From day 1 at this location I have always had the best service and experiences. During the covid pandemic I had some issues with getting UPS to drop off my packages at store instead of my apt door where there is a high theft rate. I recently had an order sent to this store and when I walked in Pat said, "I have been waiting for you to come back in, I have a package here I've been holding for you for months but I didn't know how to get ahold of you". Turned out it was a very expensive product I had ordered months ago and went through a run around with company I purchased it from. She said the company instructed her to charge me a holding fee, but she refused. Telling them I was a good customer and that she knew I would be back one day! Talk about make your day with everything that is going on. I've observed Pat, on every occasion I have gone into this location, be polite, courteous, efficient and helpful. Let me add my first experience at this location. The store was literally slammed with a line of customers. I was in a hurry as I was on my break from work as a city bus operator. I thought for sure from past experiences in this type of store with the volume of customers waiting to mail packages and more, that it was going to be a bit of a wait. To my surprise Pat and Greg were just amazing and pleasant while multitasking and getting everyone taken care of quickly, politely and efficiently! I was so impressed with this 1st experience it sold me on this store. And every single time I go in, I witness the same level of customer service! As long as I'm within a reasonable distance from this location, this will be MY UPS STORE!! And if I move far away, I will occasionally have a package sent there anyway to stop by and see Pat & Greg! I have read some negative reviews about this store that I believe are several years old. Of the many trips I make to this store I have never experienced or witnessed bad customer service here. I've also never seen any of the people mentioned in these old reviews working there. So as if October 2020 I highly recommend this UPS store!! I had an extremely important package I needed to send to Africa using DHL. I stopped at this UPS Store on my way home one day, even tho it was over 30 min away from my house. Pat was working and she went above and beyond to help me figure out what was all needed to get it there safely and on time. I came back about a week later when i had everything ready to send. Pat was working again & she helped me to get it all to fit into a properly sized box to help keep the cost down. I explained to her that the contents were for orphaned & abandoned children with special needs. Ten specialized feeding tubes that they can't even buy in their part of Africa at all. Pat was so kind and seemed very touched by the pictures i showed her of all the children i love there. She even offered to pay for the cardboard box with her personal money that was needed to purchase to send the tubes in! Wow! The whole time I was in the store, other customers came in and she acknowledged every single one of them and helped them in a very kind and expedient way too. All I can say is if you have something valuable or important to send, you can trust Pat at this location to help you get it to your destination safely and securely! I was looking for a UPS location to use that was close and convenient and found this location next to Safeway at the corner of 7th Street and Thunderbird. I took several items in to ship and they helped me find the right size boxes and set up an account for me. Since then I have returned almost every day with packages to ship for our Toffee business. The staff there are always extremely helpful and friendly, starting with Pat the manager. She is so polite and always greets everyone that comes in, and two young men who work in there Nick and Ray are equally cheerful and eager to help with all their customer's needs. I have been using them for several weeks now and am really happy with their service. They also have mailboxes in there and although I don't need one, I did notice that they seemed to personally know the customers who do by name. I think it's really nice that they take the time to get to know their customers and treat them in such a personal and friendly manner. I would definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a friendly UPS store where you can take care of all your shipping needs and be treated with a personal touch. I don't usually write reviews much, but I was so impressed and happy with the service I received at this location. I was moving from Phoenix to Nashville and had an OVERFLOW of personal belongings I wasn't able to fit in my 2 Pods! It didn't seem like I had a-lot left but I ended up with 10 large boxes to ship to myself. I had no idea how much it would cost (size & weight) so I called this location and PAT took my call. She was Amazingly Friendly and So helpful, I was compelled to use this location. When I arrived she Remembered me a By Name from my phone call, she had an associate come with my to my car with a Dolly am load all my boxes. Everything went great. Additionally, I was shipping an Expensive Wedding Dress to my daughter in a very large box, So I Insured it, and Thank God because it turned out the Dress Box delivery was an issue, as it had to be signed for and Nobody was gone to sign, so after 3 attempts the Wedding Dress was returned to the UPS STORE!! I freaked out a little worried about where it was until PAT CALLED ME to reassure me the box was with her at UPS and safe until I could get a family member to the store to pick it up! I am grateful to PAT and her associates for taking such good care of me! read more

I had the opportunity the other day to watch Pat work with a very disgruntled client, she was very professional, made it a point to try to help him through the entire process, but unfortunately, he was not hearing it. He was rude, abrupt, and ultimately threatened her saying she was charging him money for a service that she only represents to the UPS store it's unfortunate. He couldn't see that she was doing the best to make him happy as he was just mad about a few dollars. It's unfortunate money was more important to him than the service he was receiving at the end of the day somebody like this, I would've asked to leave my business, but ultimately Patt treated with respect and made sure he at least felt that she would do everything she could to help them out if you ever stop by the store say hi to Pat and you'll always get great service. I was in Phoenix last week after my mother passed away and I wanted to ship some personal items to my home on the east coast. One item in particular, a bar globe, was too big and very expensive to ship. It was also damaged from tape that we used to transport it securely to the UPS store. Pat was extremely helpful in working with me to find alternatives, even after I returned home. She went out of her way to call me with suggestions and emailed me photographs and the dimensions of the globe so I could find a match online. Her personal attention to this is an example of superb customer service! Not only is she extremely pleasant to deal with, but she takes a genuine interest in her customers' needs. I visited this store for the 2nd time on 12/17/2020 and was greeted with a warm welcome by Greg and then Nick. During my 1st visit on 10/10/2020 Greg assisted me with a fingerprint clearance card and his customer service was awesome. For my 2nd visit, Nick assisted me and I can honestly say that both Nick and Greg are awesome at what they do, which really says a lot about the management there. Both are great assets to this establishment and always display a bold amount of happiness in what they are doing to assist the customer. Way to go guys! It has been a while since I've come to this location because of a very rude young girl who used to work in the afternoons, but I'm so happy I did! Katie is such a doll! Even though the line was longer she got everyone taken care of quickly but still took the time to care with everyone! I had a phone to send back and she could've just handed me my label but she took the time to explain the importance of keeping it until it was received. It may not be much to some, but to me, when someone who doesn't know me takes the time to care even though she's busy, it really makes my day! Thanks for everything! I communicated to the Victor the owner a few weeks ago that if I could nominate Pat for an outstanding customer service award that I would surely do so. When one thinks of a neighborhood store, this is the place. Postage and shipping, notary services and more, I have always enjoyed coming here. Pat, the manager, is friendly to all and I truly fee heartwarmed whenever I come in to do business. She is exceptional. And her employees are great too. Best local UPS shop! I have been using them to pack and ship out my ceramic art. They do a wonderful job of packing and I have never had a piece break in transit! I've even had several customers comment on how beautifully their pieces were packaged.
