The UPS Store on the Alameda is overall okay , it gets the job done. I've had a mix of experiences here over time. Some of the staff are truly exceptional , helpful, efficient, and friendly. They're the reason I keep coming back, especially when I need to ship something quickly or get notary services. Pricing is same across all UPS . That said, not everyone on the team seems equally committed. There's a young, tall guy who works there who honestly doesn't seem like he wants to be. He tends to move slow, avoids eye contact, and gives off a "why am I here" vibe, which can be frustrating when you're in a hurry. It definitely stands out compared to the great service some of his coworkers provide. So, mixed bag. If you catch the right staff, you're in great hands. If not, well... patience helps. read more

I go out of my way to go to this specific UPS location cuz the workers are so chill. Parking sucks and it's a busy street during rush hour, but everyone here makes it worthwhile. Finally due for a review. I've been coming here for over a decade. No snooty attitudes or angry workers here. Just calm, friendly people there to help pack and ship your stuff, drop off Amazon returns, and everything else you need. Cheaper across the board than FedEx in my experience. Obviously more comfortable than a USPS Post Office. 5/5 no notes here. read more

I had an amazing experience at the store a couple of days ago. I had sent some original documents from this location using USPS, but 10 days later I still couldn't locate the envelope (there was no proof of delivery). I was desperate and went back to the store to seek help. Two young men, Patrick and Sixx, treated me like I was a member of their family. They stopped everything they were doing to start searching for it. They were compassionate, understanding, and did everything in their power to help. Eventually, Patrick was able to locate the tracking number, and we found the package. It was truly refreshing to see two young men treat a customer that way. That kind of customer service is simply nonexistent these days. I am very grateful for their help, and the store should be very proud to have these men on their team. read more

It's always nice to receive outstanding service! Today I went back and received excellent service by Sixx! I don't typically write reviews but my experience at this UPS location makes me never want to return. I received bad attitude from a bald male employee of 50+ yrs. I don't work at a UPS nor do I have years of experience returning packages. He not only made me feel dumb for not knowing return label guidelines, but he offered zero advice on what else UPS could help me with. Instead of him denying me help and returning me home with my huge packages, he could would offered different solutions, a smile and a positive attitude. I left the store so confused until I reflected on his behavior and realized he was so rude and unfriendly. Just went to the UPS on Story Rd, and received great help and guidance. That is now my go to UPS store. Bald worker at Alameda, I hope your manager talks to you about your behavior. 0 stars for you man. read more

Very sad. The UPS Store no longer does recycling of boxes for their customers. I had come to respect the previous ownership's commitment to green practices and keeping perfectly clean items out of recycling or performing reuse. Central UPD should take a look at this back-slide on Carbon Neutrality by their franchises. May need to make a new decision on my renewal. read more
