I had to visit this UPS store twice. It sits in a very congested area within two strip malls that have various eateries and businesses. If it wasn't for the fact that UPS has specific parking spots for drop offs the parking would be a problem. Yes, a lot of customers come into this store for many reasons. I have not ever have spent more than ten minutes if that to take care of my business. Once you take your package to the counter it goes fast. Of course every time I use UPS is for a return item and I always have the labels ready so I'm always prepared. Their service is fast and they are very helpful as I noticed the young man taking care of an elderly lady and giving her guidance on her package. I could tell she was really appreciative of the help she got from the young man. I will continue to use this one location when I have to. This one particular UPS store is located near 30th Avenue and Peoria Avenue in Phoenix. Like I said busy location but they are quick. read more

The employee who assisted me was extremely rude, used repeated profanity, and called me a "fucking bitch" multiple times. I have previously written the review for the UPS I believe at 3100 West Peoria something close to that address . Anyway I told Amazon what they did and they refunded me $8.50 and also gave me an additional $10 because of the hassle I got at the store. I had previously reviewed that they would not take my package to pack it and send it back to Amazon , told me to buy bubble wrap and a box packet and then they would send it. Yigit and the girl with the faded pink hair are the worst people for customer services. I came for finger prints and forgot a second form of ID, he said it was ok as long as I have a credit card. which I did, then said afterwards that he couldn't use it. I also asked if I can reschedule and he said I couldn't since he already opened the appointment. I then called someone to drop off a second form of id for me as i live down the street, about 5 mins, and he kept asking how long every 2 mins and kept mumbling under his breath when I said a few mins. not joking, they showed up in 6 mins all together. as we were waiting the girl in the pink hair made a comment on what he was doing as there was 3 other customers in the store. when he told her, she got upset and then proceed to argue with a customer because she didnt understand her last name in Spanish. worst place to go, worst customer services, and it shows this isn't their first complaint. read more

Had the worst experience. The stores owner- management needs to investigate in shipping and handling. My boyfriend was dropping off 3 shipments. For some reason or the other, the employee told him the uploading system were down and to air drop emails to his phone. The employee tgave my boyfriend receipt for shipment, but it never got shipped out, only 1 with lesser value was shipped out. Please be careful in sending anything with high value through this store. Our customers, who was awaiting the shipment was very upset and angry, they paid high value for the product. Our product is missing/stolen / never shipped out by the employee. We will contact for a refund for both products. The value of both products together was above 900 dollars. After reading other reviews, it seems like the store employees are stealing packages. This is an awful UPS store. No notary but they did put up a sign regarding lack of notary with alternate location. The hours say open time is 8:00am. No one is there at 8:00am. I've counted at least 10 other customers who left while I sit & wait for the store to open. One day last week when I shipped packages the store didn't open until after 9:00am. This store sold me a service that did not exist for $130.00 and then refused to refund my money... I went in on Sunday to overnight a package. The guy behind the counter said the item would arrive by 9:30 the next morning. I even said, " oh I'm so glad you guys can do this on a Sunday." He sold me this service knowing that ups would not deliver the item by Monday morning. When I couldn't find my tracking number online, I went into the store for help. The woman behind the counter was incredibly rude and blamed me for buying the service that did not exist. When I asked to speak to a manager about the situation, she said, " I mean, I can call him but he's not going to do anything for you." She then proceeded to call him, go to the back to talk to him and then came back and said, " ya we can't do anything for you." I then asked for his number to speak to him myself, but he did not answer my calls. I went back into the store to have the employee call him for me, and lo and behold, he answered his phone. He told me that he would refund me within 48 hours but he was not in the country right now. After not hearing from him in 48 hours, I tried calling back several times but he doesn't answer his phone. I guess I'm out the 130 but I wanted to warn people that this store is intentionally selling services that don't exist and not giving two shits about the money they are taking from their hard working customers. "Tiff" was without a doubt the worst customer service experience I've ever had at any UPS store. The attitude and conduct was appalling. When asked if my box could be taped, a 1inch gap was left in the box. When asked to tape it closed replied with "I'll get to it when I get to it". I was shocked. Then proceeded to refuse to tape the box until I paid. Despite having already taped it...just poorly. I offered to do it she said do not touch the tape. So I said I'd like to know my box is actually CLOSED before paying and she then argued back and finally did it. Genuinely the most offensive customer service exchange I've had in a long time. He told me he was doing me a favor by helping me even though it's his job to help me! He yelled at me that he hadn't had a lunch break and doesn't get lunch breaks! Absolutely terrible service. First, I scheduled an appointment with a notary online; when I showed up, the counter person said, "Oh, we don't do that; I don't know why the website says we do." No apology, no suggestion for how to remedy the issue. I clarified if they had no notary at all or if the notary was just not scheduled. The clerk seemed at a loss for any answer. I could not answer how I could schedule an appointment with a notary or when the notary would be at the store. Unhelpful. I had two items of clothing to be returned with a QR code. Received a receipt. After a few weeks, I only received a refund for one item of clothing from the store. I contacted the store, and they said only one item arrived; contacted UPS, and again, they were jaw-droppingly unhelpful. She said, "There's nothing here at the store, so we must have sent it," and "It must have got lost in transport, and that isn't our fault." Wait, I thought YOU were the people who ensure the transport of items? When it was clear she wasn't going to help, I asked for a manager...she said they didn't have a manager. You don't have a manager--no--well, they'll tell you the same thing. Avoid this store they are so bad it will make your head spin and your blood pressure spike. Never answering the phone the mail is always behind and today when I called to find out if they would be doing the mail they said the mail is in but they are not putting it out today. I have no idea what kind of customer service that is but it's definitely not the kind that I expect to receive they take my money every month they have my mail there but I cannot pick it up today because of whatever reason. So I needed my fingerprint card so I can go to Nursing school in a few months. I never got my fingerprint scanned before, and was pretty nervous I wasn't even at the right place to get it. However, Victoria knew exactly what I needed the moment I said 'fingerprint' and she got right to it. Clearly, she had a lot of experience from the get-go. While I was there she was in charge the whole time, asked questions for me to easily answer, and got me done in less than 5 minutes while she was handling a phone call and 2 other customers. They will make you pay for taping to seal up a bag that is originally from Amazon. They could have used the shipping label to act as the tape to keep the bag sealed. I had a mailbox for a year at the ups store at 3039 W Peoria Ave. I paid $300 for a small box. For the entire year, no ability to get mail after hours. Every time I went to pick up mail & packages (behind the service counter) I would have to wait 30 minutes because the store is understaffed & very busy. During the pandemic the store would be full of customers in masks waiting in line for 30 minutes. Some days the line of people would extend all the way outside of the store with people waiting outside in line! When my box expired I did not renew and got a PO Box at the post office down the street instead for literally half the cost & no waiting! At the post office if you get a large package it goes in a large box & they leave a key in your mailbox so you can get your package but not at UPS Store. You will stand in line waiting. I recommend using a different UPS store or your nearest post office to get mail. read more

I really like the staff here. Friendly/courteous - but they seem to have a lot of turnover. They've got LOTS of stuff and it's convenient for packing stuff. If you want to mail USPS - go to the post-office to do it though. The prices they charge are fairly high. I made an account just to review this place. I went here for the notary and to have a document printed out at about 4pm. They told me that the notary wasn't in until 6pm. I paid for my document to be printed and for the notary (that wasn't even there) and came back at 6pm just to hear that the only notary certified employee they have hasn't been answering their calls or texts and would not be in until 7, if he even shows up. I asked for a refund and it was processed no problem. I call ahead of time to see if the notary is in and come back a few days later because this is still the closest notary to me. When I arrive, I pay for the notary service and wait just to see that the notary is on a personal call and then proceeds to get on the customers side of the counter to make a purchase. We have used this exact location for our mail services for our pool business since 2014. Once it went through new management getting mail in our box at a decent time or picking up packages while we wait in line for 2030 minutes because they're short staffed is a nightmare. We don't live in the area so I use the perk of calling to see if I have mail before I take the drive and most the times I can't get anyone on the phone and even if I do the excuse I get is they're short staffed and they don't have time to put the mail out. Why am I getting charge for a mailbox and can't get my mail because there shortstaffed. I had trusted store 4870 with packing and shipping collectibles; new box, pack, ship. When I received my package I couldn't believe the state it was in. The exterior was damaged by dragging, crushing and impact. The contents were destroyed. I understand that may have happened in transit- but it was one of three packages sent- the other two (self packed) arrived undamaged. After making a claim I have been getting the run around for two months...still no resolution. Promised calls by Ben, the 'manager' have been no go. I'm still waiting week after week just to hear from them as my calls go to hold or passed off to someone else. This is the absolute worst customer service in my experience.
