Beautful space in the old Dicken Opera House. Like instagram worthy beautiful. We ordered some mocktails that were very tasty. We decided on tapas so we could get numerous different plates. Everything was so good and the food came out quickly. As we were leaving the manager/owner came over and explained their passport rewards program and stamped our 'passport' according to the dishes we ordered since they came from all over the world. That night they were having a blind tasting event and a lot of people were coming in for it. Great place to stop in for even if its just for a drink at the gorgeous bar.

What fun! Went in and had some of their tapas. $6. Nice little selection. Suya and bunny chow were our favorites. Live music. A wonderful guitar player in the main bar area. They also have two other rooms to dine in if you want a different atmosphere. Staff were friendly. Food was nice. Cocktails were excellent! A fun affordable night.

Ghost burger and fries- "pretty dang good" was the hubby's comment.

I was looking for a dinner spot for the hubby and me and came across The Passenger. Didn't look at the reviews since we were pressed for time. When we walked in we were hesitant as we were the only ones in the restaurant, not a good sign! Our sever Shayla was friendly and super sweet, she took our drink order, we had a glass of wine. She returned with our wine and told us all about the building and the restaurant and a little about the owner. She said we could walk around and explore so we took our glasses of wine and explored the different rooms, pretty cool place! The menu is eclectic, foods from around the world. I ordered the beef chimichurri and the hubby got the ghost burger. Both were delicious! We were pleasantly surprised. We will be back, possibly for their mystery dinner, Since not two are the same!

We were in the area and decided to try The Passenger. We both ordered the tofu sandwich with fries and LOVED it. Sometimes vegan options are bland and boring, but not this sandwich. Every component was perfect, including the sear on the tofu, the pickled onions, toasted bun, etc. It was delicious! The waitress was very nice and helpful as well. I took the attached pic after I'd already eating half of my sandwich. ;)

We went for one of the Blind Mystery Menu dinners on NYE and can't wait to go back! Each course was absolutely delicious (we chose the vegan option but the meat eaters sounded pretty happy too) and the whole experience course my course sensing textures and detecting flavors (which are out of this world)while blindfolded was something so new and different and yes you can eat soup line folded better than you think ;) We're excited to go back on a regular night too. We're excited to have them in Longmont

This was our first visit since this restaurant rebranded from Roots to The Passenger. We arrived about 4pm on a Saturday and were off to a bit of a rocky start with the service initially. It took 5 minutes for anyone to notice we'd entered. Once we were seated, we both ordered a drink to sip on while browsing the tapas menu. The happy hour is a good deal, and we liked all the drinks we tried (house Merlot, Taj Mahal, and the First Lady). Unfortunately, my partner's drink came right away. The waitress said she would check on mine. She came back quickly empty handed and asked if we wanted to order. I didn't really want to yet since I still had no beverage, but we ordered 1 tapa and figured we could keep browsing. The tapa came out a few minutes later ... still no drink. We were prompted to order entrees. My partner said we'd prefer to wait until my drink arrived before ordering more. This was when the waitress mentioned they were short that day. I get it! She was friendly, doing her best, and obviously does not control the bar by herself. We ordered two more tapas, a couple more drinks as the evening went on, and a dessert. Everything we had was really delicious! There were a couple of instances of different servers, bringing food and drinks to the table that weren't ours. I think this was just a side effect of the staff being really busy. This place definitely deserves a chance. The food and drinks were both fantastic (the pretzel, poutine, chefs board, and the traveling donut - curry flavor! Amazingly good!). The service could use a little bit of work, but I think that is true a lot of places given the macro environment around finding people right now. The staff they do have are doing their best! They also have a cute frequent flyer program, so make sure you ask for your passport and start collecting stamps! I hope one day they will be able to expand the menu to offer more Arabian and Indian food options. Mezze would be great on the tapas menu! Note: There is a 3% fee added to each check for the kitchen. Just be aware.

Salad course - beets, arugula and several interesting sauces

We had the mystery menu dinner - all 4 dishes were excellent and used fresh and international ingredients in a very interesting way. Chef Madhoo Seth aptly accommodated all our dietary restrictions. Service was good with several wait staff on hand. All dishes for all patrons came out at once for a blindfold test. We liked the idea of guessing what was in the dish and it was fun to do so! Interesting space - had a bank vault and a picture of a world map which was cool - it used to be Dickens Opera House. Nice touch at the end was a glass of champagne for guessing the desert grain that was used. I would definitely go back to try other dishes!

The food is delicious. Especially the Brussel sprouts and Pierogis! There is something for everyone on the menu. The service is great and the wait staff is very gracious! The restaurant is located in Olde Town Longmont and use to be the town bank. You can dine in the vault which is said to be Haunted! They have lost of events and shows in the Opera House upstairs. Don't miss this great experience when in Longmont.

We went here for dinner & drinks Sun 8/24/25 on our last evening of our trip to Colorado. A neigborhood gastropub in a renovated 1915 grocery store. They offer a bar with a great selection of premium craft cocktails, whiskies, local beers, & wine. We sat at the bar and ordered our first drinks from the affable Tony S. And it was Happy Hour. Bell's Two Hearted Ale ($8) & Pinot Grigio ($6) - Nice! We looked over the limited menu with selections you won't find in most places. We had a cup of tomato basil soup ($7), mac & cheese ($14) starter/shareable - English red cheddar, parmesan, cavatappi, crispy prosciutto, mushrooms-excellent & piping hot, & steak frites ($34) - grilled 8 oz Angus, rosemary and smoked blue cheese butter, house-cut shoestring fries - perfectly cooked, large portion. Dessert was a delicious cheese cake. If we lived nearby we would certainly try other menu items. The bar has a movie loop on the TV produced by the co-owner. It is a facinating film highlighting classic cartoons, highlights from old movies, & all the glamour & kitsch from the '60 & ' 70s movie & TV. Quite the conversation starter. There is indoor & an outside patio for relaxing. Note: limited parking, but plenty of street parking, just watch for the signage. Hours: Sun-Thu 4-9:30pm, Fri & Sat 3-10pm, Sun brunch 9am-1pm. A serendipitous find which was friendly & fun, with great drinks & food. Staff is excellent. Thanks again to Tony S. We had a fun time. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY USA

I was a little irritated, as it was slightly breezy, but I got over that quick once I tried the food. We had the steak frites, the Thai pork tacos, an old fashioned, and the chocolate decadence for dessert. The steak frites were great- the truffle fries were seasoned with garlic, and served with a great cream sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked rare. Super tender. But the tacos absolutely stole the show. Sweet and spicy with a touch of crunch, and the potato fries were stellar too! The old fashioned really let the whiskey shine, with just a touch of citrus. I think I would try a different dessert though- the decadence was good but didn't quite live up to the tacos. The interior was decorated very cute- mid century modern mixed with plants and some neon signs that said cute things. Our server was excellent- very friendly and on top of it.
