Lindsey is a life saver…read more I got married in AZ and in lue of a gater toss I was going to retire my bachelor jersey. Found a place online and the jersey wasn't expected to arrive on time. So off to yelp I go to find a replacement. I came across Show and Tell on a Monday. Lindsey and I had a couple of exchanges via email where I explained the vision. While they didn't have a jersey, they did have a shirt and so be it. She was able to print and have it ready for me by Thursday. I was in West Valley on Thursday, but she stuck around on a Friday afternoon until I was able to pick it up and the shirt was perfect. My best man caught the shirt and plans to toss it at his wedding.

As I was browsing through the sections, I noticed a v long line for cutting (about 12 people) and 4 staff working the cutting counter. I found a piece of cut fabric which I really liked but couldn't tell how much it cost. The price signs were inconsistent. There was no help on the floor. I made my way through the line to pay and told the cashier i didn't know how much it was but I wanted the whole thing. I told her I had a tape measure and was told I would have to go wait into the line for cutting to have it measured. The young woman had a whole lot of condescension in her tone and zero amount of helpfulness. It was my first time there and I was embarrassed by the staff with their attitude in front of the long line of customers waiting behind me. I actually heard some laughter. It was almost like she was a bully.

TL;DR Another local company let me down. I called Jayarr crazy last minute. He made an awesome,…read moresilly design on 15 shirts for me in less than 2 hours and only charged me what I had paid at the other place, which was not a rushed price. The long story: I placed an online order with another local company for custom screenprinted t-shirts for my friend's thesis defense. They weren't replying to my emails, and on the morning of the event, I had no idea if my shirts were going to be ready. I called other shirt printing companies around Tempe but none of them were able to make me shirts before the defense that afternoon. I called Jayarr around 8:10 in the morning and explained my situation. He told me we'd figure something out and asked me to drop by his store. I got to his shop at 9. Because screenprinting takes a few days, he explained, we would have to do a heat transfer. I was disappointed because that meant we couldn't use the silly image I had come up with because heat transfer is single color and my image was really detailed. My disappointment didn't last long, as Jayarr came up with an amazing, silly design in like 10 minutes that was wayyy better than the original one that I had made on my own. He then used his in-shop printer to print out the vinyl (I'm pretty sure it was vinyl), hand-cut each of the printouts, and transfer the design onto 15 shirts (he had a large selection of sizes and colors already there). I was out the door at 10:30. Jayarr was fun to work with and explained the processes to me while he was doing everything. He dropped everything he was up to to make these shirts for me but never made me feel like I was asking too much from him. He even let me hang out and do some work while he was cutting all the little details out of the vinyl and transferring them to the shirts. The shirts were a huge hit at the defense and my friend now has his PhD and a t-shirt souvenir! Thanks so much, Jayarr!
