Since then, Mulqueen has moved to their present location but no longer sells vacuum cleaners. However they do offer parts from a demo vacuum Miele model, which they are willing to sell. I stopped by and a kind staff lady brought me the part but unfortunately neither of us could easily slide the telescope wand handle. She was honest and said it wasn't worth purchasing. I wouldn't have bought it either and appreciate her transparency. While I was there, I browsed through the sections of the store. I discovered embroidery machines, quilting patterns, supplies and a room full of fabrics for sale. I'm sure this will be a source for goods for patrons of Joanne's Fabric and Craft stores. It is sad that Joanne's is closing 800 locations after filing bankruptcy this past January. If I sewed or did any of the above I would be excited to visit here-but I'm not the sewing type. i even find sewing a missing button on clothing a chore! I bring in 5 sweatsuits, 4 t shirts, 1 pair of sweatshorts, a pair of denim shorts, 3 visors and 1 hat. I was told initially by the manager of the store that she would reach out to the owner, harvey to confirm pricing so she told me that i would receive an invoice later that night. Never received it. So i waited until yesterday 02/24/2026 to call since i still hadn't gotten anything and the manager told me that she was working on my samples yesterday and an invoice was going to be sent out shortly. again, never received it. So i went in person to follow up on my samples today 02/25/2026 since i was told they were going to be finished by today or tomorrow and i wanted to make sure progress was being made since i hadn't been given any form of payment to pay still. I go in person and the manager isn't even there. My clothes are in boxes still untouched, so she lied to me, and are sitting underneath a cart. I tell the guy who's working there that i'm here to follow up on my samples i dropped off last week and he's clueless. He has to text the manager and owner to get context. I finally receive my invoice and i open it only to see it say $534 lmao. This place is crazy unprofessional. I can't tell you how many times i've had to just show up in person to press the staff on any doing their job since i can't get any real answers over the phone. It's not hard to communicate if you can't follow through on something and speaks more to your clients than trying to over promise and under sell.
