great experience when in Longmont.

We made a reservation a couple hours before our arrival and it worked out great. Even though it wasn't super busy, we had a table waiting for us on the patio when we arrived. Our server was excellent. I think her name was Lucy. She did a great job explaining the menu and daily specials. She gave some solid recommendations and made sure we had what we needed throughout the meal. Our group started with the Rhode Island Calamari. Very good - no complaints. For entrees, our group ordered the Fish N Chips, Tuscan Chicken, Steak Frites, Mahi Fish Tacos, and the daily special which was a Surf & Turf. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The mashed potatoes which comes with some of the entrees is seriously so good - some of the best restaurant mashed potatoes I've ever had. The fish with the Fish N Chips was excellent. Both parties who got the Tuscan Chicken raved about how good their dish was. The fries were very tasty as well. Honestly everything was good. The only criticism was the Steak which came on the Surf & Turf was a tad over-cooked than requested. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Cake and the Crème Brûlée. Again, delicious. I would 1000% come back if I lived closer. Yes it's a bit pricier than your typical chain options, but I felt the quality of food and service was worth it.

There are multiple seating options - inside, patio, or rooftop. We opted for the rooftop and the vibes were excellent. The weather was gorgeous and the rooftop patio is nicely decorated with live plants and a big bar running the length of the patio. Our server was excellent. I think his name was Danny. One of our party has an alcohol intolerance, so needs to avoid foods cooked with alcohol. Danny was super helpful in guiding our menu options with this information. He confirmed multiple dishes with the chef before we ordered. For food, we started with the Truffle Parm Fries, Fried Brussels Sprouts, and the Bangin' Cauliflower. All were delicious. The cauliflower was extremely good, I can see why so many reviews mention it. For entrees, our group ordered the Short Rib Tacos, Jumbo Crab Cakes, Chilean Salmon, and the Avocado Salad with Seared Ahi. No complaints around the table. The meat in the Short Rib tacos is super tasty. Portions were good sized, however the Crab Cake dish is definitely smaller than the others. Good option if you aren't super hungry. The Chilean Salmon was cooked perfectly. We didn't really have any complaints at all. Solid dining experience. Would definitely return if I'm ever back in the Longmont area.

Uh, yes please! They have their own parking lot. We were welcomed in and seated as we had our reservations. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. The bar is located inside the pirate ship! We all came dressed in our tropical attire. The drink menu is fun and our server, Chase was the best! He gave us great recommendations and made the evening fun. We ordered the Pu Pu Platter for the table to share and then my husband and I split an order of the crab cakes. The platter had feta wontons, chicken wings (I'll come back to those), fried calamari, Spam musubi, red curry cheese tots, edamame, mac salad and seaweed salad. The seaweed salad was a new taste for me. I liked the dressing and overall it was tasty. The mac salad was traditional island mac. Good stuff. Edamame is not normally my fav, but this was seasoned well. Red curry cheese tots, yum!! The Spam musubi had a dipping sauce and together that was a tasty snack. The fried calamari, was crispy outside, not greasy and tender inside. Well done! The feta wontons were a fun combo of crispy wonton, cucumber and a creamy feta spread. Now, the chicken wings. They are not on the menu as something you can order on its own. I wish they were, as we would have ordered more! They come with a gochujang-teriyaki glaze topped with sesame seeds and scallion. Absolutely the best thing on the platter! Our crab cakes were made from Pacific Rock crab and accompanied by fresh avocado on a bed of smoked tomato pureé garnished with mango salsa. A perfect bite. I do need to talk about the drinks. My husband had a Zombie, Flor de Caña 4 year Oro rum, Planteray OFTD rum, cinnamon syrup, grapefruit, fassionola, lime and a dash of Leopold Brothers absinthe. He loved it! I asked Chase for a recommendation and he said his fav was the Three Dots and a Dash. I went with that. This drink had Dry Land Distillers aged cane rum, Planteray original dark rum, falernum, allspice dram, honey syrup, fresh lime, orange and Angostura bitters. I sipped and savored that for the evening. What a fun experience. I will definitely be coming back.
