Soooo cute!! Probably my favorite coffee shop on Pearl. We ordered a croissant and an iced mocha, both of which were super yummy. Walking outside to the back patio felt like walking into a little oasis! Can't wait to return.

We came here Christmas Eve and we were back the next day for more. The drinks are delicious, especially the mocha. The staff is incredibly friendly and the baristas are masters of their craft. The prices are so good! You can get a coffee for $3... in today's society? I'm floored but in a good way. We love trident. Looking for a good study spot? Boom they got it. Looking for a place to chat with friends or maybe even a lover? Bam this is the place. Looking to get a mocha and read a good book? Do I even need to say it.... They got it. This is the place. This is the place you've been looking for. Trust me.

This coffee shop is open the latest on Pearl street which is the biggest appeal. It's also very spacious and the bookstore is cool. They have a pretty nice drink menu. I had the golden milk latte. It was pretty spicy but I wasn't a huge fan of the ginger syrup flavor. There have great foam as well. Service is always nice but they make the drink on the spot after order so it can get busy with a line.

This book store & cafe is awesome! It's a small book store with a busy coffee house attached but tons and tons of seating. I wanted to talk about this super yummy focaccia that I bought there. OMG.... Totally loved it!

Really cool mom and pop bookstore located on Pearl Street in the heart of Boulder. Great that tourism and locals can keep local bookstores alive in the modern age. Interior is very chic and the attached coffee/tea/beer cafe is a good touch.

Trident Bookstore and Cafe is a legit treasure of Boulder. I went in during a snowstorm around 8:30am and it was PACKED. It seemed like all the locals came in to warm up and get out of the house. The bookstore is really cool and has great books to choose from. I walked over to the cafe and ordered a Cafe Florentine. It was a little bizarre that they served it to me in a glass, but maybe they were out of mugs? I would love to visit this place in the summer because they have a large indoor/outdoor space that would be fun to work in. Interior space has beautiful classic brick, a cozy fireplace and creaky wooden floors. It's timeless. I've read a few things about the staff that weren't so nice, but I had a good experience and would recommend this place to a friend!

Only the very best muffin I've *ever* had, and I've had quite a few! It was the lemon rosemary. Incredible.

Very rude and off putting interaction at the register. Espresso is very acidic, pastry was decent, cozy vibe.

More fun than most coffee shops. Good wifi. Juvenile music can be avoided on the back patio (until 6:00).

One of our favorite things during the pandemic when restaurants could reopen was picking up their in house chicken pot pie. It's my husband's absolute favorite chicken recipe which I used to make myself. Though I am unable to make it now that l have lost a lot of vision and not a single one we have bought elsewhere was sufficient until we ordered from The Post Boulder. After a short time it became too labor intensive for the Post to make in house back then with limited staff so they contracted with a pie facility in Denver. Compared to their own it was merely adequate so we moved on to there other in house specialties. As we were ordering gold specials for Sunday!s big game, I saw that the daily specials now include Chicken Pot Pies Thursday's so we went to try it. This ficus a personal size freshly made this morning it was nice to have for a meal with a side salad. But though good, it was not as hearty as the one we loved 5 years ago. Staff was friendly and attentive and my husbands favorite beer (El Korn) was on tap and my iced tea was customized perfectly . We even brought most of the salad home as it was a large serving for a lunch. We'll be back on Sunday for our wings and other treats that we need to pick up. And we can come back again for a lunch or dinner as the have more items for people like me who cannot eat fried chucked, with their grilled chicken or salmon.

Started with the cauliflower bites in sweet chili sauce -- and let's be clear -- these were not polite, side-salad energy cauliflower. These were "touch one and we're no longer friends" cauliflower. Sweet, crispy, addictive. I fell in love against my will. Then the fried half chicken arrived. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside -- like someone's Southern aunt spent years perfecting it. And yes -- there's a gluten-free fried chicken option that somehow tastes just as good. A plot twist I didn't see coming. The collard greens had that smoky-sweet-Sunday vibe, and once the house hot sauce entered the chat? Full gospel choir moment. And William at the bar? Welcoming, honest, and actually tells you what's good -- not "everything is amazing" menu-script energy. The man can be trusted.

For food, we each got a side Caesar salad. Large and with lots of flavor, they were very good. We each then got the Mediterranean pizza. I added chicken to mine. My wife liked hers, while I was disappointed in mine. I didn't find the flavor to be great, and the crust was rather flimsy and disappointing. Pizza here on our first visit had been great, so again, this was disappointing. Service was friendly enough. I'm sure we'll be back again.

From game days (televised or board/card) to happy hour catch ups I love coming here for the laid back and family friendly vibes. I've enjoyed having my birthday party here for the last handful of years (they have amazing event space). As it's family friendly my crew always feels happy to bring their well behaved little one along. While my friends are sure to bring activities for their kiddos (books, toys, educational iPad devices) some folks aren't as considerate. I've definitely had the unfortunate experience of kids running amuck while their parents are fully attentive only to their brewskis. This was particularly disturbing as I've been recovering from a knee injury for several months and my partner has often been with me and on crutches. Would love to see people take more responsibility for their children's behavior when taking them out in public for everyone's safety. While it's Boulder afterall I hold hope that parents will look after their kids if they decide to bring them in or drop them to the nearby kiddos climbing facility if they wanna play. Looking forward to many more good times with friends at this awesome locally owned gem.

That's OK though because it was very flavorful and delicious. It also had a slaw on top and the bun was very soft. I also love the fry on the french fries as it wasn't too heavy or too light. I would definitely come back and try other foods. It was quite busy for a lunch during a weekday, which is a great sign that it's high-quality.
