Banana black sesame toast - A slice of bread is served with banana slices, black sesame seeds, and a generous drizzle of chocolate sauce on top. A halved strawberry is placed on the side of the plate. The dish is presented on a round, light-colored plate, set on a wooden table.

A delightful spot for a light breakfast! What we got: - espresso tonic: strong taste! My friend loved it. - latte: very good, as expected. - bacon breakfast sandwich: felt very cheese forward, the bacon was cut into pieces vs strips. - banana and black sesame toast: the show stopper of the morning. Aesthetically beautiful and SO DELICIOUS. I would come back for this alone! Kid friendly: there was a kids corner that looked great with coloring and some toys. I'll be back!

The image shows the exterior wall of a building decorated with a vibrant mural that includes abstract shapes and patterns. The mural prominently displays the words "COFFEE," "BEER," and "WINE" in large letters. There is a small outdoor seating area with a green umbrella and a flower bed with pink, purple, and white flowers. A person is sitting on a chair with a dog nearby, and the sky is partly cloudy.

What a vibe! Cute little coffee shop with creative drinks and small bites. We got a yuzu espresso and it was so perfectly balanced between the tart yuzu and rich espresso. Hope to visit again next time we're in Boulder!

What we ordered - The image shows a breakfast setting on a marble table, including a white plate with microgreens, a slice of egg casserole garnished with herbs, and a whole strawberry. Two coffee drinks are present: one hot latte with latte art on top and one iced coffee with ice cubes. The scene suggests a cafe environment with a focus on breakfast and coffee offerings.

Boulder is home to a plethora of great cafes and coffee shops, and now I have to add Creature Comforts to the rotation. Talk about a hip, trendy, and laid back space with an action-packed menu of treats and bevvies. I only had a coffee while I was here, but it was tasty enough to rev my engines and propel me to a whole new level of caffeinated goodness. I've said it many times before, if there's an espresso tonic on the menu I will order it. Their take is sweetened with a little bit of yuzu, and yeehaw this was fantastic. Now they are operating as a "non-tipping cafe" and at first I rolled my eyes. But to be honest, knowing that they don't accept tips, I found the menu to be priced appropriately all around. Look we all know prices are ridiculous right now, however, I found that the amount we spent on all our items was on par to other cafes offering a similar, higher end experience. Kudos to a well thought out and unique menu. I mean, where else are you finding sweet miso matcha, five spice lattes, and furikake butter toasts?! My wife loved her latte and egg salad toast. Originally I was going to give them four stars instead of five, but I have no notes. Staff was personable, the space inviting, and everything we ordered was excellent. I tip my cap to you, Creature Comforts!

Wow! I stopped by Creature Comforts Cafe for an afternoon coffee, and I absolutely loved everything about it - from the interior to the taste of the drinks! Everything was cute and perfect. First of all, this is a no tipping café, which means they pay their workers a living wage and set their prices to do so. I absolutely think more establishment should follow suit. I ordered an iced salted honey latte and my partner had an iced sweet Ube latte. A lot of their drinks feature Asian flavors, for example they have a miso hot chocolate, five spice latte, black sesame latte - you get the picture. They also have a whole section dedicated to flavored matcha! I was happy to see they have a wide variety of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks. Nondairy and alternative milks are available. I didn't try the food, but the menu looked amazing! They have a variety of sweet and savory milk bread toasts and sandwich paninis. There is an option to sub in gluten free and vegan bread. They have a mimosa on the menu so you could come here for a little breakfast, coffee, and a cocktail if you wanted. They also serve wine and beer. I can't wait to come back and support Creature Comforts! Such a beautiful community oriented, yummy space in Boulder!

Would definitely return. Wish they had fresh plain oatmeal but was yummy all the same. Bread for toast was too like brioche for me. I prefer a hearty grain bread for a toast with a mash up on it. But was yummy !! Coffee strong ... and delicious. Ambiance open and airy - big garage doors open to fresh air !!! Service friendly.

Two beverages are on a marble table in a cafe: one is an iced coffee with cream and ice cubes, and the other is a tall glass of red-colored drink with ice. The background features potted plants and a woman working on a laptop, with a modern interior design and natural lighting.

Really nice and modern feeling cafe. Very spacious and clean feeling decor. The people were super nice as well. The yuzu espresso tonic which is a signature was actually really good and that was my first time trying an espresso tonic. The yuzu flavor was actually pretty strong and it tasted nice. The blueberry lavender sage tea was unsweetened and tart. Very nice refreshing drink. The chocolate ginger pound cake that they source from bread works was pretty good. Was a it dry but not too sweet. Service was very friendly and quick. The prices here are a bit higher but they don't ask for tip since they include it in the prices of the drinks and food which is fine.

IM SO MAD THAT I HAVENT TRIED THIS YET! It was so so good I'm upset that I've been settling for less. Food and drinks so so good - it's a little difficult to find good seating for working with a laptop in there, but better than most places in Boulder. So 100% recommend going - just make sure your laptop is charged

This café, located on East Pearl street, opened mid-2023 and is a great addition to Boulder. The atmosphere is relaxed and bright with lots of natural light, white walls accented with touches of forest green. There is a variety of seating options including bar stools, a community table, a couch, and long benches. A couple garage doors lead to a small patio. The menu offers coffee drinks, tea, beer and wine all day, with a limited selection of lunch items and a few desserts; the focus is on simplicity. I recently went for lunch with a few friends, and the food was good, light and fresh tasting. I love the attention to details, such as a the pretty bronze silverware, the handmade touch on the chai or cappuccino. It's also great that this place is tip-free; no more pressure to press a %25 button when it's time to pay. We need more businesses such as this one: woman-owned and locally sourced!

I come here all the time, my favorite thing to order is their goat cheese spinach panini. Excellent portions, excellent ambiance and excellent service. A vast menu with interesting specials!

Street view - A clear glass filled with iced dark beverage, likely coffee or soda, sits on a table in the foreground. The background features an urban street scene with buildings, a crosswalk, street signs, and a cloudy sky. The scene appears to be taken from inside a cafe or restaurant, looking out onto the street.

Employees are nice but ownership is awful. They post signs saying no tips but you are paying a tip in the cost of your purchase.

5 Stars across the board- coffee, pastries, atmosphere, service…read more The coffee here is fantastic. Full stop. I got a cortado so I could really enjoy the espresso, and enjoy I did! The pastries are the kind you'd hope for in a dedicated bakery. Every one of them was exceptional and I could pick a favorite among the three I tried. HIGHLY recommend the: - potato rosemary danish, - kouign amman (pronounced queen aman), - and apple fritter (these tend to sell out early!) I may be back later today or tomorrow to get more of these. They're THAT good. The staff was lovely and that's worth mentioning for a coffee shop that's so good you would accept a bit of snoot. Super kind and open to offering suggestions. And atmosphere is 10/10. Grab a seat, your laptop, and some f&b and enjoy. We got a seat in a little side room with a skylight and big plant (still open to the main room) and hung out for a while. Overall, the kind of coffee shop that makes me wish I lived here to do some work here, enjoy their brews, and order their Thanksgiving pies for my fam!

The breakfast sandwich (with sausage) was good - the bun it was on was super soft and a mismatch for the structured sandwich. It ended up being hard to eat. The Roman sandwich was ok but had too much cheese. Our coffee (drip and an oatmilk latte) were good. It was busy on a Tuesday morning at 8:30, we were lucky to get a table for two.
